A well deserved 5 stars. I came to Rosalia's last night with my bf for their grand opening and I was blown away. From the authenticity of the food, to the kindness and friendliness of the owners and staff. Rosalia's is the place to go for the perfect slice of pizza and Sicilian entrés as authentic as they come. I'm confused why they got a poor review on the quality of the pizza because it was absolutely incredible. Flavorful and the crust was crispy and flaky. We really enjoyed their buffalo chicken slice, and their other specialty pies sounded amazing. We also ordered the penne alla vodka and the penne with carbonara. They were both mouthwatering. You can just taste that everything is home made. I highly recommend both! The prices are extremely fair for the generous portion you get. Last but not least, DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THE CANNOLI!!! Ok, im getting around to writing this review late, this was for an order we had delivered in April a few months ago delivered during the height of the covid pandemic. Ordered a pie with specified toppings. Pizza was delivered but completely wrong toppings. Was sent with Pepporoni instead of peppers. Honest mistake i guess, but the people eating this don't eat meat, so pizza was pretty useless.... Ok no big deal, i know mistakes happen, i'll just get a refund and move on. Luckily i ordered thru an app where you can get a refund if your order is wrong without having to deal directly with the restaurant. Anyhow, 10-15 minutes later, the same delivery boy is ringing my bell. Obviously what happened is he delivered my pizza to someone else, and their pizza to me. So the other party must have called the restaurant after they also realized they got the wrong pizza.. and the restaurant sent the delivery guy back to them where he delivered my pizza, picked it up, and came to me to switch pizzas and bring this one back to the other person. Even in normal times thats pretty skeezy, but during the height of the covid-19 epidemic (mid April), this is completely unnacceptable of the restaurant. I had to tell the guy theres no way im taking a pizza that was delivered somewhere else first. And that i already threw the one out that he brought me. He literally stood kept knocking on my door to get me to take the pizza. I had to tell him to get lost before he finally left. This is not acceptable by any means during the height of this epidemic to try to switch two customers pizzas after both had it in their houses and handled them. read more

I'm honestly conflicted between giving 2 or 3 stars. There was only one issue with my order, but in my opinion, it's a critical one, because it's so easily avoidable. I tried Rosalia's today for the first time; ordered a large pie with mushrooms, and had it delivered. The delivery time was fast, and the pizza was crisp. Taste was good, though the amount of mushrooms used was pretty sparse for a whole pizza. But the key issue; the box was not in a warming bag. The delivery guy just had it out in the open, and in early January, on a cold and windy night, pizza doesn't tend to stay hot too long. And mine arrived quite cool. Sure, I can heat it in my oven, and I did, but that defeats the purpose of ordering out. And the fix is so simple; give the delivery guys warming bags. Hopefully the restaurant will make this simple correction and avoid giving their customers cold pizza. read more

Rosalia's offers pizza making class on the first and 3rd Saturday of every Saturday. Since it was only $7 I thought we'd give it a try. It was so much fun! My son got to make his own personal pan pizza and was given a soda to go with it. We got to the pizzeria early, so they gave us free garlic knots to snack on while we waited. Wonderful! On top of all of this, they gave the kids a surprise treat - free nutella pizza! All of this for only $7. I thought that was too cheap, so I gave them a nice tip. They deserve it! read more

