I had such a good time here! The employees are polite and chill. I had to reduce my party number drastically the day of and it wasn't a problem. I put a deposit down previously, but my party members had the option to pay for their karaoke time individually the day of. I got extra time for my grace period since the other people in my group were running late. I still encourage anyone that comes here to show up on time because you never know if the venue has any back to back reservations. The rooms are equipped with some sort of low neon-colored lighting to set the vibe, and deep, soft couches. The only con that I have is that the rooms can get stuffy and the one air vent that was in our room didn't provide us with enough ventilation. For songs you can use the Singa app or look up your instrumentals on YouTube. The room that I was in had four microphones for singers to use. We weren't able to adjust the volume for Singa/YouTube playback, or adjust the volume on our microphones but we made it work. My friends and I have already brought up returning. read more

This was such a GREAT place. This guy brought me here for our first date and I KNOW he was NOT expecting the greatest concert he would ever witness, lol. I love singing so this gave me life even if it was only me and him in the rooom. We did some duets and sang our hearts out. Culver Karaoke really is a good time. It was packed. The price was RIGHT. You can buy snacks. The staff was super kind. It's a great space and concept. The room was just the right amount PLUS there were 2 couches so you can fit enough people in that room. The parking lot is small with limited spaces BUT there's ample street parking. We had a bit of technical difficulties but they made it right and gave us extra time. Came here 10/19 for a friend's birthday and we rented out two rooms. Such a nice place and love the fact that we didn't have to drive far into LA where majority of the karaokes spots are. You are allowed to bring in your own food which is cool and they have drinks and some snacks for purchase if needed. Service was good however our reservation was at 3pm and I was super thrown off that staff didn't arrive until 3:30p AND they still had to clean up the rooms. They were definitely nice and made adjustments with the time just thought this was odd. Otherwise no complaints and plan to be back. Parking is limited. read more

I shot scenes for my short film at Culver Karaoke. They went out of their way to make sure our cast and crew were comfortable and had everything we needed. I continuously asked for small favors during our 7 hour shoot and they were super accommodating, helping us immediately with everything we needed. The staff is very friendly and professional. Most importantly, they support budding creatives which means a lot as many forms of art become less and less feasible these days. Great spot for a small party but lowkey a scam, beware. If you have a large party, be very careful bc the pricing is fucked. I watched a lady get charged ~$700 for 4 hours for 9 people with minimal alcohol. That cautioned, the rooms are comfy, have great speakers, and the lights give it a great ambiance. Also 1 of 3 guys who worked there is a lil passive aggressive or maybe he seemed hard of hearing. When we came in and we were greeted by a different person, we said we had a reservation and it's for 2 hours and then he butt into the conversation asking if we had a reservation. Like yes, we just said that. They had a clerical error where they only had us down for 1 hour, then made it sound like they were doing us a massive favor by accommodating a second hour. (We had talked to them before the reservation to make sure it was correct so this situation seemed odd). All in all, karaoke is always fun and people can be weird. Nothing inherently wrong nor special. My suggestion to the business is to have a cap for how much a room is worth. I understand that this is LA and it's expensive out here, but this seems like a predatory practice. read more

The tech is way more modern than other karaoke spots--queuing songs felt like using Spotify, no codes or songbooks, just easy and intuitive. The room was spacious, couches were comfy, and prices for snacks and drinks were reasonable. You're also allowed to bring in outside food, which most places don't allow. Only small thing--could hear some noise from the next room and even a couple rooms down. I don't go to karaoke places often, so not sure if that's just the norm. Still, it didn't ruin the night. Had my birthday celebration here, and everyone was super friendly and communicative, from the moment I went to check it out ahead of time, all the way through the end of our night. The team was so helpful in accommodating our requests, and they were responsive in answering all of our questions in person and via Instagram. My friend and I came in without a reservation on a Thursday night and were quickly greeted by the attendant working the front desk. He then gave us a rundown of the rules and guidelines before quickly cleaning and prepping the room we were about to use. Once we got started singing, we immediately noticed how much the sound levels were off with no way of adjusting. Also, a lot of the songs we chose had lyrics displayed on the screen in either a confusing way (for multiple singers), were off tempo, or were completely wrong (along with misspellings). Aside from the hiccups from the audio and visual of the room, we were mostly satisfied with our experience. However, when leaving we wanted to get more information in case we wanted to bring a larger group for a future visit. Noticing how parched I became from singing, I asked the attendant if we were able to bring in outside water bottles like a Hydro Flask or Stanley Cup. Immediately, he says something along the lines of, "Well, you can't bring in vodka. That's something we don't allow." I tell him that I wasn't talking about vodka and that I was asking about water because of how dry it got in the room and how parched I got. He just doubled down with, "Yeah, but you'll be bringing in vodka and we can't have that." That immediately turned me off because even though I was asking a legitimate question, he just made an assumption and insulted me instead of giving me a simple 'no'. Because of the sound levels being off and the attendant being rude, I will most likely not return to this establishment. While it might suffice for other people, it simply doesn't for me. read more

Such a fun experience and place! Super casual and chill, they sell drinks (which is a plus), and have a great selection of songs. I also loved the vibes all around and the service was a 10/10! It was $14.50 per person by the hour for weekend prices or $12 for weekday prices, and it's a $45 flat corkage fee to BYOB. My only suggestion is to add "Pink Pony Club" by Chappell Roan lol. Came with some friends for Halloween. We all had a great time. They have a great music selection. The room was large enough for more than the 5 people we had. You can order drinks but we did not. RJ who was working in the front was really nice and helpful and checked in on us multiple times. The room was pretty basic, they had a mic stand but I wish they would have had a stand to put your phone on. I reserved through instagram, where they had great customer services. We paid $15 per hour, which I felt was fair. They even allowed us to start our reservation on time even though some in our group were late. I will definitely be back. read more
