I have been coming to this dentist's office since I was a little girl when it was called Doctor Wylan's Dentistry. Since then, there has been a new owner named Doctor Tsibel who is awesome. He gives the same quality of care as the previous owner. Dr. Tsibel is caring, funny, and personable and cares about his patient's teeth. His staff is outstanding. They are very helpful, kind and hard-working. This is the only dentist's office I have been to my entire life. They do great work and have reasonable prices for cosmetic work. They take all insurance and have payment plans. They do crowns, X-rays, fillings, braces, dentures, root canals, etc. Plenty of free parking in front of the dentist's office. I love it here. Doctor Tsibel makes my teeth healthy and smiling bright. Note: Doctor Joseph is my favorite for getting a crown done. Doctor Tsibel has other offices in Cypress, Long Beach, and Pasadena. read more

Bellflower Dental will get your dental needs taken care of but I can't help but feel that they over- accessed and overcharged me. The dental techs are all great, the dentists are good, it's just one woman in the office / admin that is not very pleasant. On multiple occasions she wanted me to rush into decisions and spend a lot of money out of the pocket without getting a second opinion. I did not allow her to pressure me, went to another local dentist, and received a more reasonable treatment plan. 2nd issue with a different crown they did for me. I paid out of pocket for root canal. And crown. The dentist crowned the tooth with bacteria/cavity still there. This place has an amazing staff but their system is the worse! I made an appointment at 10am, they called us up to confirm who we are at 10:28am, it is now 10:38 and we haven't gotten our X-ray yet. Every single time I come here I spend a minimum of 2 hrs. They over book for the amount of staff they have, they end up playing catch up all day because of scheduling appointments they cannot honor time for. They have plenty of time to call me every day, multiple times a day to confirm my appointment but cannot honor my time of the appointment. It is now 12:21 and I am still here. read more

Well, it was about that time again. Check-up time and man, I failed drastically. My last visit was in 2019 and that was hard but the hard work could have been avoided this go around if I would have kept up with my visits. Maria C. Was so awesome when she did my x-rays. She communicated very well with me. She knows how to put patients at ease. On December 23rd old fillings were taken out and re-done with the good stuff. Dr. Kim along with his assistant Gale did a wonderful job in getting that task done. What I respect about Dr. Kim is that he explained the procedure to me and explained that the material they used back in the 90's (and yes my fillings were that old) worked but at the same time the material would expand in your tooth in reaction to hot food and or liquids. In turn with time the material would cause your tooth to crack. He managed to catch it before it could. A small crack was forming. He numbed my gums very good. He checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I didn't feel any pain. He did a very good job. Heidi (not sure what's the name of her position) explained to me patiently what's going on with my teeth. She really made me feel involved. She took colored photos of my teeth and explained the work that needs to be done and why. Then I had half of my teeth deep cleaned by Angie R. She was very good. Patient and full of compassion. The whole dentist team has been working very hard during this month due to members trying to jump in at last minute to use up their benefits before the new year. (This includes me). She numbed me up as well and paid attention to my pain meter throughout the procedure as well. These team members treat their patients like family members. I feel safe with all of them. Today, December 30th, I was scheduled for deep cleaning on the other side of my mouth. I was in for a surprise. I was pleased with Angie's work so much that when this appointment was made I requested her. Well, as I mention, all the staff were very busy so I decided I'll take whoever would do the work. That's when I met Daniel G. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. I lost Ann Kim from 2019 and I was getting used to Angie so by this time I'm feeling like plaqued orphan. Well, after he introduced himself he began to get started but was very attentive and patient. I decided to bring some ear plugs this time to block out the sound of the drill. It worked perfectly by the way. Daniel was gentle and efficient. He reminded me so much of my Ann Kim. He made sure my mouth was numb throughout the procedure and at times actually had me laughing. I never thought I'll see the day when I didn't see a dentist as an enemy. He was another who explained the procedure and why it was needed. He even explained the difference between the scraper and that noisy drill. It seems as if once something is explained to you, it puts you at ease. I got his advice on the dental floss I decided on and he approved. It's something about using expanding floss that helps remove the plaque even better. I left this afternoon very happy and as if I belong. I had to take a photo with the very one who started it all - Dr. Tsibel. I'm very appreciative of my new dental home and hope we can continue our relationship next year. read more

Whatever procedure you need you're better off at another place. Came here to get a gum graft because one of my roots is exposed and the graft failed, it fell out a couple days after the procedure, even the stitches fell out. Nobody listened, they were not able to get a hold of my surgeon at all... Saw my own dentist and he confirmed I needed to get root coverage because otherwise I'll have other problems in the future. Then over a month after the surgery I saw Dr Hunt (another periodontist) and he confirmed the graft failed. Finally saw Dr Hanasabi (the one who did the surgery) and he tries to convince me that the graft was successful even though there was zero root coverage. In fact I really think it looks worse than it did before. Low key about to sue these people for patient abandonment/neglect/malpractice. read more

The number of bumbling errors from this place are far too many to list. They include almost taking out the wrong tooth on my son, to scheduling a surgery that we waited 2 hours for (with no one checking on us) just for the dentist to cancel, forcing us to reschedule at her convenience which delayed ortho treatment that they want us to pay $2k for, even after having us receive a second opinion from one of their other dentists who flat out stated the delay in the surgery is what caused the expansion of treatment and they were only willing to take off $500. I loved this place when we first came but I have been left with the only choice to determine that horrible service is their make-up. I've never been to an establishment where I have had this much consistency in horrible service. What makes it worse is, I actually work in Healthcare, specifically in terms of patient access, experience and continuity of care and never and I mean NEVER would I settle for this type of service in any of the sites. I have referred people here in the past and I have had several conversations with the management. It's so bad that you would think if they were going to get ONE patient right, it would be me! I didn't want to write this review but I just couldn't let it continue. Though the Orthodontic dept. is in the same building, they absolutely do NOT talk. My husband has personally spoken to the owner Dr. Tsibel and though attempts were made to rectify the MANY issues, we just kept having issues! Briefly talked about my wisdom teeth which was my main focus. After, I was told to talk to some other lady. So pulled me into the room and said I needed about $11k of work. Told me not to worry, because they work with bunch of banks. I left and never went back. Purely business and money focused. They couldn't care less about your health and well being. I went to this dental office for treatment and because I can't pay them 1,433.00 up front they have REFUSED TO TREAT ME. All I asked was for them to perform my double root canal today and I can pay them in full tomorrow but they said NO and I'm in excruciating pain but they don't care.
