I'm staying in Noblesville for business, and decided to stop by the Uptown Cafe for breakfast. I sat down, ordered coffee, and then went to the men's room to wash up. What struck me most as I walked through the cafe was how dirty the place is. The bathroom, the floors, the walls, and the ceiling fans. The whole place needs a deep cleaning. The breakfast sandwich with homemade bread was tasty, and the corned beef hash was interesting. Not what I expected. Fried corned beef on top of hash browns. A bit greasy. I did enjoy sitting by the window and watching people come and go at the Courthouse. read more

I really enjoy Uptown Cafe's eggs Benedict and the chef prepares a very tasty hollandaise sauce. On our last visit with a group of 5 including a 2 year old, we had a long order and our waitress, Macy J, had to write some of the items on the back of the ticket. Unfortunately, only 4 of the 5 orders arrived and it was so refreshing to hear a server honestly explain that my order on the back got overlooked and was delayed. She totally owned it and was rewarded in my gratuity as I realize honest mistakes can happen, but I loved she was bold enough to own it and was sincere in her apology. It is a cute diner with a wonderful view of the historic jail and courthouse from the dining room. read more

I've passed by this little locally owned cafe hundreds of times and wanted to stop. Finally, today was the day. The cafe sits in the shadows of the historic Hamilton County Courthouse on the square. The dining room is adorable with a vintage diner vibe. Stools at the counter, shiny top tables and photos of the historical downtown Noblesville filled the room. We were welcomed and told to sit wherever we wanted. Mike and Kayla (first day trainee) were our servers. They were friendly, attentive and treated us like special guests. Both checked on us frequently with lots of smiles. The breakfast menu offers the typical Midwest options. Mike told us EVERYTHING is made in-house - the bread, English muffins, even the ketchup and hot sauce. I had a half order of eggs Florentine and a side salad. (I love salad for breakfast.) The "side" salad was huge and topped with Fritos and bacon. It was a meal in itself. The Eggs Florentine were incredible. The poached egg was perfectly cooked, fresh made muffin, fresh tomato and spinach. And the hollandaise sauce was creamy and amazing. I could eat this every day. My husband had the half order of Eggs Benedict with hash browns. His meal was equally amazing. The side of potatoes was generous. We had a perfect breakfast. There is limited parking around the square - best to get there early. I can't wait to go back. read more

I came to Noblesville to pickup an item at a local shop, and had scouted for a good diner nearby. Uptown Cafe seemed to check the boxes, and it was close to my destination, so it was settled. The restaurant is on a corner of the square, and had two sections of seating (from what I saw). I took the bar side, and found a table set with menu, silverware, etc. Service was immediate, and coffee and water came right away - plus a small pitcher of cream (nice touch). I ended up with an omelet - sausage, onion, mushroom and pepper jack cheese - with two pancakes and hash browns. Food arrived in less than ten minutes. The pancakes were good - served with a packet of butter and small plastic cup of syrup (just enough). The omelet was good - almost "meaty" - and the hash browns were crispy and not greasy. Mike was behind the bar taking care of the room while there were food runners helping with drinks and other needs. Nice music, low-key atmosphere, very clean (I didn't check the restrooms) and overall seemed like a popular spot. read more

As former residents of Noblesville we've been here a lot but it has been years since our last visit. While a lot has changed it's still the same. We walked in and the place was packed. Luckily, there has been an expansion so more seating is available. In spite of the crowd we were seated shortly after our arrival. We perused the menu to find old favorites and interesting new ones. My wife deviated slightly from her standard Biscuits and Gravy and tried the Cowboy Benedict. A brilliant crossover of her two favorite breakfasts. Perfect poached eggs on a split biscuit smothered in sausage gravy. I chose the Breakfast Burrito which allows a choice of two add ins. I went with jalapeño and black olives. The house made salsa was fresh and tasty. Not spicy. We both enjoyed the hash browns which are crispy on the outside. Service was outstanding. read more

I'm a sucker for a great diner! The classic food, local vibes, and simple charm! This spot has it in spades! I was doing some work in Downtown Noblesville and wanted to grab a quick breakfast. I stepped inside and just wanted to slow down and chill. The cozy seating and friendly staff made me feel super welcomed and like one of the locals. The coffee in my Uptown mug was always topped off and the biscuits and gravy were on point! Nothing fancy, but oh so familiar...and sometimes you just want to feel at home. That's not to diminish the quality or the vision to add their own personal touches! The house made ketchup was super flavorful and a perfect complement to the hash browns that were beautifully crisped on the flattop! So delicious, came here on a Saturday morning, and went early to beat the crowd. Friendly and quick service with a cute diner feel. The Western Omelet was delicious. Ordered it with a side of hash browns and a fruit cup. My partner ordered the Breakfast Sandwich - One Egg and an Orange Juice (he loved the OJ). One of the best breakfast spots in the area. UPTOWN CAFE IS TRASH AS FUCK. subpar food, subpar service. staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. i'd rather eat at a waffle house.

Stopped in here with some friends for mimosas the day after Christmas. Unbeknownst to me, they no longer serve alcohol here! So we did not get mimosas, instead we got hot cocoa (which honestly I prefer). The hot chocolate was delicious! Talk about awesome fresh flavors!!! We bought a bottle to take home! My SIL is a katsup Connoisseur! He is going to look be this stuff! Back to breakfast, my eggs were done perfectly and my has been thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast BLT sandwich! They have now opened a new section that serves drinks in the evening and late afternoon with hors d'oeuvres. Every time we walk in the door we say we have to go back for that room. Had the breakfast burrito with sausage and marble rye toast. Great tasty meal to start the day! I love that all their condiments are house made - salsa - jam - ketchup - hot sauce etc. Staff is attentive, without being obnoxious. The iced tea was okay. I've had fresh brewed that tasted better. My sister had the Eggs Florentine Benedict and added mushrooms. She said it was amazing and could taste the different flavors. Their housemade hollandaise sauce was just the right complement. Our niece enjoyed an egg sandwich on an English Muffin with a side of crispy hash browns, and it looked amazing. The portions are ample and enough. Depending on the time you visit Uptown Cafe, there is plenty of parking. There is also disabled parking available. Also, on the same block there is a parking garage. Once I entered the Cafe, I thought what a quaint little place. Typical old fashioned Cafe with stools at the counter or tables. Large windows providing a nice view of the Noblesville square. The staff was very busy and still took time to greet me. I ordered a hot chocolate. Wow, lots of chocolate. Yum! So good I had a second cup. Great food, heaping portions! Love the cinnamon toast! Take your patience with you, because the dining area is small and there is no foyer/entrance between the entry door and the dining space. If it's cold out, keep your coat on. You may have to get up and shut the door if someone comes in because it doesn't close all the way shut by itself and the freezing cold air can be brutal. I had a chiropractor appointment early this morning and this place was close so we ate breakfast here. It's a small cramped space. You cant help but be in everyone's conversation because the tables are so close together.
