If i could give 0 stars I would. I've never dealt with such rude judgmental people in my life, specifically the manager and security guard. I went in to purchase some new pants, I had picked 5 pair to try on and before I was done trying on the 5th pair I had 3 police officers knocking on the door. I opened the door politely put the 3 pairs I didn't want on the rack and walked o or to pay for the 2 I did want all while b being harassed by lake forest police department and the half retarded security guard. I had dont absolutely nothing wrong, as I exited the store the manageand security gaurd r had the audacity ​to chase me down yelling that I'm trespassed all based on how my appearance. Dressing rooms are all closed. The ones at the back of the store say to use the ones at the front of the store. The ones at the front of the store say they're closed. This is Retail 101. If you're primarily a clothing store, and you can't staff enough to keep dressing rooms open, you shouldn't be open. This is why I do not like shopping at Ross's Dress for Less. But I did anyway on this day because I am designing a playroom for my granddaughters. I bought a large area rug, throw pillows, bedding, towels, picture frames, decorative mirrors, and some large stuffed animals. Also a tray table, and various children's shoes, bibs, socks, and other items. About $300 worth of stuff, and to their credit the manager did meet me in the parking lot with three carts of items I bought. I observed a store clerk on the floor on her cell phone, on a personal call. I had the nerve to ask her where the knife blocks were. She turned to me with phone in hand and pointed, saying they are over there and if you can't find them come back and I'll help you then. I must have looked at her in a way that indicated my surprise at her level of reluctance to provide service. She then immediately followed me down one of the aisles and asked if I was taping her conversation. Yes, she did. I by this time had pulled my phone out to begin taking photos of the store for my Yelp review, the one I am writing now. I come to this Ross at Lake Forest Park mostly because l take walks in that area and stop in because it's nearby. I almost never buy anything there. The merchandise is either damaged or it's just poor quality. I look at the clothes but it's so bad and low quality I don't buy it even though the price is cheap. You get what you pay for. Most people that shop there are low income and not the most polite. When I am wearing a jacket I usually take it off and throw it in the shopping cart while I shop. I did that today and when I was ready to leave I put my jacket back on. Then some crazy woman approached me and yelled that I just put the jacket on that was in the shopping cart. I explained that is my own jacket. It did not have a price tag or security tag on it. She kept saying I just took that jacket. She yelled the whole time. It got the cashier's attention so I explained to her that it is my jacket I did not steal it off the rack. She acknowledged me and said ok. I walked out of the store and the security sensor did not go off so obviously I did not steal it. To be honest, if I were a shoplifter I would not steal anything from a Ross store. Bad experience today but I am not surprised someone that shops there acted that way. She was probably a shoplifter. As for this store, there's always only one cashier so the line can be up to 10 people. Another reason I don't buy anything. Even if I find something I want (almost never)it's not worth it for me to wait in line for 10 minutes to buy one item. read more

Came in tonight to hunt for a giftie for one of my neices. On entering the store, I noticed how spacious it is...because the store seems pretty empty. There is A LOT of space between the racks, almost too much, as if there are racks missing. The shelves have the illusion of being stocked, but the selection is pretty limited. The price is what you'd expect at a Ross. The staff were all congregated at the front of the store, I wasn't greeted until I was on my way out of the store after being unsuccessful in my quest. It's a Ross... what can I say? When I need cheap socks... towels... or underwear I hit Ross... so why review this one? Well, this has lately been my GO TO Ross (since it is so conveniently located next to my gym). It's pretty damn huge! Lots of open space and it seems like they aren't utilizing it and allowing for a more open/comfortable shopping experience. So different than the one by Alderwood Mall that seems to be like a bloody warzone... racks damn near stacked on top of each other. At first glance you'll notice how open and clean it is, not cluttered but well organized. Finding what you are looking for is a fairly simply task. Generally I buy underwear and socks here... but I have come across some good finds in the workout apparel and sometimes even the outerwear sections. overall... this place satisfies my basic needs... 4 do-you-love-it stars out of 5 read more

This Ross is not very big at all. They just don't carry as much as the Ross closer to my house. The employees were nice...just didn't seem excited to be working. This is probably the cleanest and brightest Ross I have ever visited. Granted, this location has not been open long, but I sure hope that they can keep the tidiness up because it looks really great in here. Lots of clothing and shoes to choose from. Plenty of great kitchen items and bedding. Clean fitting rooms. Friendly employees. I came away with a pair of flats and an athletic tee for about $25 bucks - good deal. I can even go with the whole family because my hubby heads for the guy gadgets, and my son - toys of course! The LFP location: This is the best one!!! This is a really great Ross location unfortunately I think one of their perks may be their undoing. The place is always nearly empty of customers when I'm there, that's fantastic for my shopping experience but probably not so great for their longevity. The racks were all well stocked without being stuffed so full that you couldn't look at anything. It's also new so it is still pretty darn sparkling clean. One item I never thought to look for that they had a lot of cool cheap selections: nail polish! It's not like they have OPI or Essie but they have super cheap box sets of offbrand polish. When you get 5 bottles for $6 you can't really complain if it isn't very long lasting. read more

This Ross is located to 2 of my favorite places: a library and a bread store. Located in the Lake Forest mall next to the Lake Forest Police Station (talk about mall cops!) there is two levels of parking (recommend the second level where the book store is) and both elevator and escalator access. This is a new and huge Ross with a wide selection and great prices. It is also a cleaner and more family style Ross then the ones located in downtown and in south Seattle (pick up your aisle SeaTac!). It also boosts a wider furniture selection when I shopped here. read more

