Rose lily was a very delightful and unique experience. We did the 6 course meal and we were served a variety of different foods and flavors. The service staff was friendly and I appreciated how they helped you understand each dish and made sure you knew what you were eating. The inside of the restaurant is very romantic and dark with dim lit lighting. They were also very accommodating to dietary restrictions or concerns. Only giving it a 4 because I felt like I could've eaten a little more, portions are small, but overall it was a wonderful experience that I would recommend, especially for anniversaries or birthdays. The staff signed a card for us celebrating our anniversary which was a tasteful touch.

This restaurant sits in a very unassuming building and location, but it's one of those restaurants you can't help but come back to. As you walk inside, it feels a little bit like home. It's cozy, the lights are a little dimmer, and the staff is so kind. There are a few tables all situated in the same area but you can also choose to eat at the bar, with an amazingly nice and kind bartender to keep you company. We tried the Chef's special and let me tell you, it definitely was special. All of the flavors complimented each other so well, and even though there were some foods/flavors I don't typically prefer, the dish was made so well that I had to eat it all. The cadence of the dishes coming to the table were at a good pace and our waitress was very attentive the entire evening. The gnocchi was to die for and the Hamachi base needs to be bottled up and sold separately. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here and trying out the Chef's tasting menu when you have the chance!

We came to Roselily this past weekend. Once you get in, you're warmly greeted. As you're seated you walk past the open kitchen, and are introduced to the chefs as you walk past. This is a very cozy space. Maybe 15 tables, plus bar seating. The food! A sampling of apps. Oysters on the half shell (great). Mushroom pate (rich and luxurious). Steak tartare (wonderful). The show stopper was the spaetzle in a tomato and cauliflower sauce, with lobster. This looked like no other spaetzle we've seen. It was simply fantastic. And there was a good amount of lobster. Two ordered the branzino, two of us the ribeye. Our server recommended the ribeyes at medium rare, which is how I like it anyway. The steak was excellent, and the shio kombu butter on top was just perfect. A few sides of potato pave to go along. Those needed salt (plus I like pepper). Everything else was perfectly done. The desert menu was underwhelming for our likes Service was a bit spotty. It really slowed towards the end. What we didn't like was the two unisex restrooms. There is no separation from the dining area and where those are located. We'll be back. Wonderful food, super friendly staff. Plus a 6 course chef's tasting menu looks like fun.

Everything was beautiful about the evening, quite fantastic upscale ambience with a great server and Sam and Rafael, drinks were really good. I had coffee Negro and old-fashioned wine is good. M For some reason my last review didn't post, so I'll tag along our new review for march 6.2026 Loved the ambiance, little bus today but it's Saturday! Jack our server was awesome made great recs for dinner, desert and wine! I tried a Spanish wine, Chocolate with mango sorbet as dessert (very interesting and tasty) and their chicken dish. Just authentic delicious food!!

everyone is always SO friendly and the restaurant has a cozy ambiance. although they could stand to turn the lighting up a little. i got the tasting menu which was mostly good except i really didn't like the duck confit which was burnt and spicy in a bad way. but they rotate the tasting menu dishes so i'm guessing that the duck isn't a permanent fixture (phew)

Food is amazing, it's incredible to see south bend transform into a creative food scene. Growing up in this Midwest city I wasn't accustomed to niche or locally supportive food concepts that boasted fresh local ingredients like Roselily. It's refreshing to see restaurants and customers wanting to make healthier choices, and with that comes menus that rotate often to boast the best produce and new flavors. Delish meal is always in store for you here!

Yeah this place doesn't just know food, it respects food at such a deep level that I feel unworthy to even write this review. Magnificent flavors. Such fastidious devotion to construction. Inviting dishes. Warm atmosphere. Clean, bright, powerful. Premier service. You must go. Top restaurant in South Bend.

Celebrated our anniversary at Roselily warm atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious, expertly prepared dishes. The wine pairing was perfect. A true hidden gem in South Bend!

First experience here with a friend and we each got the tasting menu. From start to finish it was the perfect dinner paired quite well with a smooth Riesling through the night. 12/10

Everyone was so kind and hospitable. The restaurant itself was very cozy and I enjoyed being there. As far as food, I loved everything I ate. I tried (over 3 meals) the pretzels, burrata, steak frites, the burger, Brussels sprouts, creamed spinach, sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese, and the French dip. Everything was so yummy! The Mac and cheese needed some salt but otherwise everything was 10/10. I can't wait to return!

You drive up to the awning and a valet opens the gates for you to park. We had reservations. It was very crowded. I am told it's not typically that crowded. It was hard to hear it was so loud. Menu is large. Prices are higher. Be ready. I got the large chopped salad. It wasn't that large for $18. I changed out the dressing to ranch because I did not want the garlic salad dressing. Glad I did. The salad was ok. The salami was smokey it added to the veggies. But for the price it was small and disappointing. 2 people got the prime rib sandwich and it was pretty sloppy. It's better to eat with a knife and fork. I was told it was good. The sweet potato fries have cayenne pepper on them. The chopped salad with tofu was also disappointing. The tofu had a weird bbq type sauce. The server was nice and she was fine. The atmosphere is more high scale. Just disappointed in the taste of the food and portion to cost. Cool experience being on campus but you're paying for it.

We got there around 5:00 PM while things were just getting busy. It had a nice vibe to it. You could tell people enjoy coming here. I started off the order with an item off their monthly menu specials. The muffuletta pizza. Very nice with a great flavor. My wife loved every bite of her braised beef sliders and cole slaw. We also have this obsession with ordering Brussels sprouts when we go out and they're available. I will give the sprouts 3 out of 5 because they had way too much balsamic vinegar on them. This rating doesn't bring my overall rating down because it's likely they are very good any other time. As if all that weren't enough to eat, we ordered the 8" Cinnamon Streusel pizza with vanilla bean ice cream off their seasonal monthly menu. Oh boy was that good!! If given the opportunity to come back to South Bend, this will be my go to place. PS... I'm not a beer drinker, but it seems they have lots of craft beer on tap. It's considered a gastropub. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. Some outside seating is covered and nice of it raining but still warm out. There is a patio area that's quite large. It looks like and has a feel of a biergarten.
