I usually do not write reviews but i just got home and I am horrified. The service was okay maybe not the waitresses fault but honestly the amount of food compared to the price was not even justified. Subsititued shrimp for sausauge in one of the dishes and there was an $18 upcharge never mentioned. Also subsituted potatoes for lobster risotto and got dry piece of fish no sauce and dry potatoes. The most god awful tiny piece of fish for with dry potates. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone. I love the one in Lynn but this place is by far insane with the quality vs. the quantity. I wouldn't mind if I was wowed by the food but I am so embarrased that I even took my family there. We go many places from high to low end and this was a complete and utter disappointment. read more

So this place was packed and has a good reputation. We had a half hour wait and so we decided to try it. the receptionists were fantastic, especially the tall blond with curly hair (sorry didn't ask name) and was super understanding when you asked to move since the indoor patio area was super hot and no fans were on (why not?) and May i add very loud. The restaurant is upscale and classy but for some reason very loud... Our waiter was great and helped us to pick the lemon piccata, Gnocchi and Caesar salad. The salad was very fresh, but the dressing could be a little bit more tangy. Also some fresh parm on top would Really be great. The gnocchi was perfect and the red sauce was incredible. The lemon piccata sauce was so perfect and you could taste the butter and lemon but not overpowering. The chicken was so tender and light. The food really was delicious. We stopped in with our reservations on a busy Saturday night . They were able to seat the 2 of us right away . Our server was very kind, knowledgeable, and was great at checking in with our being intrusive . We started with a Caesar salad and it came with The Best homemade dressing. I had the chicken picatta and he got the chicken Parmesan. Both were extremely tasty. I would definitively go again if I'm in the area. read more

Incredible! I can't say enough good things about this place. The Fried Eggplant and Antipasti are both outstanding. The half serving on the antipasti is perfect for 2. The calamari was the only thing that wasn't a slam dunk and that only because I felt it was breaded a little too heavily but it was still delicious and we devoured all of it. For pasta, I've been here twice and by far the best thing is the tagliatelle with wild mushrooms. I dream about it ... it's that good. Last time I ended up getting an order of it to go because I knew I would regret it if I didn't get to eat it in the morning. I've also had the linguini with crab. I'm thoroughly impressed by how much crab they include and how fresh it tasted. My friend has the chicken braciolettini and was blown away by the taste. She said it was well flavored and cooked perfectly. The wine offering is perfect and the overall atmosphere is beautiful. I usually aim for the outdoor seating as I think it's a little quieter and I like that they have heating lamps. All in all one of the best restaurants on the North Shore. read more

My friend and I went here for lunch and we absolutely loved everything here! Starting with the Waitress (Becca), who was the perfect mix of profession and making you feel like you are best friends. She took my friends allergy very seriously without making us feel uncomfortable, but definitely safe and heard. Cocktails were very aesthetically pleasing, food was amazing, and dessert was so cute and yummy! Bathrooms are also note worthy, there are a bunch of individual bathrooms, which adds to the comfort factor. We will definitely be back here!!! The food was delicious, good portion, and they were very courteous with our food allergies. All staff was friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were clean, well stocked, and i love the style they went with-- individual gender neutral 'water closets' (small bathrooms with full doors, not stalls). The interior decorating is also beautiful! Nice gas fireplace inside and they have heaters outside on their patio for year round dining. Very covid friendly for outdoor dining. A must go to!!! I took the 45 minute drive and would go it again!! We were a party of 4 with a 7:00 pm reservation. I had arrived early, so I sat at the bar where I was greeted by Alexa. She was extremely pleasant and very efficient. I chose the Jimador Harvest which is made with mezcal. Before I even could say no mezcal, she explained what it was and I thought that was very impressive, as a lot of people do not like mezcal. When our table was ready we were fortunate enough to be seated in a prime spot behind the bar, where I could see the tv!! Being a huge Bruins fan, i immediately went over to as Alexa if she could switch one tv to the Bruins. She was immediately on it. Great spot if you are looking for a COVID friendly place with excellent food. Outside the roof is lined with heaters above every table, I could see myself eating here in much colder weather and still being comfortable. There are also barriers between tables inside as well as outside. Started with the mussels, these were very good. I had the truffle butter tagliatelle and my fiancé had the bolognese. For the prices they charge I would expect excellence. Despite the fireplace, I wasn't impressed with the ambiance. With mostly hard surfaces it's very noisy, and the tables look like something you'd find in a diner. It's hard to understand what sort of restaurant they're trying to be. On one hand the food is ambitious and upscale, but then there are several tvs over the bar showing sports. The service was OK, but our server had this slightly weird and annoying habit of asking "how are we doing?" Excuse me - YOU are not eating with us, it is jus the two of us. Been here 20 plus times, always good. Tonight, not so. Great Caesar salad, waited 20 minutes for Prosciutto pizza ordered at same time as the salad. We watched the pizza get put on the outgoing shelf. We told server who eventually went and got it. Cold pizza, cold Prosciutto. Was told by the manager that the way it's served, pulled the dish and told us we are no longer allowed at the restaurant. I have been actively updating my friends to this behavior. We eat at Rosetti once a week and it's always been excellent. However, last night I decided to try the spaghetti with clams and was totally underwhelmed. The white wine sauce was thick, gloopy, and very bland. The clams were chewy as well. I did eat the clams, but left all the pasta and sauce; it was hard to look at actually. I think they should rethink that sauce into something more delicate and flavorful. But we still love Rosetti and this is the first time I have not enjoyed one of their dishes. read more

