I will refer my family and friends ! Just found my new dentist!! Second time coming here and again it was a very pleasant experience! I came here for the first time 2 weeks ago for a toothache I called in the morning and they were able to see me the same day later in the afternoon. Love that already! I get here today for a root canal (sadly :c) Dr. Samet did a great job. I barely felt anything. I didn't feel rushed, I wasn't pressured to get anything else done (like my previous experiences elsewhere). They didn't try to sell me anything else other than what I needed. All the other workers were kind and knowledgeable. I said I was going to leave a review the first time I came but I completely forgot but I couldn't let it slide this time around again! Update: after standing my ground, I finally got my 10%. That I was promised. Working with the bank it took a process, but the old loan was canceled so we can reflect the new amount. Unfortunately, with the bank, they needed a few days for it to finalize the cancellation before I can reapply for that amount. In the interim, I advise the dental office of that and in intern they gave me a demand that I had 24 hours to get it done or pay them in full. How inappropriate can that be when we're talking days to get it done and they're demanding a 24 hour turnaround. I finally got it done, but it took two days. I will never step foot in that place again, because they don't care about you. They only care about money no respect. And Elizabeth, the gal behind the desk, she's a façade. She acts like she wants to help you, but she was being very rude and demanding that I must pay in 24 hours. They got paid but it took 2 1/2 days for the bank to clear everything. Not only do they oversell services, but they treat Customer like a piggy bank. Go to another dentist it is not worth going to them. My son and I will find another dentist that is more reputable and care about their clients. read more

We wanted a new dentist as ours just retired, so we decided to try this place since it's very close to our house, and they claim to take children as well. I don't know what the dr's name is (I thought I heard Dr. Ruben but couldn't confirm as his name is not anywhere associated with the office--forms, website, nothing). He was condescending and arrogant, spoke to me like I had never been to a dentist before and brushed my teeth with high fructose corn syrup. Terrible interaction. Said I had many small cavities, which is possible but he was so dismissive I lost interest in hearing what he had to say. I already didn't trust him. Reading other people's reviews, this seems to be how they operate. Considering I had x-rays within the year at my old dentist, I find this suspicious. One cavity, maybe, but many? I don't think so. I also asked about bringing my daughter since they advertise pediatric dentistry as well. He asked how cooperative she is...uh, do you treat children or not?! Should probably stop advertising if you're not capable of pediatric dentistry. From the moment I walked in, Nancy at the front desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming--she made the check-in process smooth and answered all my questions with patience and a smile. Dr. Samet was excellent--thorough, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Treatment plan was inaccurate and could have damaged my future oral health as a patient. The standard of practice is not good and was apparent when I visited another dentist since I had to get another dental cleaning because the cleaning I got here a month ago was not good (as stated by my new dentist). They spent less than 10 minutes doing my cleaning at this location. My treatment plan here was 2 root canals and multiple cavity fillings but turns out I only need a crown and 1 filling. I advise you to please visit another dentist for a second opinion and see the difference in treatment plan + cost for the sake of your oral health and finances. Also a background that I have been visiting this dental practice since I was a kid (10+ years) but there is new staff now that do not have the patients best interest at heart. read more

i recently came to this place because it is close to my house. The dentist here said that i have multiple root canels that needed to be done along side with cavites that need to be fixed. i thought it was very strange since i take care of my teeth really well. they quoted me 3500 on top of what my insurence would cover. i then left with the quote and wen to my regular dentist whose been a dentist for 35 years and he told me that i dont have any cavities and definitly dont need root canels done. i believe that dentist was trying to scam me for money and work that i didnt need done and will be reporting them to the better bussiness bureau. dont come to this shady place. read more

Think I found a new place I can call home. All the employees are extremely nice and friendly. During the routines, they would let me know exactly what they are working on and checking to see if I'm feeling any pain. Went in for a cleaning and they forgot to do my daughters cleaning. How do you forget that!!! They did mine and it was the worst cleaning of my life. They were so rough, scrapped like crazy and my teeth were super sensitive after. read more

