We have been ordering takeout from here for the last 4 years. Pizza used to be better, seems the quality has slipped. Today's pizza was below average. I ordered and was told half an hour, I got there in 20 minutes and it was already up on the shelf, fantastic I thought it will be nice and hot! It was hot, but tasted mediocre. It tasted like it was pre-made, like all the ingredients are canned and spread on when an order is placed. This wasn't the only occurrence, last week we ordered burgers and fries for takeout - also average. During these pandemic times we are trying to keep our businesses alive, but we still expect to get good quality. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would have. First off, the "Manager" has one of the WORST attitudes I have ever encountered. They take FOREVER to deliver and when they are late, they fill you up with a bunch of EXCUSES as to why they were late. Food is ALWAYS cold if you get it delivered. The "Meat sauce" tastes like absolute dog food. I will be notifying Rosati's of what kind of nonsence is going on here and how they are giving the company, as a whole, a HORRIBLE name/reputation for themselves.Oh, and they can't follow the simplest of directions.... read more

I had a great experience with the catering from Lakemoor Rosati's. They catered both a wedding and retirement party. The wedding was at The Jewel Tea Pavilion in Barrington. We had lemon chicken, smashed potatoes, eggplant parmigiana, Italian sausage, and salad along with antipasto as an appetizer. Amazing food! Smooth delivery. The retirement party was smaller. I was sure to order the antipasto for an appetizer. We had beef sandwiches (should have ordered full tray as we ran out), eggplant parmigiana (my favorite) Italian sausage and the beautiful salad tray. I love Rosati's. The drivers are super punctual and I haven't met a staff member I haven't liked. There are some cuties who work here, let me tell you. And everyone is super friendly. The food is amazing. It's really great and always consistently good no matter what time of day or whether we get it delivery or eat there. This is one of my favorite zas to get in Chicagoland. Dare I say it's better than Giordano's or the big box deep dish around town. Yeah, I said it. Throw down. Also, I have eaten a lot of meat sauces in my time, and Rosati's does not taste like dog food. I've never eaten dog food, so I can't say for certain, but I eat at Michelin-starred restaurants all the time. You can trust me. ROSATIS FOREVER! read more

I had the best experience from this restaurant when I had them cater a party for me. The owner, Tony, delivered the order personally and ahead of schedule. I had 60 guests and by the end of the night they were all raving about the food. The antipasto platter had a huge variety of Italian meats and cheeses and fresh vegetables. I ordered the chicken vesuvio, lemon chicken, sausage and peppers, baked mostaccioli and meatballs. Every dish was excellent. I would highly recommend them for any catering or dinner event. read more

Ordered the same pizza we always order and it was wrong. Called and the girl on the phone argued that we must have ordered wrong. She continued to argue for over 5 minutes that it was our fault. Unbelievable customer service. We would have been happy just getting our pizza corrected and replaced not arguing for what we ordered. read more

After having pizza from other Rosatis, I must say this one in Lakemoor, Illinois is sub par. Family ordered 3 pizzas one night. All 3 were dry, too thick in the crust, and not plentiful in cheese. Am now ordering from one about 8 miles further away. read more

The food is good, the pricing is reasonable. They have a very small waiting area for pickup orders. Four signs reminding customers to wear masks. Out of the staff I saw, one was wearing a mask correctly, two had masks sort of covering their mouths and two weren't wearing them at all. I didn't order a side of COVID with my dinner! OK--My significant other brought me home some bacon sausage and peperoni pizza, So I didn't actually go into the place, but it was truly awesome. From what I understand they have a dining room and home made Alfredo sauce. Of course I will stomp on over and update you as the lusciousness progresses. Nicely decorated inside, food is always great (especially with modified orders), clean, and friendly. Their hot wings are outstanding.

So we tried the special 50% off on pasta. Spent around $30 w/ tip for the counter ladies since we were ordering it to go. Ordered a family size spaghetti with a side of meatballs. Pasta was the only thing that they would discount. Meatballs was full price and salad was extra. The meatballs, garlic bread and salad was alright. Now as far as noodles for the spaghetti, over cooked. Will give the place another try with their monday special of pizza. Hopefully they could redeem themselves. read more

The pizza is pretty good but when you're buying it by the slice make sure you ask how long it has been sitting there, if it's fresh it's great but they try to give you pizza that has been sitting there for WAY to long and its just not edible. I've been really happy and really disappointed here, always a roll of the dice. read more

Rosatis to the rescue!!!! A baptismal celebration and the caterer never showed up! Called and asked if they had a pan of pasta with marina sauce and a pan of garlic bread. The owner told me they will have it ready in 15 minutes.... I hung up the phone jumped in the car and raced over to pick it up. As promised all ready waiting for me. Went to dine in tonight. We ordered mango habanero chicken strips which are delicious and have had them a handful of times. We asked for them tossed in the sauce and when they came out the sauce was on the side. No big deal, we asked for them to be tossed. They came back out and it was obvious they took the side of sauce and dumped it over the top of them as the bottoms had no sauce on them whatsoever. Been here many times with our family and usually the food and service is great. This really pissed me off tonight. The laziness and lack of respect shown is terrible for business. Back before slot machines paying restaurants bills, this type of customer service is what really hurt business. Won't be eating here anymore. read more