I shop at Ross pretty often, and I can say that I've probably been to over a dozen different Ross stores in all different areas. This one is hands down the worst of them all. The staff is unfriendly. You get this vibe from them that they don't really want you there. It's the oddest thing, but true. They don't greet you with a smile, you don't hear any chit chat. Today one of the men there was actually flat out rude to at least three different people including myself. I was totally appalled. I agree with the other reviewer that the store is hardly stocked. There really isn't a lot of inventory which makes trips here often times not worthwhile. Many of the shelves are close to empty. It's hard to find anything you are looking for. It's a shame because this little shopping center is pretty much the only one in Kenmore. There really aren't a lot of stores in the area. Anytime I need something I have to drive all the way to Lynnwood or Woodinville. It would be nice if this Ross was decent, I'm sure they would get a lot more business. read more

If you like being treated like a crime just waiting to happen, this is the Ross for you. First of all, there's a security guard/greeter/surveillance specialist posted at the door to give you the once-over and maybe make note of your description in case he has to file a police report. I refuse to make eye contact with him so he probably thinks I'm the matriarch of the infamous Kenmore Crime Family, but that's just part of the fun of shopping here. If you need a cart, you have to take one with a six-foot mast so staff can keep track of you while you peruse their generally cheaply-made merchandise. Perish the thought you might try to purloin a pleather purse. You can smell the bag department from half a store away. If petrochemical stench is your thing, you'll find it here. Don't buy anything big and bulky, because you're not allowed to take your masted trolley out to your car. I've shopped everywhere from Value Village to Nordstrom--including Ross stores all over Washington and Oregon--and I've never encountered this level of mistrust and paranoia. Gotta hand it to you Lake Forest Ross--you're one of a kind! I'm giving you two stars for being clean, convenient, and mostly empty. PS: if you're looking for better quality merchandise at fair prices, I recommend TJ Maxx. read more

Where do you go when you need a new belt because the last one is now way too big? For some reason, I thought Ross just sold womens clothes, but now I know better. Granted, the mens selections are pretty slim, but the prices were great. They had enough belts that I was able to find one and to make it better, the original price was $39.95, but the Ross price was $9.95. A new belt at a great price! Disclaimer: Being a guy, going to a place like Ross sounds about as nice as going to the dentist. However, I gave them 5 stars because I cannot think of one thing this place should be doing better than it currently is. The prices are more than reasonable, the selection is above and beyond what I expected, and they saved my ass at Christmas time when I didn't know what to get for my girlfriend or any female family members I have. There were no annoying sales people, however there was a staff presence in case I had a question. It wasn't crowded either, on December 23rd for that matter. Earlier that week I had driven Northgate way and was afraid I was going to spend the night stranded in that traffic jam. How this place can be as calm as a yoga class 2 days before Christmas with their prices and inventory is beyond me. read more

I'm a fan of Ross so I can't really give a lower rating but I was greatly disappointed that their escalator was broken the day I happen to park below and I'm with my grandma who can't do the stairs. I had to have her go out the upper level and drive around to get her. :( They should really consider having it more quickly repaired if that happens again. read more

I went to Ross today at Lake Forest Park. I did find some things. The store seemed very lightly stocked, I've noticed this at other Ross locations too. There was not enough help at the registers. One lady and there are about 7 registers unmanned. I miss the Ross stores that were fully stocked, employees would greet customers with a smile and there was more help. I gave it 3 stars as it was a middle of the road experience. Not the worst experience at Ross, but not the best either. read more

This particular store/location is one of the worst I've ever been in. Inventory is sparse and it doesn't matter how long the line is to purchase items there is never been more than one person ringing up customers when I've been in there, which by the way I will never set foot in again based on my most recent visit. I purchased some small hoop earrings. When I got home and decided to wear them, I discovered that one of the hoops was damaged and wouldn't snap in place to hold the earring on my ear. I went to return them, tags and box included and was told I could not return them. They said the back of the receipt states you cannot return jewelry. I said okay but it doesn't say it includes damaged jewelry that they sold me. After getting nowhere I asked to talk to someone higher up and was given the phone number of the district manager. I called him and left a polite message as to what happened and asked him to call me. No call back. Obviously he doesn't care that this store sold me damaged goods and made a profit off me. Poor management, a policy of selling damaged goods and not allowing even an EXCHANGE of the item, and poor customer service renders this store ONE STAR. If you ever have an experience like I did and want to contact the district manager, his name is Ken Ross and his phone number is 360-402-0427. Don't expect a call back however - I just want to get his name and number out there for everyone to see who is ripping people off. read more

I love this place! If you are a young girl like me and like to find matching stuff for you and your friends, this is the place to go! They have tons of the same things and all in different sizes, which helps since I'm a lot taller and have more muscle than my short and skinny friends. I would recommend this Ross more than the one in Lynnwood. The one in Lynnwood was crowded and kinda ratchet, but the one in LFP is very quiet and has a wider variety. It has lots of things that are cheaper than they would be at a Fred Meyer or a Target. I got soccer shoes there that would be $60 at an Adidas store for $15. The store is almost like a thrift shop, but it's the best thrift shop ever if it is one. read more

We're very sad when the lady who is helping in front of the fitting room treat us as we're the shoplifters, the way she said to us very impolite.
