Everytime I come to the Bay Area Rosys cafe is a must! Fresh amazing breakfast. Mexican, American both are great choices. Amazing service, consistent on their serving. Great vibes, not too loud. If you're passing by you should definitely check it out.

Located in the Grocery Outlet plaza. Very small dining area. Really good food. Great service. Fast plating. In and out in under and hour. I would recommend.

Ordered the large hobo, chicken fried steak, and churro flavored French toast. The large hobo consisted of linguica, potatoes, cheese, bell peppers, and onions, and it tasted great as one would expect from all those ingredients. The chicken fried steak was still crispy despite the gravy which was amazing. The steak itself was cooked just right, not too tough. The churro flavored French toast was a great dessert, was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and as a fan of churros the taste was great!

My new favorite breakfast/brunch place in the area! The pancakes here are super fluffy and buttery. Portion is generous and food comes out fast. I also tried the steak and the pork chop, both are delicious. You can't go wrong with the Mexican hot chocolate either.

Sunday afternoon busy but service is always quick friendly and the people come and go very smoothly. Never disappoints. Food is perfect every time. Never leave here hungry that's for sure. Diner vibe and my kids especially like all the toys and trinkets for sale.

I was in the neighborhood and it was brunch time on a Sunday. I have been here a couple of times, they serve a nice breakfast, American and Mexican choices. Walking in, it was packed but a few tables in the back which I have never been. The wait people were busy but friendly. They took my order quickly and the food was delivered relatively quickly too, not rushed. Someone stopped occasionally to check in. On this occasion, I ordered the huevos rancheros. It was a nice portion with rice and beans, whatever. the egg was cooked just so for me to break and have it run on tortilla and rest of my egg. Together with the rice and beans, a good balance. Pay at the front counter by informing the cashier the table number. There was a back up at the counter as take out pick up and paying diners ahead of me trying to get out. Otherwise, an eventual and pleasant meal.

After years of living in Hayward, I'm surprised this was my first time making it to Rosy's Cafe! If you're looking for a no-frills, hearty breakfast, this is your spot. My husband and I stopped by on a weekend late morning because we wanted a filling breakfast and we definitely got it here. There was a lot of hustle and bustle when we arrived, and even though the restaurant was practically full, we were seated immediately. Service is so quick here so it makes sense that even folks who dined in were in and out. We ordered the country fried steak & eggs along with the chorizo & eggs and a strawberry agua fresca. Both dishes were really good and the portions were huge. If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the chorizo & eggs again because it was really flavorful. The agua fresca was refreshing, but wish it had more strawberry flavor. It tasted a little watered down. Prices were pretty reasonable all around. Fun little add on: they also sell some toys by the front. You can get action figures and even lafufus. Open for dinner starting 7/31!

Can not remember why I had went to Hayward. My bf and I ended up looking for a spot they made egg rolls because we needed it for an event and saw this cafe and we decided to go and try it it's a family owned business, the two waiters young ladies were amazing and sweet. We ordered huevos rancheros and a Denver omelet it was so yummy and very fulfilling.the place gets super packed.Would recommend for sure.

First time here, walked in and we were seated immediately. We came on a Sunday and there was lots of customers inside. Restaurant was very busy. There is a lot of seating available, customer service is friendly and fast. The volume inside the restaurant is LOUD as employees holler at each other from across the restaurant and its like an organized chaos going on type of vibe/ambiance (due to the employees and how they communicate) Food is good, very flavorful and authentic I enjoyed my meal and so did my son Prices are reasonable Parking is easy to come by and parking lot is safe No alcohol served (no mimosas )

    Entrance of establishment!

Horrible service, which affects the food delivery. I've directed my office team to avoid this place at all cost.

    Does Rosy's sell chorros?

No. The closest churros item is the churros-style French toast.

What are the hours on Sat and Sun?

They for sure open at 7am but I believe they close no later than 3pm but no earlier than 2pm.

Did prices go up? I love Rosy's but seems like every time I go the price goes up. I understand everything is going up in price but I go every few weeks and each time the price is higher. Can the Yelp menu prices be updated?? 🥰

Every restaurant we go to Saint like the prices of everything is going up.price of product cost of doing business. The last time I was at Rosies the prices were in line with everybody else.

What are the hours of operation?

