They quoted my Mother, $650.00 for repairs that were not needed. They are crooks!! Don't go there!!

I took my car to chevron around the corner from Rossmoor on Tice valley rd. They fixed it, the bill was about $600.00 after I got my receipt I checked the items that they needed to "purchase" one was engine air filter at auto zone it's $25.00, repair shop charged me $41.00, the sensor at auto zone is $154.99, the repair shop charged me $252.00 So I paid $199.00 for diagnostic Installation $89.50 2 items Parts $252.00 + $41.00 plus sales tax Their parts charge $113.00 was above and beyond cost. Shame on chevron repair shop for ripping seniors unsuspected auto repair charges. SHAME on them! read more

I am so disappointed in this Chevron. I pulled into your station this afternoon, 7/22, around 3:45pm because I needed some air in one tire. When I arrived there was a older woman in car distress. She had a flat and was adjacent to your pumps and your office. She had already borrowed a tire gauge from your office. Not one of your employees came out to help her. It was 90 degrees outside and I would have expected someone from a FULL SERVICE Chevron to help her. Instead, I got her jack out and started to help her (I'm a 51 year old woman in a skirt!). I will be sending this on to corporate. I'm just so sad to have come away filthy, hot and with sore knees because your staff wouldn't offer help to this lady. Edit: the owner contacted me to let me know they are not a full service station on the weekends. So, there should have been no expectation of an employee helping. I'm still a believer in helping those in need. read more

One day I needed gas and pulled into this Chevron. Apparently, I drove up to the full service pumps. The employee came out and looked at me and asked " Are you sure you want full service"? It's .40c more to get the full service treatment. I said no thank you and drove to the self serve pumps. Even though they were self service, they were the cleanest pumps I've used. This is the cleanest Chevron I've been to. You could eat off these pumps. I think it's due to the location near Rossmoor. I suspect that the local old folks community expects that. read more

I just tried to fill my car at this location. The pump would not clear, after my cc was inserted and authorized and nothing. The previous sale of $40.00 remained on the screen. I went into the office twice to request that it be cleared...no luck...the attendant...name of Alicia was rude and unhelpful. I am complaining to management on Monday and NEVER patronizing this station again! it doesn't deserve the one star. read more

Brought my car in for non functioning A/C. Was hoping to just find out the problem and see if I could afford the solution (AC compressors are pricey!). Terrible service...The mechanic charged me $68.20 (it should be $26.95)for smog inspection on my brand-new 2011 BMW, which was not necessary as stated by the DMV...ripping off a customer is not ethical...I will report it to DMV...When I went back asking my money back, they sounded like idiots...they did not know the state rules...I think this autocare center is good for older cars...I would never recommend it to anyone anymore. read more

Always find myself stopping here for a quick couple gallons to keep me on the road. Not ur cheap gas n go spot but it is accessible and they have a mechanic ready for any quick fix, maintenance, or il change. read more

Not only is the Rossmoor Chevron an organized and clean service station, , but the Manager there, Rick, is very community-minded. Rick is very generous about letting local youth have occasional car washes there for fund-raising for the teens. We live in the neighborhood and very much appreciate his commitment to helping local teens. THANK YOU RICK! read more

they are always polite. I go there for gas and have had a couple minor repairs done, and they didn't rip me off on the labor like some places would. I plan to go there if my car needs more work done in the future. read more

I live in Danville but I travel to Rossmoor Chevron when I need comprehensive or minor services for my car. The mechanics are especially helpful and knowlegeable, and I don't feel as if they are over charging or requesting unnecessary work for my car. Their pricing is fair, and they complete repairs in a timely manner. I was recently involved in a fender bender and dealt with an uncooprative insurance evaluator, but Rick, the station manager, helped to resolve the dispute regarding car expenses. I was impressed with Rick's helpfulness. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this station for car maintenance! If you are going to the dealer to have routine maintenance done, you are paying WAY TO MUCH, and chances are the customer service you are getting is inferior to that of Rossmoor Chevron! These people treat you like you would like to be treated by ALL businesses that provide a service! They are honest, do not overcharge (in fact they are VERY reasonable), do not try to sell you things you don't need or want, and are very efficient and customer oriented. The mechanic, Alex, is worth his weight in gold! This young man exudes confidence and honesty; he performs excellent work in a very short period of time! My oil change took under 1/2 hour today and I'm very confident the work was performed correctly! Rick, the General Manager, is a fine example of a businessman who knows the value of loyalty, and he works hard everyday to keep his customers happy and pleased to have done business with them. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing a terrific service right across the street from Rossmoor. Tell them that Laurie sent you! read more

DO NOT take your car here for any service, period. Outrageous prices for both labor and parts. Sister in-law took her car in due to a "check engine" light. They took her wheels off for no reason and wanted $250 to fix a "loose" wheel bearing. Sounds unsafe right? Well surprise they could not fix it because they did not have the tools to do the job. They charged $250 to replace the bottom radiator hose. Another $250 to replace a cam sensor, and another $250 to replace an air filter. Get your gas there no problem, but never go there for any service. Shame on them for taking advantage of people. read more
