We are visiting Tulsa and decided to wander around the city. This microcreamery is hidden on the second story of a group of shops made up of shipping containers. Rose Rock has a variety of flavors, some common and many that you would not find at your local ice cream shop. My son went with vanilla and I grabbed a root beer float. They both were incredibly tasty. Yes, the ice cream is more expensive than your typical ice cream shop but it is not your typical ice cream. read more

Came here for a quick snack on my way out of Tulsa , and it was worth the detour! First, the location is quite "cool", with a lot of neat shops at the Boxyard to explore while munching on your ice cream. And it will take you at least a few minutes to devour the amount of ice cream they give you (I had the two scoop option, in a waffle cone). Second, ice cream is good! Really enjoyed the safe pecan and Vietnamese coffee choices I made. Third, service is friendly and efficient. Finally, the price is right. For my large helping of ice cream, I only spent a little over $6! Definitely would On my way back next time I am craving a creamy treat in Tulsa. Great job starting this shop. read more

I give this 3.5 of 5 stars, sorry. I'd love to give this 5 stars, but I can't lie. This place is very uniques, and it is on the second floor of a bunch shipping containers. They use a handcrafting their delicious flavors and high qualities. The prices are too expensive a bit if you can afford. This was hell happened to me, I saw they were ads on Facebook from my feed new. I was hyper-excited that ice cream with the classic looks like good. After my boyfriend and I drove in there and I actually didn't notice that menu's and my eyes were a very bad vision. Instead of looking at these different flavors. I ordered cookies and Oreos in the bottom and vanilla on the top of the waffle cone. In a few couple minutes later, I can tell that I'm bloating and gurgling the sound in my belly. I realized that they are SO dairies caused me worse then I decided to ran outside to find the restroom. I learned from online and it mentioned, "All natural fresh dairy" I'm very just disappointed when nobody ever asked me that these are flavors are all whole of these dairies. I decided to stop coming here for reasons that I have a lactose intolerant. If you have a lactose intolerant, then you need to get some dairy relief. This is in a really cool area, the BoxYard, in Tulsa. When I went, only the Microcreamery was open, but all the shops look really cool. You can sample all the flavors (and they are all unique!) and get your ice cream several ways (in a cookie sandwich, in a waffle sundae bowl, etc). It's fun for a different experience-you definitely feel like a hipster hanging out in a shipping container ordering lavender earl grey ice cream! read more

Awesome stuff here! I don't event know that I call it ice cream it's more of an experience...fresh and you can tell it's made in small batches it's all wonderful. I quite enjoyed their dairy free options. The red bean ice cream was very good, the banana pudding I sampled is amazing (not dairy free though) The wife enjoyed hers but wishes the ingredients for the chocolate raspberry would have been fresher. The texture for all the ice cream was perfect, but the raspberries were the typical artificial/preserved/fake tasting kind. We believe they can do better (their other flavors show it). We will be back! read more

This place was awesome and the location was really neat. It's tucked on the second level of a a group of establishments made up of shipping containers. They have lots of options and let you sample before choosing. Ice cream and sorbet were made with fresh ingredients and were delicious. You have to give this place a try. There is a deck area with chairs where you can enjoy your ice cream and downtown Tulsa. read more

Had an opportunity to visit this evening after landing in Tulsa for the 2019 Thanksgiving vacation with family. Amazing ice cream. I chose two (2) of the vegan options of the day: Banana and Chocolate. My daughter chose the Banana Pudding and I believe, the Pecan Pie. This is most definitely a two ($$) dollar creamery, but worth a try. I will say that I felt as though the representatives of the company don't often run into African American customers based upon their expression, rush to get us through the non-line, lack of enthusiasm to answer questions about the flavors and unwillingness to offer lids for the two (2) additional to-go orders. Either way, great ice cream, and you should give it a try. $23 worth of ice cream, and I did also leave a tip just to prove that a customer of color is worth serving! Happy Thanksgiving. read more

Love the ice cream! Got four huge scoops and they were all good. Tiramisu had chunks of cake (lady fingers). Honey Lavender tasted fruity. Pistachio had pistachios in it. The vegan chocolate is AMAZING!! I was never a big on ice cream growing up so switching to a plant based diet and saying good bye to ice cream wasn't a big deal. My husband on the other hand misses it all the time. I decided to stop by here and try their vegan chocolate and vegan rose flavors and it did not disappoint! I actually crave ice cream now. Also they give you huge scoops so the price is worth it. I live a couple blocks from the location so I'm sure I'll be there all summer read more

This is my favorite ice cream shop in town. Note, there is not a Marble Slab in town. The ice cream is superb, service is great & the view of Downtown from the second floor is excellent. Parking isn't great, but it isn't horrible either. It's in "The Boxyard". read more

What a treat indeed! They have the most unique flavors and you can taste any one of them, my personal favorite was the lavender honey however I ended up getting the sage pecan. They use compostable bowls and stainless steel reading spoons to do their share in sustainability for our Earth. Be warned, the small is TWO scoops and could've easily been shared! read more

I would have loved to have some actual chunks of honeycomb mixed in, but the honeycomb flavor still came through nicely, and there was a swirl in the ice cream that added to it. Overall, it was a really delicious scoop and felt well worth it. I visited on a Thursday afternoon around 3:00 p.m., and it was already fairly busy with families, moms, and young kids. I imagine it gets even busier in the evenings, especially during the summer after dinner. Overall, it is a neighborhood-friendly spot with great ice cream and a fun neighborhood feel.

I honestly don't know which one they put on this, but it's always the same and it's delicious! If you come at lunchtime, there's always gonna be a little bit of a wait. Steph is OK here, I wouldn't say that they stand out as being friendly or unfriendly, just pretty neutral. I think that they're eventually gonna have to expand someway, or move locations. It's just really good and it stays busy and pretty full. The soda all has natural cane sugar, so if that matters, you can get that here.
