We stopped by this Five Guys location in TN on a road trip and the staff was really friendly. The burgers were good (as always! Everyone at the Brookview Centre Way location is wonderful! They greet me by name. (I go there once a week ) They're always smiling and friendly. The food is cooked well and quickly. Yesterday I told Angelica to hold my order. I was going to the nail salon and I would pick my order up when I was done. This location has vents that are dripping directly over a condiment/ shake station. The ceiling has black looking mold around at least the one vent that is dripping water from the ceiling. At $9 a hot dog and $11 for one cheese burger this sort of issue should be addressed immediately. Hopefully this is not dripping closer to the burger prep station. read more

First time having 5-guys and, my God, it was delicious! The burgers were grilled and freshly made, not frozen patties on a broiler. I ordered a cheese burger with grilled mushrooms, onions, and mayo. It was juicy, cheesy, and so good! The fries were so delicious, and though we ordered 2 small fries, we had a literal bag of fries! When I'm craving a messy juicy burger I go to Five Guys! Never had a burger I didn't like here, they are pretty consistent. I got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and hot sauce. It was good for a nicer fast food place. My biggest complaint is the price. I was with my daughter and her friend, they also got a cheeseburger and I ordered 1 large fries and 3 drinks. This is definitely one of my go-to places for a good cheeseburger. Yes, it might be a chain but this place has got it down. The Normal Burger - is 2 patties. Believe me don't order the single patty. It's a double for a reason and it's really good w/ 2 patties even if you only eat half of it. They have an app on my IPhone that I use quite frequently to order my cheeseburger that way I don't wait at all for it. This is how I order my Cheeseburger: Cheeseburger (2 patties), Extra Cheese, Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and Pickles. Yum!! French Fries - you can honestly get away with ordering a small order because they give you soo many fries! They also give you the option of regular fries or seasoned fries. I always seem to get the seasoned. Hot Dogs - they are a burger joint for a reason so I would stick w/ the burgers. The hot dogs aren't bad they just aren't my favorite and they slice the hotdogs in half. Next time you think of going fast food, or are just in the mood for a good burger then go check this place out. This location is the Best Five Guys in Knoxville. This is probably the BEST Hamburger in West Knoxville. This place rocks. I recently had a month's worth of schooling nearby and several days a week, I would find myself drawn to Five Guys for lunch. The menu is as basic as it gets, but you can dress up your burger anyway you want at no extra cost. Each adult burger comes with two generous 100% Angus beef, and while they say they cook them well done, you can be assured that well done does not mean charred. The atmosphere is fast, friendly and noisy. Lots of actions as the kitchen is open to the dining area. 50# bags of potatoes are palleted on the floor, along with large boxes of peanuts, free of charge for customers. Their french fries are terrific, however, one order of fries will generously feed three persons. They fill a cup with fries for one order and then before closing the bag, they top of it off by filling it up with fries. A bit on the overkill side, but I've warned you! So next time you're hankering for a burger, it'll cost you around $6 for the cheeseburger, but every sumptuous bite is one step closer to heaven (probably in more ways than one if you eat too many, cholesterol and all). But on the bright side, it's fun, it's fast and it's American home grown! read more

There's nothing fancy about Five Guys--it's perfectly simple. A sinful indulgence. This is thee burger place ALL casual burger places should strive to be. It's a really basic concept--take a hunk of ground beef (or a double patty), add sliced cheese and ANY toppings you want, then eat. The burgers are kind of greasy--which is what I hear most people complain about. I've had worse though. For instance, a McDonalds Big Mac could be considered greasy and definitely messier, but nobody complains about it. Fact: Five Guys burgers are delightful and tasty. Waaaaay tastier than any fast food joint, including Hardee's (my personal 2nd favorite fast food burger joint), and just a little more expensive if you compare apples to apples. (ie burger size, toppings included, etc) An order of fries can be shared between 2-3 people easily. Tear open the brown bag they're served in and enjoy. Counter service is quick and efficient. As far as chain burger joints go, Five Guys is a pillar. The menu is fairly basic, but they provide many toppings-options for no additional cost, which is awesome. The burgers are messy and delicious - a winning combo, in my opinion. You also have the option of buying a smaller burger or a burger with an additional patty for $1 more, which means that you can have a good burger no matter what appetite you walk in with. The cajun fries are spot-on, as are the regular fries. As a final affectionate touch, 5G provides you with peanuts as you wait! After my boyfriend announced he had a craving, we grabbed Five Guys takeout earlier this week. He had a cheeseburger, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I don't eat red meat, and I am always disappointed by the meager non red meat options here. Instead of an actual veggie burger, they feature a "veggie sandwich" which just includes your choice of burger toppings from the regular menu (grilled mushrooms and onions, lettuce, tomato, etc.) I ended up just eating French Fries (super balanced diet, I know), but they were SO GOOD. Since we were sharing them, I thought I'd get a large order, but it was way too big. We definitely couldn't finish them! Luckily our boxer, Harley, was there to assist. This location is about 2 miles from me so I do eat here on occasion. Food is always fresh and hot, well prepared, and reasonably quick. I've never run into bad service here and the manager on duty, regardless of which manger, always seems to be actively participating in whatever is happening..speaking to customers, engaging in training with employees, etc. Place is usually clean and well stocked. The menu is very limited but everything is very fresh and made to order. It's literally just burgers, hot dogs, frys,soda and peanuts. Toppings are custom with no extra charge. A large fry can easily feed 3-4 people. My boyfriend and I can never finish them. Peanuts are free and take as much as you want. However I could see this being an issue for people with allergies. The only reasons Five Guys didn't rate a 5 star are a) The tables are often not the cleanest and b) the price. It's really very expensive for a burger and frys. It's around $25 for 2 people. We go here maybe once or twice a year to have a good greasy burger and fries. Although you have to wait for your food for a while, it's not long. To go in and grab some peanuts and sit down after ordering is fun. Today we went after I had some tests done and it totally hit the spot. We went at 2pm so the place was fairly quiet. Went to Five Guys for the first time today. The burger was fantastic!! I didn't get anything fancy...just a "little" cheeseburger (single patty) with lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo...but it was super tasty. The pickles were thick and crunchy, and there were a lot of them. The flavor of the meat was much better than most quick service burger places I've been to (esp Mooyah - their meat has a weird taste!). It was the perfect size and super satisfying. The only reason I'm giving Five Guys 4 stars instead of 5 is because the fries were just so-so. Aside from Stock & Barrel (which is the BEST), this is my favorite new place to get a burger in Knoxville! read more

OMG! This place literally just made my day!!!! Let me start by saying I've been to Five Guys once before, but I don't remember my cheeseburger tasting this good. I don't remember feeling that happy bite after bite, and I certainly don't remember the overwhelming joy I felt after I stuffed myself with a standard tomato, lettuce, pickle, mustard, cheeseburger and a bag of fresh cut french fries. I got a wee bit excited and ordered jalapeños that came fresh and pretty hot, but even the spice was awesome. Go in and enjoy, well unless you have a peanut allergy.
