First time visiting yesterday night, after searching fruitlessly thru other norae-bang/karaoke options in LA Koreatown (not easy to find on a Thursday night with exorbitant requisite baseline payments catering to large groups and limited valet parking). Had a last-minute idea to go karaoke with my coworkers (6 of us total) after dinner, so I called this place ahead of time to ask about rates and wait time on a Friday night. It was $10 per person, per hour with a 2-hour minimum (plus tax and gratuity), which I thought was a pretty good deal! They also offer drink and food packages, but since we already ate and drank beforehand, we just paid for the karaoke. We also didn't have to wait- mainly because when we got there it was already pretty late (12am). When we arrived, the staff were super accommodating and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable honestly better than other karaoke spots I've been to. They even gave us a tambourine and GLOW STICKS, which was such a fun touch! We had an amazing time. The total came out to $166 for 2 hours, tax and gratuity included (we also added a few water bottles to stay hydrated). Split evenly, it was $27.68 per person, which felt totally worth it. This is hands down the best karaoke place I've been to, and I'll definitely be back. This is my new go-to spot for karaoke! The employees and the owner were extremely rude; customer service actually horrible.... Don't trust the prices and triple check with the employees because they were so unclear about what the rates were. It's obvious they have sneaky strategies to scam people: no book menu and an inefficient pos system. We agreed on a price going in; and then we were argued a different price trying to go out. On top of all that, the workers were speaking in Korean, saying very disrespectful things behind our backs. Being half Korean, I speak the language but don't look the part. They probably assumed none of us could understand the hurtful insults they said under their breath. My bestie and I took her daughters here for their very first nohraebang experience.
