I've eaten here numerous times and just came again yesterday. Solid pizzeria. A bunch of people were at the table so a few different things were ordered at the table. I tried the eggplant roll, chicken roll, and the penne vodka. All of them were good, especially the penne ala vodka. The chicken Caesar slice is DISGUSTING and not fresh at all. It is infested with bacteria because they have it sitting outside all day. I tried it the first time and found two strands of HAIR. Grosss. I ordered shrimp over spaghetti marinara. In addition to the shrimp were shrimp tails, no shrimp. I am very suspicious that they cleaned someone else plate back into the sauce pot. How else would I have gotten FOUR SHRIMP TAILS in addition to the shrimp that belonged there. Add to this there steady health department B rating AND having been closed by the health department, begs the question: why go here? read more

Sicilian is fantastic. The other slices are good as well but not comparable to the Sicilian. I've had other dishes such as the chicken parm which was good also. The prices are reasonable and quality remains at any of their locations. read more

Now this is what I call a five star pizza place! The staff is awesome and friendly and they are open late which is always a big plus! I'm not a big fan of pizza (I know...call me whatever you want!) but their Grandma slice is a gift from the gods. Always fresh and full of flavor, down to the perfectly sliced pieces of garlic that top each crispy slice. I've also had their garlic bread with is also equally wonderful. Their pasta dishes are pretty great too. Shrimp and chicken parm are on point! I do wish they delivered though but you can always call ahead and they are glad to prepare it while you race there to gobble up their delicious food. read more

Sadly, I have to give this restaurant a 1. My friend and I were visiting a friend that lives in Queens and on the way back to his Apt we stopped by Rosa's Pizza for a pizza pie. Everyone failed to mention this restaurant has a B RATING! Seeing that it got good reviews, we still went in. Not the worst mistake, but it could have been worse. I found a hair in my grandma style pizza pie that I took home. My friend asked me: what were you expecting from this restaurant? He reminded me that: no one was wearing gloves or hair nets, no one used clean cooking utensils and everyone behind the counter (about 7) was goofing off and laughing.The female employees were on their phones most of the time while the men prepared the orders. I was so hungry that I didn't even care at the moment to realize this, and mind you, this is the first time I entered a B Restaurant. However, I do remember that a female working there does not have a boyfriend but rather a "fiance" accompanied by a lot of laughs. This place kind of has Maspeth written all over it. It is located less than a blcok from where I used to live. I almost always went with their Sicilain slices, rather than their neoplaatian which I did not like. Their grandma slice is top notch (of ocurse you must like garlic to enjoy it). Lots of locals are in here and the service is quick as you would expect. read more

Such a staple in queens. They have been around for a long time. I have eaten here in several occasions and also have picked up trays to go for gatherings. Their staff is excellent. I used to like rosa's , but this place has has gone down hill, no one greets you like back in Their glory days, they take for ever to ask who's next, cashier lady has no customer service skills, the place is left filthy you would think the server should clean tables , like people we literally cleaning the tables them selves and complaining about it. Been eating Rosa's for 30 years now (back when they used to be where McDonald's is now on Grand Ave/69th Pl.) and it's always been and still is great. Another very good pizzeria that is very famous, the slice to get is the upside down square, the regular slice is very good too. Still would not call this place the best pizza, but still a solid slice. I would say 8.1 out of ten for the square and 7.9 for the regular cheese slice. The pizza is delicious. This is the only pizzeria I've been going to pretty much since I was old enough to eat pizza. They have a ton of creative slices like the taco, bbq chicken and caeser salad. Honestly I always pass by here all the time since I was a kid but I never actually walked in this pizzeria just bc tbh I was a little scared of walking in to order a pizza just bc everyone looks scary LMAOO. But Yeaaah finally have the gut to walk in and ordered myself a pizza. The first time I walked in I ordered two slices one w pepperoni and the another one w chicken buffalo something like that. They both good but the chicken buffalo was a little too messy to eat with and the chicken kept falling. The second time I walked in I got a regular slice which was okay but it was somewhat lack of tomato sauce...maybe bc it was 1AM & They just give out leftover? I feel like this place is always compared by Joeys but I gotta say they are both different. But overall I will come back and try others. read more

This is a good place to enjoy Pizza, hence it is not the best i've tasted. I must say though that their Sicilian marinara is above average, nice tangy sauce. I have heard from friends that the entrees are quite good as well. What can be said about this place. I lived in NYC for 34 years and I drop by here occasionally while I lived in Manhattan. I grew up near here though and when I was younger I came here all the time. Now I live in California and there's no place like this in CA. So every time I'm in town, I make it a point to come here to get a real slice of NY pizza. I've tried a lot of their pizzas, but since I'm only visiting now, I get there best and that is their Sicilian. It's square, full of tasty sauce and bubbling with cheese. Its the best anywhere. The texture of the thick dough is light and airy. The bottom and edge is crisp and crunchy. Its a simple slice and recipe. The best things in life are simple. read more

The Rosa's on 69th Street has been my favorite pizza place for pretty much my entire life. It has the best pizza in Queens, and perhaps in all of New York City (and therefore the world). My favorites include the garlic knots, regular slice, rigatoni slice, and eggplant slice. I'm a vegetarian now, but when I was a kid the taco slice was my favorite thing in the entire world. I'm obviously a fan, but I also need to mention that there is something very weird about this place, and this weirdness has to do with how they treat women. I'm often ignored or skipped on the line, and no one really looks me in the eye (I don't think this is just me, either). The outstanding pizza makes up for this, because I still go biweekly, but it stings a little that such a Queens institution behaves so strangely towards so many of its patrons. read more
