Ordering is easy enough, and the time was what one would come to expect when ordering from a non-chain pizza establishment. It's a strictly to go operation so no options to dine in. Found this place on yelp since it was down the street from the Airbnb, I was staying at. I ordered three extra large pizzas for my bachelorette squad. We took these to the beach and they were so tasty! Service was super fast. Apple Pay accepted. Street parking only but there was Apple parking out front. Ambience was very small shop - hole in the wall. I wish I had asked for paper plates and ranch, I forgot to ask for this while I was ordering and it made a little tricky to eat this at the beach, but alas! We were staying at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay and found it hard to find pizza delivery to the hotel. I don't Grub, Uber, or whatever those are, preferring old school, give the money and gratuity straight to the business. So I was happy Rosaria's listed all hotels in the Mission Bay Area as part of their delivery area. I was told the pizza on a Friday night would be 45 mins - 1Hr wait. No problem, that was fine and anticipated. My home pizza place usually over quotes time, so I set a timer for 40mins, and planned on being down in the lobby waiting to make delivery even easier. Since my phone didn't recognize the driver's phone number, it silenced the call 35 minutes after I placed the order, so I was hurrying to get to the lobby where the patient delivery person was waiting. She whipped out her handy dandy credit card reader, got a full 25% gratuity, we said our goodbyes and went back to our room. The pizza was still freshly hot, but the toppings had sorta slid to one side and looked a little soupy. We tried sliding them back a bit, but soon realized we didn't much care. IT WAS DELICIOUS! The two of us polished off an entire large, extra cheese, Canadian bacon pie within 25 minutes! LOL I have added a bookmark for Rosaria's for next time we're in the area. This is a tiny almost-literal hole in the wall, so there's no place to sit, and you wouldn't want to if you could. Who cares? Order a pizza and eat it while the gloriously stringy cheese is still gooey. A wonderful mouth punch of flavor, Great thin crust. Very pleasantly surprised with how much I liked this pizza! I ordered the large meat lovers pizza for $19 and change. It came with a ton of meat- pepperoni, ham, meatballs. I loved how the toppings were layered underneath the cheese.. it made it much easier to eat. The pizza was a fair size, plenty of toppings, lots of cheese. Solid cheap pizza. This place is located close to the sunset cliff, so if you wanted to bring pizza with you to watch the sunset, this is the place. We've got two slices to go, and the size was pretty big! When I went, they did offer free delivery. Slice of cheese pizza was $1.75 and toppings were $.50 each. They definitely did not skim on those extra toppings, which I appreciate. I wish they had boxes for those slices, but paper plates works. read more

Stumbled upon this place today in a time crunch. They have pizza by the slice and sub sandwiches. I was expecting New York style crust but it wasn't and I'm not sure how to describe it. It was thicker but just kind of melted away in your mouth...no crunch. We ordered a cheese slice, pepperoni, vegetarian and combination. I have to say I couldn't believe how loaded with toppings the vegetarian and combination were...kudos. We also got a Rosaria's super sub which was similar to a typical Italian sandwich. I was expecting it to come out cold but it came out warm like it had been slightly pressed on a panini machine or something. I have to say it was unexpectedly delicious. I enjoyed every single bite of it along with the little container of oil and vinegar that came with it. Overall, we didn't love the pizza but like I said it is decent in a pinch especially for the price. We had 4 slices of pizza and an 8" sub sandwich for $21. You can't beat that. I usually go with the thin crust since the regular is too much crust for me, and it can be a little doughy sometimes. The thin crust isn't extremely thin either so you will still get just as full. The pizza was passable, definitely better than the corporate places but nothing greatly overwhelming about it. The wings, on the other hand, were completely, 100% awful. They were abnormally soggy and the breading/skin was just sliding off. It was so gross that it made me gag when I took my first bite. They were like slugs doused in watered-down buffalo sauce. I'm 99.9% sure they were previously frozen and they also lacked any good flavor. Extremely inedible and we threw the remaining ones in the trash. Never again.
