An extensive entrée menu, with all your Italian faves.....manicotti, baked clams, ziti, lasagna, chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, veal, shrimp...you name it! They also have hero's, shrimp parmesan is my fave! Appetizers, salads, and some really good calamari! One thing I love about this spot is that the pizza counter is always full with fresh pies. No dried up, 2 day old looking slices here! Really awesome variety, cesar slice (delish), margarita, grandma, baked ziti slice, lasagna slice, rigatoni slice, green salad slice, bbq chicken, mushroom, broccoli and chicken slice, and fresh mozzarella and tomato slice. They also have rice balls, chicken rolls, garlic knots, beef patties, and mozzarella sticks on the counter, ready to go! And if your not ready for a hero, they have grilled chicken on a roll with fresh mozzarella....always delish!! Chicken is marinated well, and is always fresh and juicy. Great hours....they are open late and are always busy. Large dinning area with lots of booths and tables and some flatscreen TV's. Its very rare that I go to Rosa's and they don't have what I want, on the contrary, if I don't see it, the answer is normally "its coming rite out!" Fresh pies are always "coming out" and I go late, usually after shopping or hanging out. Cesar pie disappears, everyone loves it, and they always seem to have it! Staff is great, busy but friendly! We ordered a vodka pizza for delivery in Ridgewood, when I opened the box I audibly gasped at how horrible it looked. Swimming in grease, no sauce at all, and the cheese was almost half an inch thick in some spots. The pizza was good but I didn't experience good service. I ordered in advance by phone for my pizza. I came in and waited to be helped. My food was already ready since I came 25 min after ordering. A young male worker asked me if I needed anything. I told him I came to pick up an order and he just told me to go to the register. I waited again behind a lady that was paying. Two separate customers then arrived later. The young lady at the register ended up calling and charging the two customers that came after me instead of going through the line in order. I am absolutely in love with this place. The service is very nice and the garlic knots are to die for. They do not do delivery which is a bit disappointing but the food is worth the walk. I've been to my fair share of pizza places and I reluctantly say that this place may be among the top 5. Cheap, good quality, friendly service, ample seating and most of all CREATIVITY! My favorite slice place in the city. The array of slices is breathtaking but it never seems like they're adding toppings just for the sake of variety - everything feels purposeful. Their plain slice is one of the best I've had and demonstrates their commitment to the fundamentals. That said, a trip to Rosa's wouldn't be complete if you just get plain slice. I typically opt for the eggplant parm slice and the ravioli slice. What really sets Rosa's apart from the competition is their attention to quality toppings. The eggplant parm on the eggplant parm slice could easily be served on its own at sit down restaurant and the same goes for the ravioli. I've noticed that all too often, when slice places venture far out on the topping spectrum, the quality of the toppings becomes an afterthought. Not at Rosa's. Tip: because they make such a wide variety of slices, not everything is available when it first opens (I've learned this the hard way). Rosa's is by far my favorite pizza place in the neighborhood. The slices are always fresh, large portions, many options and all around great taste. I have been going to Rosa's since I was a baby I have eaten at all the Rosa's but personally Fresh pond road is my favorite. Any of the slices are amazing depending on what you are in the mood for but my go to is always the chicken Cesar slice. Today I dined in for lunch with my brother we had the calamari Cesar salad and Sicilian slice. The calamari were huge well seasoned and fresh. The chicken Cesar was a very large portion with tons of chicken on top. The Sicilian slice was cooked to perfection. I never have any complaints when it comes to Rosa's it is a must have if you are in the neighborhood and want some real New York pizza. read more

Placed a Half Plain/Pepperoni Pie for pick up recently and It was just terrible. Extremely greasy, the cheese was falling off the slice, It was just unappealing. Neighborhood pizza place with a decent sized dining room. They have a nice selection of pizzas and other Italian favorites. They have other locations but this is the only one I have been to. When I come in I am greeted with a smile and a nice hello. So service for me is excellent. They can get busy at the counter so sometimes you have to speak up, which for me is no problem. The pizza is very good, if you like thick slices and crust, which I do. Prices are good for this area of Queens where pizza can definitely be more expensive. Definitely worth a visit. read more

This is one of my all time favorite pizza spots by far... They have a large selection and everything is always fresh. If you don't see what your looking for they can make it for you... My favorite is the chicken ceasar salad slice, yum. There hours are great. They stay open late and manage to keep everything fresh, must be because they are so busy. The service is awesome here as well... They lose a star because the parking situation is tough. Located on a busy street, the street parking is very limited and competitive. They do have a small parking lot around back (that most don't know about because you can barely see the sign), however the walk from the parking lot to the entrance is so long that I hardly every use the parking lot. Prices are fair, and the place to be anytime during the week. It's a spacious restaurant where I''ve been with my family on several occasions. They have Ravioli pizza, Buffalo Chicken pizza, and many more spot on classic /creations you can think of. The waitress maintains the entire restaurant, I've never seen the need for two, nor do I think they have had two at the same time. But sometimes she is M.I.A. in the dining area, when you want your check or um.... food. Since the place is large, there are restrooms here. The bathrooms are always clean, but really funny thing, always smell like sauce, so I'm always thinking that they freaking left a slice or something in there ( Italian air freshener, lol) But it's just a very strong smell that goes all throughout the pizzeria. I used to love this location of Rosa's...until tonight. So I walk in to place a take-out order. First thing I saw was a couple of hand written signs: "No cell phones at the counter." Wow. I can understand a few inconsiderate idiots don't know when to shut off their cells. I understand this is a private place of business. But just because some people don't know how to behave in public doesn't mean you don't have to get all Catholic school on us now. Besides, Rosa's a private business catering to the public. Jeez. Personally, I think those signs are just an excuse to get rid of people they don't want in their place. The vibe inside was different too. It just wasn't the same. For someone who doesn't like cellphones, one of the guys who runs the place...he was on the phone himself for the entire time I was there. Hypocrite. F**k them. Plenty of other pizzerias in the area. Writing this review saddens me very much. I grew up going to Rosa's. From 9th to 12th grade, it was the hangout spot for me and my friends and the food never ever failed us. I moved out of Ridgewood, but I still kept coming back for what I thought was the best pizza in Queens. Then one night, I ordered a pie with some friends in the area. The usual, half plain / half pepperoni. Ten minutes later, we're digging into the pie and the looks on all our faces after that one bite were scary. Four people said a combination of "omg, ew, yuck" after just one bite. We don't know what happened or if this was just a one-off. But we were so disappointed and personally hurt by the fact that Rosa's changed on us after all these years. Very sad :( read more
