I'm very disappointed with my experience at Firehouse Subs yesterday. I attempted to place an online order multiple times, but the app apparently was not processing it correctly. When I tried again, the app would only allow me to schedule pickup for the next day. I explained the situation in-store to both the manager and an employee, but I felt completely ignored. There was no effort made to help me troubleshoot the app or offer any guidance. I also asked if my free medium sub offer could still be honored given the app issues, but instead of trying to help resolve the situation, I was simply told it could not be verified through the app. I then asked if the order that was scheduled for the next day could just be prepared that evening since the app was clearly malfunctioning, and again I was told no without any attempt to find a solution. After all of that inconvenience and lack of customer service, the food I received was cold. Overall, the customer service, lack of communication, and handling of this situation were extremely disappointing. I expected much better. read more

I placed an order on the app, am pregnant, and hadn't eaten yet today. I went in to pick up my order at 1:40 - approx 15 mins after I had placed my order. I was then told I'd have to wait until 1:50 for the order to be done. so I sat and waited. At 2:10 - 30 mins after I walked into the location - I was told my order was ready and that "it looks like they forgot to call your name" which was a sorry excuse. Genesis & Treveon where both great help in answering my questions before I ordered on DoorDash. They made sure I had extra sauces I did have a hair in one of my sandwiches a long black hair but the other sandwich is great. The cookie was soft and condiments and silverware was all in as I requested. I haven't tried the cookie or chili yet but looking forward to it and I'm sure the staff will replace my sandwich and make it right. read more

Ordered a salad, sandwich, and a kid's combo. The kids combo was literally missing everything but the sandwich. No toy/treat, no drink, no chips or dessert, nothing. When I called to get it resolved, the girl I spoke with told me "well they're super busy," and didn't bother to address the inconvenience whatsoever. She kept interrupting me rudely multiple times and didn't listen to a thing I said because I had to repeat myself. She cut me off and said "we don't provide toys just crispy treats" which was humorous since my daughter received neither. No thank you, we won't be coming back to this location. We really enjoy getting the Sweet Virginia Ham sub sandwich. It is such a good sub. We used the delivery service and everything went well and it was delivered in a timely manner. The order was accurate as well. We ordered online and the entire process was easy and smooth. If they would just bring back the chili, that would be just great. The owner never the less made it right for me WITHOUT getting paid. Tremendous service on his part. I logged the issue and hopefully the money made it's way to him and the tip to his employees. Just got home from there and of course my sandwich was wrong AGAIN! I forgot to check the bag before we left because every single time we go my sandwich is always wrong. I don't know why I continue to go there... oh yea my husband likes to go there. I ordered a sandwich with no Mayo, no deli mustard but extra Italian dressing and extra seasoning. Opened it up, bottom of the sandwich was soggy... I'm guessing it was from the pickle juice from the pickle they had in there. Absolutely no Italian dressing and absolutely no seasonings. I mean, you had 20 minutes to make my sandwich not sure how you can screw up something so easy. Have you ever eaten a dry sandwich with absolutely no condiments on it... blah. Put in an Uber eats order for a buy one get one free deal. The bill came to $58 after we ordered 2 orders so something seemed strange right off hand. When the order arrived there were only two sandwiches at the front door. The wife called Firehouse and talked to the Manager named Hunter. Hunter asked a few questions and told the wife of the error and told her to come back and get the two sandwiches owed and an extra sandwich for the mistake. She told him she wasn't going out at this time because of the traffic and would it be ok if she came in to Firehouse the next day. He said absolutely and she went in and got the sandwiches today. Hats off to Hunter for his handling of this situation. We are now Firehouse regulars. Thanks Hunter. Also, of note is this place is spotless and the employees are very friendly. Ordered the new triple stack sub. Its supposed to come with ham, turkey, brisket, and cheese. When I get home, there is barely any brisket, no ham, turkey, or cheese. Pickles were ordered for a few sandwiches and none were received. Asked for no tomatoes during online ordering and got tomatoes anyway. When I walked in the other day there was 5-6 workers behind the counter. There was 2 tables of people already with their food and 1 person waiting for their food. When I approached the register it was over a minute before I was even acknowledged and then almost another minute before someone came to actually take my order (in this time the one person waiting for their food got their order and left the store). Once I did have my order placed (a medium sandwich, a large sandwich, and a cup of soup) I was waiting for almost 20 minutes before I was given my food. I understand lunch rush and would be more forgiving if I saw a lot of take out orders, but I saw a maximum of 2 other orders being prepared at the same time as mine, and nothing was placed on the to-go order shelf in that time. For having so many people behind the counter there is no reason it should have taken as long as it did. The soup was good, but the sandwich was not as good as it usually was. read more

Went in for the 1st time since moving to Maricopa. The place was clean and was greeted with a "Welcome to Firehouse" within seconds after opening the door. It was a friday night and the restaurant was pretty empty. They did have drivers waiting for to go orders. A very kind and sweet woman took my order. She was very friendly and helpful. She gave a time frame I would have my order within. The sandwich was made to my likings and was correct. So I had a great experience at this location.
