Rosalia's Pizza is the best pizza that is in Forest Hills in a long time. They are definitely different and BETTER than ALL of the rest. My family and I eat there and order from there all the time. The food is great and worth the wait! Everything is so fresh and homemade unlike anywhere else. The pizza is not greasy at all and you can tell that they use better ingredients. We were a large amount of people eating there and the orders came out perfect and even on deliveries as well. Rosalia's is a real family owned pizza place and so very nice. Excellent dough. This is the real deal. So happy to have this great pizza place in Rego Park. We ordered a large pie to go and couldn't finish so we freeze some in the fridge and it tasted just as good reheated in oven a week later . We will definitely visit again! read more

My husband and I have been trying to replace our deliciously inconsistent Primadonna since it closed and we tried this place. We ordered many commonly ordered slices on the menu before we decided to splurge on a dinner order and thank god we did. Every single pizza slice tasted like cardboard! No salt, pepper, parmesan cheese or garlic made anything taste better! The place looks horrible as I have just recently passed by it on my walk home and so is the food! Ordered in from them and the food left a lot to be desired. First they did not include salad dress (which they had asked us which one we wanted), second, we ordered broccoli sautéed in garlic and oil (cost is $7) and they sent 5 mini pieces of broccoli. The chicken parm was such a small portion. Shame on them!!! When we called to tell them, the girl who answered the phone said she didn't prepare the food. Not a good answer when you're a new restaurant!! I will definitely not order from here and certainly not give recommendations to anyone in the neighborhood. I ordered sausage peppers and onion hero and a specialty pie, vodka sauce pie and let me just say WOW!! Where has this place been all my life? The pizza was amazing!!! Thin crust and a nice amount of cheese! Sausage peppers and onion hero was also amazing! I definitely recommend trying this place and now they told me they even serve beer and wine which is a good addition. Can't wait to order different food to try! Good job guys!! read more

My wife and I passed by this new pizzeria during their soft opening and a person who appeared to be the owner was passing out samples of their fare. It was great. We went back about two weeks later and ordered their Mamma pizza. The obvious clue that this was not going to be a good event was when I noticed the pizzaiollo using a rolling pin to stretch and shape the dough. As expected, our pizza was slightly undercooked in the middle while the bottom crust was evenly and well cooked. Such a shame, not at all the same at the tasting we had (airy and crusty). read more

New pizza joint in the neighborhood. A lil pricier than most but the quality is above all other places in the area. We'll be back for sure.

This pizzeria is new in our neighborhood. I wanted to go to the one we always go to(Due Fratelli) but my family wanted to try this one. We ordered an escarole and bean soup and what we got was a vegetable soup with white beans that had all of the peas and carrots and cauliflower with a little bit of escarole. Not what i wanted at all. If you put escarole and beans on the menu it should be just that. Escarole. Beans. Chicken broth..garlic..what more do you need. Please stop trying to "improve" on the classics. Less is more. As far as the pepperoni pie is concerned Im giving them one star for the cheese. Their pizza dough was hard and chewy. And their pepperoni slices were the little tiny baby slices that were the size of a nickle. If this was an an attempt at a thin crust they failed miserably. I prefer a crust that is softer that you can actually chew without really working your jaw muscles. I took the crust and banged it on the table and it sounded like i was banging a pencil.. And the garlic knots were made from the same terrible dough. Not soft. Very hard..almost a stale texture and the only way i could get it down was to dunk it in the broth from the soup to soften it. Not worth wasting the calories on this place. Go across the street to Due Fratelli. Their food is way better. read more

I never knew about this place before I came across it on instagram. I decided to give it a try and see how it goes. I came in yesterday and tried a spinach and artichoke slice and a grandma slice. Both of these slices are absolutely delicious! It was crispy and so flavorful, I had tried other grandma slices around the area and had never really like any until I tried the one from this place! Then I ordered French fries and a side order of meatballs. I had no idea that they their fries were freshly cut from potatoes instead of it being from a frozen bag, it really does change the level at which this place serves their food. The meatballs are homemade too! I saw the pizza man putting them in when I walked in so I had to try them they are the sooo goood. After my visit there yesterday they can expect me to drop by at least once a week for something delicious from such a great location with the nicest workers! read more

Before this place was set to open my wife and I heard a lot of greats things about them based off their other restaurant. They have been voted best pizza in the past so we were eager to try this new place out. We ordered a specialty pie and fried zucchini sticks. The zucchini sticks had no batter/breadcrumbs on them. They were just cut and thrown into oil. The sauce on the side was good but what's the point if the sticks are just oily cuts of squash? Fried zucchini sticks should be breaded and fried. Am I missing something? I don't remember which specialty pizza we ordered, I think it was the Benvenuti pie. The toppings and cheese were ok but the crust was the driest and most tasteless I've ever had. Zero flavor. Believe what others on Yelp have reported. It was so bad we threw out the remaining 5 slices. And we were STARVING so that's saying a lot. Sorry but for around $40 worth of pizza and appetizers I'm going to have to pass on Rosalias going forward. Too bad because we were hoping to find another local pizza place we could throw into the rotation besides Gloria's. We live just two blocks away and we're psyched to enjoy this place. Sadly it was a disappointment. I might stop in for a regular slice as I believe in second chances but would never blindly order for delivery from there again. 2 stars for growing pains. read more
