It was ok. We got create your own pizza. Pizza comes in one size and its 12". Crust is thin crust and honestly for the price the toppings were lacking. Thanks to Groupon I didn't spend full Price here or I would have been very upset. Easy fix would just be to just put more of the toppings i chose. If you get 2 toppings it should have more than the pizza that only had one. Not equal. Maybe when the snow birds leave prices change. We probably wont check. The Meatballs and spaghetti with marinara was very good. The dish was not overly seasoned with garlic, like some Italian restaurants do thinking garlic is the main ingredient in an Italian dish. My husband and I came here last night and had the margarita pizza with Italian bacon and pineapple. It was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is great! The servers are always attentive to refilling our drinks, very nice and friendly. The food comes out fast, no waiting time. They give you bread with olive oil while you wait on food. Place is clean! We always visit Rosedale when we are in Naples. It has always been one of our favorites for Pizza. But the last two times were disappointment. The crust was definitely not the same did not taste like brick oven pizza. I got the sausage and spinach pizza and you could barely find the sausage on the pizza and when you did it was slice so thin with a slicer it was smaller than a piece of pepperoni and thinner too. The salad was not even green it was mostly white and yellow lettuce leaves. I was very disappointed. Don't think will be visiting them next time we go down there. read more

Food here is spectacular. We've been here several times, and were looking forward to the lunch. When we arrived, the waitress came up to the hostess station and was clearly frazzled when we said we were a party of 4. She looked around for her co-worker, who came out after a few minutes. We again indicated we were a party of 4 and would like to sit at the booth. It wasn't cleared yet, so we said we were ok to wait until it was ready (mind you, there were a total of maybe 5 tables sat in the entire restaurant, so by no means rush hour). Clearly annoyed, she snatched up a rag and the spray bottle and complied. We sat, and the waitress passed by us about 4 times in 10 minutes, without so much as an acknowledgment. Finally, what seemed to be the manager, stepped up to the table with a pen and a pad and stared at the table. We figured he was there to take our order, even though he hadn't spoken a word. We called out our orders and the food came. We didn't see anyone again, until we were done, to clear out our plates. Now, you'll notice I still gave a 4 star rating- The food is spectacular and I won't abandon the restaurant after one bad experience. But clearly the staff was not prepared for the day and the management wasn't either. read more

Easy to find a seat during lunch time- really it was empty when I got there and to be fair it was an early lunch (12:00. I usually go at 1p), friendly but definitely not what you would call overly attentive staff, open kitchen w brick oven for crispy crust. I had a veggie hot sandwich and a cup of soup (White bean) and an Iced Tea. The soup was great and hearty without being overpowering. My sandwich was really more of a Calzone because it was baked in their pizza dough in the brick oven. i t was very good but rather light on the cheese. I'm a harsh pizza critic, and have consumed Jersey shore (Mac and Mancos) and Philly (Lorenzo's) pizzas in disturbing quantities. I struggled when I moved here recently to find a decent bagel and pizza. I normally order the margherita which is good, but decided to go wild this evening and order the "New York." Well it has my vote of confidence and I will be reordering again and again. If you are a fan of thinner, plain crust, no funny stuff, no jar spicies dumped on for you, and extra crap, this is your pie. Love this place! It has that rustic, Italian vibe that i've been searching for! The open kitchen layout makes it pretty interesting to dine in. My family and i usually sit at the kitchen-side counter top and love watching them prep. If i had special credentials or something, i'd vote it "Best Pizza in Naples".... but since i don't i'll just Yelp it. Average bill for 4 people is about $40, not bad for brick oven pizza. food is okay, but a 45 minute delay and a surly owner who refused to acknowledge a screw up with our order (many other diners were served before we found out ours was not filled) and never even apologized means we will NOT be returning. After living in NYC for 10 years I always wanted to find New York City style pizza in Florida. Nothing really came close until I went to Rosedale. I don't know if it's the bread, the sauce, the cheese, or a combination of all three but this pizza was absolutely fantastic. It was piping hot and it was delicious. We also ordered chicken Parmigiana which was fantastic, and had similar flavoring to the pizza. I will definitely go back when visiting Naples again! read more

