Ordered thru DD for delivery. Everything was good but my favorite was the Mac and cheese. The coleslaw was not my cup of tea. Very mayonnaise forward. I wish the BBQ sauce had been on the side. They were swimming in it. I did like the sauce because it wasn't sweet. Portions were generous. I really enjoyed the catfish but they could have included some tartar sauce. All in all decent chow.

When I arrived, I only saw one person at the counter, who I believe was the owner. As I walked in, two customers were leaving with their takeout orders. There were several customers ahead of me, and the owner appeared to be both taking orders and making small talk. After waiting a few minutes, it seemed like it might take at least an hour to place my order and receive my food. I assume the food is good, but I'm unsure if I'll be back in the area anytime soon.

Only stopped by for a to-go order. Great service but the food is everything! Very flavorful, and we got good portions. Will return!

I got too much food for 2 people. This review is moreso for the food, since i ordered to go. I paid about 45 bucks, and we had left overs for another meal. We ended up getting a 3 meat platter and another 2 meat platter. Each platter comes with your choice of two sides. after trying four different sides, i would highly recommend getting the collard greens & sweet yams. Don't get the mac and cheese as it was lacking in flavor. For the meats, they were smoked well and were bursting with flavor. we also got corn bread, and that was amazing. I wanted the jalapeno cornbread, but they told me they didn't have any at the time. Out of all the meats, the sausage was the best. The interior is fairly run down and there were not a lot of seats inside. it also felt grimy inside, and the food was kinda sticky/definitely greasy. They also have charging stations for EVs, but believe you'll need to pay for it.

Got a to go order from here and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of good and the taste. I love to grill and this bbq chicken was cooked very well. The cabbage was also delicious and the mac n cheese was creamy. Will definitely be back for another big box to go order.

Found this place on the "Too good to go" app, if you are not familiar please look it up. Definitely a great way to try new places! But the customer service was great, the staff was very friendly. We got 2 of the same surprise bags which consisted of the cabbage, spaghetti and macaroni. Most of the stuff we received I didn't see on the menu. The rib tip and hot link plate was $30 by itself and it wasn't much. The food was bland. The cabbage was sweet. The meat didn't have any seasonings but the hot links were good and spicy. It wasn't my favorite I personally wouldn't return for the food itself. This place is a literal hole in the wall. The customers in the building were raving about the food so i highly recommend everyone try it for themselves.

Excellent service! I went in for a meal today. I had passed by but never stopped, today I came in and I don't regret it. The meat is so tender and flavorful! The smokiness is perfection! I'll definitely be back. Such a hidden gem! The nachos were delicious!!

A great local, family-owned soul food and bbq! Love their bbq, but I dream about the corn bread and fried okra. I recently picked up an order - part of the No Food Waste program from Granny's Soul Food (#TooGoodToGo). For about $6, I received a slice of meatloaf, some smoked sausage, a fried drumstick, corn and mashed potatoes. Everything tasted SO delicious! Perfectly seasoned without being over salted, the meats were all juicy (OMG, the meatloaf!!! YUM!!!). 1. I love that Rosako's is part of the No Food Waste initiative. Instead of throwing out perfectly good food, this gives people a chance to try something, or pick up items at a discount. 2. The food I ordered today is a bit different from what I've ordered from Rosako's - this was a fun introduction to another very good soul food point of view. 3. I LOVE that Rosako's has a program where you can buy a meal for a veteran (there are so many who can't afford a meal...everyone deserves a hot meal and a place to feel embraced and appreciated). If you are able to pay it forward I encourage you to do so . I'll definitely be returning to Rosako's (and Granny's) using the #TooGoodToGo app as well as going in to support this local business and ordering off their menu.

I'm officially done with this dude's business over the past three years since I discovered this restaurant the food is always hit or miss and it's been a miss more times than I hit. I'm so tired of dealing with his horrible business ethics he always is giving you either fresh food or old food and you can taste it and you can see it. This is such a horrible business. This is not how you run your business and then of course the portions have gotten smaller for the same amount of money but worse food. I'm officially done ordering here. Definitely have to find somewhere else to eat. Get it together! You can see in pictures and reviews over the years how bad it is now then he'll just send you whatever through delivery apps I ordered rib tips not ribs look at the difference!

This has got to be one of the best BBQ places I've had in a minute. The rib tips fall off the bone and the sides especially the mac n cheese is actually seasoned ! Unlike other BBQ places . I give this place a 10/10 . Plus Al is really nice . I've definitely been a frequent customer since trying it the first time '! Keep up the great work & seasonings

What are their hours or are they closed? I stopped there Thursday (7/23/2020) around 245pm and they were closed w/ no signs about why and phone number just goes to voicemail. Not a short drive to find out their no open again!

Their hours appear to be shortened with COVID 19. There is no dine-in - just carry out or curbside delivery. They are closed on Monday, and Tues -Fri are open 11am - 5pm. Sat-Sun they are open 12 pm - 6 pm. Also, their menu is extremely limited.…

Soup or no soup, that is the question?

They do have a couple soup options. Cabbage soup is one

I hit the drive-thru and the service was excellent. I could even understand through the speakers! Nice displays of menus and specials. Looks like they even have a Thanksgiving package (hint hint). Lots of drive-thru ambiance. I ordered the 2-meat plate (brisket and sausage), and instead of 2-sides I replaced with a loaded baked potato. When asked which sauce, my eye started twitching. I dont like pouring sauce on meat after the fact...I prefer it baked and baked in. But...I told them id take their spicy BBQ sauce on the side. So...once I got home, I tore into the potato. It was HUGE so I cut it in half. The meat did not have sauce baked and baked in, but it was good. Really good. And then I went crazy. I tasted the spicy BBQ sauce. Very good. And went crazier and poured it over the brisket, sausage, and baked potato. There was a lot of food on the plate, so I saved half for leftovers. It was really really good and I'll definitely be going back.