This was the best food out we have had since Covid. We had a reservation and waited less then 2 minutes to be seated. Service was great! The bread was warm and fresh. I ordered the espresso martini, which was delicious, my husband ordered the house old fashioned which he also thought was tasty. For meals, we ordered the cod and the steak. The cod was in the top 5 I've ever had, but mostly because the Maryland crab risotto it rested on was fantastic! The steak was perfectly prepared, it seemed to be missing a jus or something on the side, it was also played separately from the potatoes and vegetables. Chicken parm in a friolater? I've been here several times and have been impressed with the food and ambiance. My experience tonight was disappointing. Dreadful music played way too loud. My server was kind and we laughed together about how bad the music was. Come on Eileen?! Yikes. I've made fun of friends for ordering chicken parm in a nice restaurant but I was feeling it and figured it would be perfect at this high-end Italian establishment. The cutlet was dropped in the friolater and tasted like a chicken puck from a school cafeteria. I ate some and pushed it away. The gentleman server inquired if all was good and I let him know it was a disaster. The awful loud music and my chicken puck made for an unpleasant dinner. He was gracious. The floor manager came over and was short with me and rude. She spoke over me. She offered a free dessert which I passed on. The check came and the server noted a discount. I expected the parm to be removed. Nope. $6 employee discount. I've visited at least 6 times in the last 8 weeks. I won't be back. read more

The veal parm was not only very, very salty but seemed to be made elsewhere and dressed in Beverly. The broccoli raab was dry and crusty with no real flavor . We went here with 6 friends. The service and atmosphere was great. We sat behind the fire but could understand it could get crowded and loud in the front area. The food was good according to all 8 of us. No one felt it was amazing but just good. Be aware that they charge a kitchen fee. Its like a tip for the back of the house. Quite happy with our experience with minor complaints. The space is built out quite nicely with high and beautifully designed ceilings. Cozy spots throughout and a nice covered outdoor seating area. With six people, everyone was very pleased with cocktails and beer/wine selections. I had the Paloma Capri followed by a glass of nebbiolo with dinner. Very happy with those. Food was pretty great overall. Fried calamari was great and the sauces served with it really made the dish. Octopus was well-cooked and the plating was fresh and tasty. Bread service is really nice as well. Everyone was pleased with their entrees as well which included veal marsala, salmon, chicken braciolettini, and the campanelle with sausage. Everything was going great until our two desserts took 30 minutes to arrive to the table. At no point did the server stop by to update us of anything. I have worked in restaurants for 10+ years and would have comped the desserts for taking so long. We would have told him to just to skip them had he stopped by to update us, we were pretty full anyway. Also no offer for coffees and most drinks ran dry before offering refills. My fiance and I recently visited Rossetti in Beverly for the first time. We arrived a bit past 8pm for dinner and were quickly seated at a cozy table by the fire. We knew we were going to have a great experience as soon as our server, Mackenzie, arrived at our table. He was quite frankly one of the best waiters we have had in quite some time. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and attentive. We split a few small plates - ricotta gnocchi, fried eggplant, tuna tartare and burrata salad. Fans of the Lynn place for years. Finally got in here and was not disappointed! First and foremost while every restaurant in creation is crying "understaffed", these guys clearly performed. Octopus and meatballs were good, Gluten Free accommodations great. Chicken parms - came out cold and over-. Service: Hostess: Excellent. Primary Waitress: Efficient but somewhat unfriendly. Others: helpful. Business Decisions: Despite NEVER being a no-show, if you make a reservation and don't cancel it greater than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged. I had no intention of canceling, but someone should be able to call at noon to cancel a 7pm reservation without being charged. Respectful repeat customers should be treated with respect, and I am confident Open Table can accommodate that logic. Kitchen Fee - not a big deal (at all) , but just add it to the bill and pay the employees. I own a business, and I don't charge my customers by department as a way to make my prices look artificially lower. Just my opinion, but if the food and service are great, you can charge for that value and keep demand high as an organic way of conducting respectful business with your customers. read more

OKAY. Unpopular review here. Before anyone kills me I'm giving 3 out of 5 stars for an A-OK. The four of us dined last weekend and were expecting to be absolutely blown away seeing all the great reviews. However, our experience fell a little short. Working in the industry the space is absolutely beautiful and the staff is AWESOME. Great service and atmosphere, the space is truly beautiful. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. The reason why I've knocked a few stars is the food just didn't blow us away. We also felt EXTREMELY rushed. Im talking about within maybe 8-10 minutes of getting our drinks we got our meals. Two chicken parm, a gnocchi, and a burrata salad. All of us agreed it was just A-OK. The food tasted somewhat bland and that it was prepared to go on the fly. Again, totally understandable seeing as we are in the middle of a pandemic and things are a little different right now. We weren't even seated for a half an hour and had our drinks and food. Blah. For the price we felt a little let down. Seemed as though they were trying to turn the table quick even though we were seated at 730ish and had everything by 8. Boo. Again, seemed a little chaotic and they are on the new side adjusting to the "new norm". I will ALWAYS support local and you should too! Not what you'd expect from a restaurant in a strip mall, that's for sure. The space is beautiful with a vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, and a large modern Italian bar. And, most importantly, the food backs it up. The bone in pork w/ vinegar peppers was a fantastic upscale take on a classic; there was great zing from the acid, as they thankfully weren't shy with it. My wife and I ordered a couple of apps, and they automatically split the dishes up for us, which I thought was a wicked class move. The meatballs were quite tasty, to boot. read more