We came here because we were craving for pizza and were around the area. We got the regular plain slice and the sauce was underwhelming and not satisfying. It tasted like frozen pizza. We also ordered the meatball appetizer, there were 4 nicely sized meatballs and it came with warm bread BUT the center of the meatballs were still cold, they looked like frozen meatballs too. I dont usually order pizza since I usually review yelp and the reviews are mediocre around my neighborhood. However, since we are going through a pandemic, I decided to give this place a try. I ordered a few slices and asked for it extra crispy. When I got home, I toasted it even more cus I like mine really hot. To my surprise, this pizza was so cheesy and delicious. It had the right amount of tomato sauce and I never eat the crust but their crust was sooooo yummy and thin. I was so pleased, I ended up eating my boyfriends slice too. Something about their pizza, reminds me of a time when owners were not cheap with their ingredients and pizza was so cheesy, it stretched a feet a way when you took a bite of it. I loved it; however, I do recommend eating it while it is hot so the cheese is all melty in your mouth lol. The owner and staff were also very polite, super plus for me. Ordered from their catering menu, had it delivered to our event from start to finish - a success. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. The pizzas were delicious. I am new to the neighborhood and was throwing an impromptu party. I didn't want to drive all the way back to Long Island to pickup food. Just happened to walk by, grab a menu and order some trays. Worked perfectly! Very reasonably priced for the quantity. Got a tray of chicken parm, 1/2 tray of cavatelli and broccoli, 1/2 tray of tortellini alfredo and a 1/2 tray of broccoli rabe and sausage. This fed 12-15 people with almost HALF left over! Everyone liked it too so I was happy. Delivery was on time with instructions for heating. We were at the Forest Hills stadium watching Culture Club, B-52's and The Thompson Twins, afterward we were hungry and decided to go eat pizza. My friend recommended this pizza shop and we ordered the Everything pizza. My opinion on the pizza is not much taste to it. The people working inside the pizza shop are very friendly (5 stars for friendliness and service). Decided to give the new pizza place a shot. I really appreciated the ease of use on Seamless but after that experience was a disaster. For 40 bucks including tip I received one of the worst pies I have ever had and fettuccine which tasted like it was from. T.V dinner. I ordered a chicken and pepperoni pie, with chicken that looked liked it was microwaved or repurposed, pepperoni that was small and flavorless. Crust was decent, but barely any sauce. EVERYTHING was bland, underseasoned, UNERWHELMING. I usually will eat anything when I am hungry, but I ended up throwing out the rest of the pie. My wife tried the Pasta and said it was okay, but after a few bites was not interested. Right in the garbage. Never again read more

Dry and stale tasting Margherita pizza...Pretty bad...And the grade pending isn't an incentive either.

Their slices are good but I LOVE the fact that they don't use eggs on their dough. My daughter is allergic to eggs and so glad she can eat a slice from here. Their garlic knots are good too! read more

Disappointed We Ordered eggplant parmigiana with ziti, onion rings and buffalo wings. I did call and ask if this was their definition of parmigiana, because if it was I would know not to order on the future. She apologized that I did not get what I expected, but that she wrote down what I had ordered and then asked if I wanted to speak to the chef (I declined) 1. There was about 5 large pieces of fried eggplant in the bottom of the dish, covered with ziti, then sauce and WAY too much mozzarella. I had to use a steak knife to cut into the cheese. 2. The eggplant was not layered with sauce or ricotta cheese or anything. Just a stack of fried eggplant and not flavorful at all 3. The onion rings were chewy and tough..no crisp, no tenderness and actually quite tasteless 4. The wings were tasty, but the meat was tough..almost what seemed to be reheated (microwave, maybe?) The order arrived with the eggplant container totally smashed in by the weight of what was on top f it and there was cheese and sauce oozing out all over the inside of the bag. If there are multiple heavy items, it might make sense to pack 2 bags to avoid this mess The delivery person was one of the nicest I have ever had from anywhere I might try again, although I was not thrilled with the pizza from 2 weeks ago that I tried either I mentioned to the girl that answered the phone that the website on the menu did not work..she apologized and said that it was not up and running yet...contrary to 2 weeks ago when I was told he didn't know why it wasn't working for me and red me back the website If the website is working, you may want to include menus with the delivery order...I had asked each of the 2 times for a menu to come with the delivery but never got one. The delivery,an did offer to go get it out of his car(I think he said car) but I declined and said it wasn't necessary... The pepperoni pie was hot, fresh and delicious. This is probably the best pepperoni pizza I've had in Forest Hills. All of the staff were super friendly and very courteous. I'm from Staten Island, NY but this year for the super bowl I was in forest hills at a friends celebrating. He told me about this new pizza spot not to far from his house and said just you wait. And boy was he right. The pizza was like no other. Was delivered hot and crispy as if I was there eating it out of the oven. What drove me to write this review is that on a busy night such as the super bowl this place stood out to me on how much love they put into there pizza and food. I highly recommend this place. I was blown away and also gained 3 pounds that night. One of the best calzones I've ever had. Ended the night off with a Nutella pie which was unreal. TRY IT FOR YOUSELF!