I would NOT recommend coming here if you have kids. They told me I had to wait outside the building while my kids gets a cleaning and x ray. I used to go a pediatric dentist on woodruff called children's happy teeth and I loved them! They never told me to wait outside the building,and did the same procedures. The ONLY reason I came here was because my husbands job assigned us this place. Mind you my kids are only four and three. I didn't even go through with the appointment because who the hell leaves their kids alone with a stranger especially with pedophiles out there. I have trust issues I'm sorry, I'm that mom. Came in a few times for cleaning, x-rays, and fillings. I really liked it at first when I had Dr. Lu as my dentist. I think that was his name, but then I found out he moved to Chicago. He was very attentive and always explained step by step what he was doing. It helped me to be at ease knowing what he was doing and knowing what was next. Afterwards, I was being seen by Dr. Wu. She was okay, but I wasn't as comfortable with her as I was with my other dentist. All in all, it was okay though. But then something happened that kind of turned me away from this place. Long story short, I got braces put on in TJ and I didn't like the work they were doing. I discontinued going there and started going to this dentist for everything other than braces. I hesitated on whether I wanted braces or not, but just recently asked them if they could remove my brackets on the bottom (mind you, no wire or bands have been on them for 2+ years) and they told me I needed a release form from the dentist who put them on to "pass over orthodontic services" in a sense. But this wasn't to continue orthodontic work, and they weren't terminating any orthodontic work. I just wanted to remove brackets that were simply not doing ANYTHING! They assured me that no one was going to take off the brackets without a release form. And it made no sense to me because 1) it's a dentist in TJ and 2) I didn't even have complete braces on. Just brackets. But anyway, the dentist I'm seeing now took them off in our first visit, so I'm grateful for that. I appreciate the work this place has done, but I wish they could've better served me. Will not be going back. First they keep you waiting because they overbook. I went in to finish the job they started and they told me it was $200 more than agreed upon previously. When I tried to explain about my payment plan set up, they said they don't accept payment plans and that the girl who set up my payment plan was no longer working there (convientient). Last the women who work in the office had so much makeup on, they looked very unprofessional. I would not reccomend going to this dentist office. read more

Having a receptionist that acts like they want your business would go a long way. I am just as underwhelmed as I was 10+ years ago when I was briefly a patient there for crowns and the 'trainee' who was removing them turned the plaster mold of my teeth over and attempted to remove the upper crowns instead of the lower that were to be replaced. Crowns that did not last BTW,. Ill mannered staff, ill trained staff and cheap materials at a price too high to justify. My current dentist is my old dentist 77 miles away and it is worth the drive. read more

Total rip off!!! My first visit February claimed I had cavities and needed a deep cleaning that came out to $730!! Insane I have damn good teeth and never have been told that. I over hear the dr being a bully with the next patient next to me that he needs this and that and the amount like wow. I refused and just wanted my regular teeth cleaning that he finally gave in to give me. Now 8 months later with a new dentist he tells me I'm farrrrrrr from needing a deep teeth cleaning and have no cavities! Wow I'm glad I knew my stuff and had a second opinion. If something doesn't seem right don't go along with it because people just want to take advantage of new patients. read more

This dental group has rude receptionist and a terrible customer service attitude. I called to find out how long it would be until I could get an appointment, I told the receptionist that I was going to switch to this office and that I had an emergency. She told me I could get an appointment the next day. I called my insurance and switched to this office, and when I called to make an appointment, I was told that they wouldn't see me until after August 1st, even though my insurance company had made my effective date 07/01/2013. Even though I am eligible, and the insurance would pay claims, she told me it is their policy not to accept patients whose insurance company has back dated the effective date, even though, I am fully eligible for benefits with their office back dated to 07/01/2013. Then, the receptionist, hung up on me. RUDE SERVICE and irresponsible policies. THIS DENTAL OFFICE CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. Do not see this dentist, I highly advise against it. read more

This place is ABSOLUTELY the worst dentist I've ever gone to. I would go to Smile Care Dentist before ever going back to this place. I went in on the 29th of April gave them my card and the receptionist asked did I have the white card they couldn't accept the card I gave them and showed me a med-i-cal card and asked if I had that card I told them I have Blue Shield. Next they took x-rays and said they couldn't pull the teeth I needed an oral surgeon and Blue Shield would sent me the referral after waiting almost a month Blue Shield said no Rosecrans Dental would do that. I called them and I literally had an argument with 2 people about who was suppose to give me the referral. Bad service and even worst customer service. YES I'm changing dentist!! read more

All these bad reviews are not true...The office never cancels an appointment without calling the patient to let them know they have to reschedule....and the staff are friendly and helpful they even let the parents go in the room with their child so the child will be more comfortable as opposed to other offices where they don't let anyone go in the rooms....
