Just tried the teriyaki chicken on a stick and Cantonese style beef chow mein. I have to say that I'm so happy they opened. After my local Chinese food place changed management last year, the food sucked and I didn't think I'd find anywhere else to get the same quality food. Great food ,I wanted to continue coming here for lunch but was kinda upset I had to pay 5 cents a packet for sweet and sour sauce, usually I get two but now I've gotten one .any other Chinese restaurants will give these out for free.call me cheap but its weird to having to pay for extra condiments .I hope they change this policy in the future customers read more

What a lovely locally owned restaurant, Rose herself serviced our table. GIANT portions - be prepared to eat family style, or you will guaranteed have leftovers. Food came out fast and hot! Service was very friendly. I love the entrée pictures on the wall, so you can clearly know what you ordered with no surprises. Very stingy with their meats. The pictures are not at all representative of actual servings. I mean the serving sizes are about the same as anywhere else but it's plenty of rice. Now of course they are more than willing to $ell you extra meat by the dollar. And they will ask you how much extra one dollar or two. By the way it's two dollars per extra beef. I've gotten as much as $6 extra beef in my beef fried rice and it was still very sparse. Even when your order meat dishes like Mongolian beef pepper steak chicken and broccoli etc. the meat is still hard to find behind all the sauce and veggies. And they are not very reasonable prices either. I do not recommend. I only go every now and then to see if maybe they have stepped it up and always end up disappointed. read more

The food in this restaurant deserves a five star but the service is a different story. Restaurant charges/gouges for everything. I ordered 3 meals and asked for 2 plates since the order was a take out. They charged 10¢ per plate. This morning I came across a review that was highlighted for today. It came up on top of my news feed. The reviews all looked good and the food looked delicious. So we gave it a try today !! I'm so happy this place opened. I was just saying the other day I wish we had some good Chinese food in the area. Guy answering phone was super friendly, food was beyond delicious. I ordered beef chow fun. The beef was great quality. I wanna say the texture and flavor of the beef was better than PF Changs !!!!! We also ordered veggie fried rice and vegetarian egg rolls. All the food here is so tasty and cooked with heart! But these Beef Teriyaki Sticks at $6.50 for 6 pieces is the best ever! Juicy, Tender, Flavorful, and great portion size! 3 sticks filled me up and I'm a 200 pound man who EATS! These Sticks will always make you want Roses! The price point for these guys is PERFECT! Grand Opening!!!! For the 3rd day of being open for business, not bad the taste was good,price and Rose the owner was very nice. Greeted us with hot tea, egg drop soup. The place looks very organized, artsy and clean. We dined in and ordered from the lunch menu and it was available for being a Saturday they just added 1.50 but it was a good sized portion came with fried rice, egg roll, soup, ad your entree. Rose speaks English,Spanish and Chinese. Hope they continue to serve as good as the first time they opened. Jade Dragon and Hoy's don't have nothing on Rose's. Good job and Good Luck! read more

I live in the Wooddale area And there are not that many choices for decent Chinese food.. I normally order this through Grubhub, and let's start with the positives. I do not know how they do it but they literally get to my door within 20 minutes from when I order with food cooked and drive time... I have no idea how they get to my house so fast with the food cooked so fast.. Also a positive their lo mein is very good. I love their dinner option which comes with an egg roll fried rice and whatever your choice of meat, it's a great deal at $7.99 Now on with some of the negatives a lot of the food tastes either warmed up or the meat tastes like it's either frozen or not so fresh, The pork that I tasted tasted a little gamy and not extremely fresh. The chicken also was a little off not saying that it was bad just not super fresh. Also with some of the dishes they could be very chintzy in the amount of meat did they give you in the dish in comparison to vegetables. The egg rolls also are very greasy and not really that great. But the prices are not horrible I see that they updated since When I first started ordering over a year ago there are more in line with other Chinese restaurants. This is extremely average Chinese takeout place but like I always say go check it out for yourself this is just my opinion. read more

Finally got to check out the new Chinese food restaurant with my wife and son. Didn't think they'd have a chance against our favorite spot. Boy were we wrong. Started with the combo tray, everything was great but the crab rangoon was my favorite. (Try it with Rose's homemade sauce ) My wife loves hot mustard so she'll definately be looking for your homemade hot mustard hopefully coming soon) -Had the orange chicken- actually tasted like chicken and not just breading. Good size amount served. -Mongolian special was also very good! Good amount of meat and big shrimp. -Combination fried rice- I love combo fried rice... probably my new favorite.
