Birria pizza is absolutely delicious! The fries were also good. This place is almost a hole in the wall for being as small as it is, but let me tell you, that means nothing. Yesterday was a rainy day and we just weren't up to a cooking mood and were craving some pizza delivery instead. We ordered from Rosario's for the first time via the Slice app. The cheesesteak pizza immediately spoke to us, but we also felt compelled to try a Mexican option from the menu -- this place is truly unique in that they offer American pizza shop staples as well as Mexican staples, in addition to hybrid options like Mexican pizzas. We went with the Poblana. For two people, we ordered two medium-sized pies so we could ensure ourselves some leftovers to freeze for a later date/lunch the next day. The estimated delivery window was about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, but it arrived just under an hour from the time we placed the order -- that was great because we were hungry! Maybe ordering without any substitutions helped? We dug right in. The cheesesteak pizza was absolutely divine -- everything we could have hoped for. If anyone is thinking about trying that fabled "Philly Taco" where you take a Jim's steak and wrap it in a huge Lorenzo's slice ... don't bother: just get the cheesesteak pie from Rosario's instead and save yourself the trouble (and carbs!) of mashing two meals together. The Poblana pie was really interesting! I thought based on the photo that it still would have had red sauce, but it didn't; the beans were kind of like the sauce layer. The peppers added a nice bit of heat without it being overwhelming. Ground chorizo was delicious. We're not sure how this one will reheat, but we're going to try it anyway. Also appreciated that Rosario's adds an extra layer of cardboard under the pies to catch grease so the boxes are truly recyclable. :) Overall, very impressed with our first order from here! One thing worth mentioning is the pizza dough itself is pretty decent which makes the Mexican toppings that much better. Some of my favorites are the al pastor pizza, and the chicken poblano pizza. This is a reliable local spot with good food (pizza and Mexican) and awesome service. Their online ordering is so intuitive and their delivery is super fast. Their delivery guys are always wearing masks and are very nice. The restaurant offers no contact delivery so the drivers call you and let you know that they are about to drop off the order. While I wish their dough was a bit more airy and less dense, it is nonetheless delicious. Their sauce is good. Not too sweet, thankfully. Their toppings are always plentiful.
