Shout out for Chicago deep dish in Knoxville! Rosati's Pizza deep dish is great! A co-worker from Chicago told us about Rosati's. He said it is a Chicago pizza company. Apparently, they are in other states as well. The crust is delicious, tomatoes taste fresh, the cheese is real, large chunks of Italian sausage, pepperoni cut thin & was all over the pizza, it didn't overwhelm. Everything blended together for great flavor. Now, it's on my list of top 2 pizza places in Knoxville. We ordered our deep dish 40 minutes before leaving our house. They told us it takes 30 minutes to back. When we arrived, our pizza was just getting pulled out & placed on the completed orders rack waiting for us. Others in the restaurant didn't do that & they were seated waiting for their orders. There are only 5 ot 6 tables in the restaurant. This pizza was not very good, and I threw it away. The crust has no flavor, there was an inch of rubbery cheese again no flavor, and the sauce was good but very chunky. My Two sons have wanted us to plan a family trip to Chicago to eat a real authentic deep dish Chicago style pizza. To save on time and money, we decided to drive just 10 minutes to Rosati's Pizza Of Knoxville. We order the deep-fried Chicago style pizza bread sticks with made from scratch Italian marinara sauce. And we sat down and order the deep-dish cheese pizza, my oldest son add chicken on his side of the pizza. My youngest son order pepperoni on his side of the pizza, we waited 37 minutes for the authentic Chicago deep-dish pizza. My wife and I were craving Chicago Style Pizza. I called in an order for pickup for a "large cheese pizza." I picked it up and brought it home. When I opened it, I found a thin crust pizza. I've ordered from Rosati's numerous times, I didn't even know they had a thin crust pizzas and it certainly wasn't discussed on the phone when I placed my order. I called to let them know and was shown zero empathy. The person working asked what I wanted and I told him the pizza I ordered. He then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for a new pizza. Calmly I explained that I didn't even know they had that pizza and we went out of our way to come get Rosati's. He told me sorry and wasn't willing to work with me. My family will never order from Rosati'a again and I strongly encourage anyone reading this to give their money to a better business. The thin crust pizza was basically a frozen pizza. I'm so excited to have a place in Knoxville that offers true Chicago deep dish pizza! Rosati's is awesome. This is the only deep dish pizza I have ever had, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's seriously delicious! They have all different types of pizza, but I've only ever ordered their deep dish pizza because it's so good and super filling! You'll be full after one slice! It is such a treat to eat here and their customer service is really great. The other night we ordered a pizza and they accidentally gave us the wrong one. They told us we could keep both without any extra charges. We had leftover pizza for days! I highly recommend this place. The pizza IS good, the calzones are fairly good; however, the prices on their online menu (which they instruct you to use when you walk in) are not current. The add ons are what get you...I asked for a package of parmesan (& was told it was $1.00 a pack)!!! I doubt we will go back....not because of the taste, but because there's an up charge for EVERYTHING....when it's already pricey to begin with. There's simply too many other places in this town to get pizza. Disappointing. I got a beer next door at the casual pint, and decided to order some pizzas with my beer. While the pizza was OKAY at best, I went back into this establishment to grab some red pepper flakes, the guy behind the counter told me they charge for red pepper flakes. My husband was really excited to try this place. The cost was over $50 (WITH a coupon for one!) on two pizzas (one with one topping- the other with three) I was extremely disappointed. This was my first time trying "Chicago style" pizza it was good, but not as good as I had anticipated. The sauce was flavorful the crust was good and crispy (thick), we added pepperoni. In general i thought there would be a lot more cheese already on it. We did get togo, they had an option for take home and bake yourself or eat in as well. We may try the take home next time. I will come back to try their other pizza's not deep dish. The staff was friendly but not very accommodating he seemed to get flustered when I asked for paper plates and parm to go. We're from the Chicago. When we first moved here, it was a challenge to find what we considered good pizza. There used to be an UNO's in Maryville, so we'd drive down there once in a while. It's gone now, though. When I learned that a new place called Rosati's had opened in West Knox, I called to ask if they were associated with the very popular chain by the same name in Chicago. And they are!!! Their pizza is the same: fabulously delicious! Their stuffed pizza--the kind that made Chicago-style pizza famous--is wonderful. And the staff is terrific, too. Rosati's is a chain of Italian style Chicago pizza restaurants giving the people what they want since the 1960's. I walked over from the Casual Pint one Saturday evening and ordered a 10" Chicago Deep Dish pizza topped with Canadian Bacon. The girl behind the counter was delightful and very helpful. The interior was clean and quaint interior dinning area. Once my order was complete a member of Rosati's staff brought my pizza to me and was very polite. The pizza was great, however I order the Deep Dish and got a Thin Crust. The pizza was wonderful despite the mix up. The pizza was flaky and golden brown. The crust was crisp and had a deliciously crunch. The cheese was creamy and the Canadian Bacon was juicy with a great salty taste. The sauce was original and had a great seasoned tasted with a rich tomato base. I'm looking forward to giving Rosati's another chance, regardless the meal will be good. read more

So my second experience was just as great as my first ..least in Tennessee. I tried a few of their different sandwiches and sides this time. The Rosati sub is a Italian sub at its best..at least what I want out of one. The meatball was good, but I prefer a specific meatball flavor and no place has done that for me. Lastly I got the Italian cheef. Always a good choice. I tried their fries and fried mushrooms. The fries were like McDonald's fries and for 2 dollars you get what is about more than a large fries from McDonald's. I like the fries here as they are a bit softer and not super crispy. The mushrooms are like anywhere else that serves them, but I can say their ranch dip was good and the mushrooms were greasy but breaded well. Also not filled with liquid. So pretty much the best way you can have them come out. Also got a thin crust pizza. I hate thin crust everywhere except here. If you only could choose a topping , go with the Italian sausage. Huge pieces and tasty. Every ingredient on their menu is kind of common but quality is better. read more

Tried it out twice now, both times as carry out, first time the double rolled dough pepperoni and the last time as thin crust black olives, mushrooms, pepperoni and jalapeños, both experiences were outstanding. I'll try out the deep dish eventually but the lower cal pizzas were excellent. My only beef the parking is really bad, between Five Guys and Casual Pint the parking lot is full. Park down below and dodge the cars as they go in and out rapidly filling out about 30 parking spots. read more