We actually have been coming here for years. The rolls are the first turn off. Like very doughy. Seems like. Salad mista is excellent, and the clams with linguine really good! This was our favorite Italian in town and before the other night would've given a 5star rating but after the other night we are unfortunately done. So we go the other night thinking we could get the pizza that they advertised on instagram that morning. Well we asked about it and the waitress never heard about it and the cooks looked lost also(we sat at the counter). Our waitress asked who I believe to be the owners daughter, and she said ohhh that's only when we have it on special. We respond saying well you posted it on IG earlier, and we get a "sorry". Ok that's fine as anything there is delicious. Our waitress was acting like she was slammed(only a few tables at this moment) and hardly came over to us as my husband was waiting forever for a refill and had to walk over to the "bar" area and ask for it. Anyway, we finally get our check and she brings a pizza box for leftovers and at the same time a cockroach falls from the box. We were all in shock and told one of the cooks and he killed it. Our waitress did ask if we wanted another pizza but we declined. So she took a pizza off our bill which we appreciated. We understand it's Florida but still after eating we were all disgusted. So later that night my husband writes something saying false advertising on the garlic knot pizza post and who ever responds starts to argue with him saying yes it is on special but if you asked for it they would've made it for us. What?!?! That's what I thought we did?! Also they say that they've made 2 that day upon request. Ummmm the cooks had no clue about that pizza! So did they really make it? And why then would you not make it for us? Well the comments of course got deleted from IG saying that post was a false advertisement. I'm very sad we won't be going back as it is delicious but with what went on other night between everything, we won't be supporting them anymore. read more

I was surprised how busy this place was at 8:15pm when they close at 9! My party of five waited maybe 15 minutes for a table around this time. The menu says the pizza serves 1-2, but I lean more towards 2-3, and only 2 if you're really hungry. As a party of five, we ordered 3 pies and had trouble finishing them all, but finally did as we couldn't take home leftovers as it was our last night in town. Free fresh rolls come out before your meal, and we all enjoyed the olive oil mixture with spices for dipping. The pizzas were mostly hits with one miss. We ordered a margherita, the Italiano, and the chicken rustica. My brother ate most of the margherita accompanied per his order with a Caesar salad. The salad was rather large for a simple side. He said the pizza was "ok", which from him is a testament that it was quite tasty (as the empty plate would suggest) as he is extremely critical of everything and isn't afraid to hide his Bostonian mentality towards things. My mom and dad shared the Italiano (Marzano tomatoes, Italian sausage, red peppers, pepperoni, and mozzarella) and loved it. I tried one bite and it was very flavorful and had a nice kick. So my pizza order..... I thought it wasn't terrible but I was fully outvoted on this by my boyfriend, who is still giving me a hard time for ordering this pizza and "forcing" him to eat it 3 days later. In his words, "it was terrible and I absolutely despised it. If I wanted a salad, I would have ordered a salad". The chicken rustica was described as grilled marinated chicken, fresh mozzarella, roasted garlic, provolone, fresh basil, topped with chopped romaine and Parmesan. For the record, balsamic vinegar is also atop the romaine which does add a nice tart flavor to the pie. I would have preferred the balsamic drizzled on prior to topping the pie with romaine personally. The pie was severely lacking flavor- it was a white pie which I normally don't prefer and had it been advertised as such, I would not have ordered it. I suggest they split their pizzas into "red sauce" and "white sauce" to make this distinction prominent. The amount of romaine on the pizza was insane- I've had several prosciutto and arugula pies with 1/3 of the greens that was on this pie. My boyfriend insists he misread the description (saying he saw spinach not romaine) because he would have never gone along with this choice otherwise. He still powered through(yep, still hearing about it) though and ate 3.5 slices to my 2.5. Since the margherita and Italiano were, apparently, quite tasty, I believe this was a case of misordering. If I am in an area of Florida again that has this small chain, I will gladly seek them out and order something different as I love brick fired oven pizza. Also, I managed to convince my chain-loving family to eat here over CPK so that in and of itself is noteworthy! read more

I stoped here for lunch mid week, the place was not crowded, I placed my order in a timely fashion, then the waiting began. I waited for a half hour as the surrounding tables became occupied, finished their meals and left, still no pizza for me. Eventually the young male waiter comes to check on us and asks if we got our pizza, the answer was NO. The waiter forgot to put our order in, the pizza maker had to rush and make it for us. After another long wait, we got raw pizza. There was no manger on duty, just cooking staff, a horrible young male waiter and a disinterested waitress. Please save your money and eat elsewhere. I'm amazed how the owner will not address the poor tasting sauce ( burnt), the Fried Ravioli that had the texture of shoe leather, The lack of help (waiters/ waitresses) to alleviate pressure on the ONE waiter working his butt off and finally the cook who complained to no one in particular about how miserable he was !! Best Italian food in Naples! My husband and I have been ordering to-go food for our family lately due to the pandemic and have not been pleased with the places in Naples. Luckily, we found Rosedale! Ordered a couple pizzas, kids pasta and muscles appetizer. The food was delicious and full of flavor, still hot when we arrived to pick up. Had a 20 minute ride home, heated the food up like we normally do when taking -out. Tasted amazing. Happy to see that all servers, cooks and owner were wearing masks.