We are closed at the moment due to small fire accident We will be back in a month around…

Why isn't Rosy answering the phone? Are they open?

Steven V. They answered for me when I dialed (510) 363-8693. Not sure what time you dialed and what number it was that you dialed.

A lot of places don't make their chilaquiles sauce from scratch. We'd definitely return. The only thing I'd pass on is the Vietnamese coffee. We had the purple-colored Ube Pancakes and the Khao Hom Waffle, which contained strips of fresh coconut meat, and both beautifully-plated dishes were topped with berries and syrup. I was an even bigger fan of the Thai side of the menu, starting with the Papaya Salad, a refreshing, crunchy mixture of shredded papaya, green beans, tomatoes, and crushed peanut in a spicy, sweet, acidic dressing made of fish sauce and lime. For our mains, the Northern Thai Khao Soi was a noodle soup made of egg noodles and chicken breast strips in a rich coconut curry, topped with crispy egg noodles, pickled cabbage, and fried shallots. From the Chef's Special menu, the Tom Yum Crab Omelet was a mound of jasmine rice enveloped with an egg omelet, topped with chunks of crab, mushrooms, and a creamy tom yum sauce; and my favorite dish was the Roti Gai Tod, a hearty combination of breaded chicken thigh, roti (a flaky flatbread), cucumber salad, jasmine rice, and a mild but flavorful yellow curry sauce on the side. Overall, everything we tried here was delicious, and the service was super quick and friendly too! Khao Hom Waffle- coconut pandan waffle with fruits and syrup on the side. I wish they replaced the syrup with coconut milk syrup for better flavor and used no coconut shreds as a topping. Ube Pancake (side order)- one thick ube pancake that turned out dry when eaten with syrup. Never order anything that is not Thai on the menu. They should add Thai Tea pancakes to their menu with housemade Thai Tea syrup to make it more fusion. Pad Kee Mao w/ Chicken- I regret ordering this because the string beans were half raw, the tofu was dry, and the dish was a bit spicy. I should've ordered Pad Thai or Ka-Pow Short Rib Benedict instead. Thai Tea- strong and sweet, not too watery. It was less crowded when we arrived at 10 am on the weekend. The waitresses were fast and efficient, and the restaurant was nice and spacious.

They are a great snack while you wait for your meal. 9/10 - The ube pancakes: These were pretty solid. I didn't think that the pancakes themselves had a very strong ube flavor, if any. I think all of the flavor was in the ube coconut sauce that they come with. However, there is only sauce on the first layer so you might want to get extra! It is an additional $2.75 or so to get the extra side of ube sauce, though. The pancakes themselves could have been a little more moist and fluffy, as they were a bit dry and dense. I loved the fruit and sauce, so that definitely made up for it! I'm glad that I got to try, but I don't think I'd get them again. Instead, I would get a regular pancake and a side of the ube coconut cream! 8/10 - The chorizo burrito: My bf said that this was also a pretty good option. He thought that it could have been a bit more flavorful, but was still satisfied with his meal! 7.5/10 - The side of hash browns: These were good, as to be expected! We sat in the back portion of the restaurant, which seems to possibly be a new addition for them? I'm not sure. I liked all of the picture framework in the front of house, with cute bacon and egg play on jokes. Menus are worn out. Could use a reprint or lamination, but that's minor. Food: Ordered the beignets, a corned beef hash breakfast meal (husband's dish), and a 3 egg pancake combo for myself. Yum! The beignets are more doughy than I expected, but tasted fresh. This is not your princess and the frog beignet, more of a doughnut puff type? I don't know how to describe it exactly, haha. The staff was accommodating in putting their vanilla and chocolate sauces on the side for dipping which I appreciated. Pancake was good, eggs cooked well (I love a place that knows how to cook a soft scramble), while their home fries are not what I expected (I think I typically prefer a more crispy potato), this showed me that I can possibly save myself time in the future when making at home. While not crispy, the home fries were delightful, entirely cooked through with a thin crisp edge. Staff: very kind! You know it is a family run business. The only thing I found mildly off putting was that one of the young servers wore his pajama bottoms. It did not feel like something a server should wear. But, if the place is a "come as you are" kind of a place, I understand. Overall: we will come back. Good food for a good price. Overall a good atmosphere and positive vibe.
