Had lunch here today. Spent $35 on 2 rice plates, 1 kids meal with drinks for everyone. I've been to Roti many times but feel this location offered much smaller portions. My assumption was confirmed when I asked for an extra side of garlic sauce and they asked for $.50 because kid's meals don't come with sauce. And of course I pay the extra, only to discover the small container is a quarter full. Disappointing. This place will nickel and dime you. read more

I am glad that this place opened up. I am tired of the same old restaurants. I don't have too much experience with Mediterranean food and I am a picky eater. I was able to find something I love, a pita pocket sandwich. I think that it is a good place for me to be introduced to this type of food. I can customize my sandwich to my liking and I like the way the food is seasoned. The other thing is that it is a lot healthier than most other restaurants. Kinda okie, its not about the location. They need to have more options. I must have eaten so much that I am saturated and at a point where I would like to give up. I'm totally obsessed and come about once a week! The food is amazing and the place is always busy. My only complaint is that the other day an employee told me he'd have to charge me 50 cents for an extra ladle (which is literally less than a tablespoon) of vinaigrette... I have to say the roti chicken pita is excellent. Everything tastes extremely fresh. I would agree that it is sort of similar to chipotle in terms of ambiance and set up. It's even a great place for someone who has never really tried Mediterranean. The only thing I am a little disappointed in is the portion size for what it costs. You are going to spend about $10+ per person if you get drink or any specialty items. I've been there several times now and I noticed today the portion sizes are even smaller. I usually go every couple of months. I'd probably go more frequently if it was less pricey because it is fast and good. read more

While they had Spanish Eggplant on the menu of sides, "sorry, we no longer carry it". The sauces were more like salad dressings which " would make your sandwich kind of soggy, sorry". To start with, the parking situation was pretty bad on a Saturday night and took 15 minutes of circling before we got a spot in the way back of the buildings. However, the food was real good I thought. A lot of good flavors. I tried each side and topping because you are allowed to put every ingredient in a wrap. My favorite was probably the eggplant. It looks exactly like Chipotle inside and the food reminds me of it to for some reason even though it is totally different options and flavors. I'm sure an actual sit down Mediterranean restaurant in the city is way better but to m me ur was delicious and healthy and convenient so I will definitely go there again. read more

They obviously hired away a Chipotle exec since the service experience tries to replicate Chipotle. And it works. Food was fine, more than serviceable for a fast lunch, line moves quickly. Wife and brought our 2 yr old along. Was fine since the dining room is noisy during lunch. No other patrons were bothered. Note: if you want the hummus side, you need to grab it at the cooler in the front of the line, before sandwich assembly line. Will go there again....and bring friends. read more

Just was there for lunch today. I have been to mediterranean places before and this was one of the worst ones. I got the falafel/rice plate. The rice were somewhat uncooked, the falafel were bland. Hummus wasn't too good either..... I didn't try any meat items so can't say anything about that. That place itself was nice to sit and have lunch and was packed. My first time there was also my last -- never again! Set aside entirely the surly counter-folk as well as the meager portions in the beef Laffa wrap and the lamb-meatball salad. The zesty flavors of various sides and sauces were pleasant but the only thing modestly warm was the disproportionately sized pita-tilla dotted with ingredients. Both the lamb meatballs and the S'Hug sauce are labeled as spicy and they surely are, wonderfully so. Ingredients all look and taste fresh. But all that seeming goodness -- despite the relatively high price, really -- was for naught because the badness of its ejections, starting in the wee hours, was, for me (a would-be gourmand of iron guts) unprecedented and debilitating. I mean: diarrhea and vomiting, each and both together most nastily. I'll give Roti one star for the concept and the flavors, and for the sole call I was able to make this morning to the local food inspector. This food is not great. they didnt even have everything out yet on the bar, but they had been opened atleast 40 minutes. Very limited selection to choose from already so... i had ordered the rice plate with chicken kabob...Now I thought Mediterranean food was supposed to be known for their spices? A few issues with Roti, my 1st visit at lunchtime, the food was great the only problem I had was that the women's restroom is not maintained well. We tried it again and arrived at 7:00 on Sunday evening after a very long day and were hungry, my daughter ordered the spicy lamb meatball sandwich/roll and there were only 3 very dry meatballs left and the people refused to make any fresh ones and opted to add a falafel to it !?! The amount of add ins this time were also minimal and not much of a selection available at that time, most of the containers of sauce and pickles, veggies etc were empty and when we asked they said " there's no more" , I'm guessing too close to closing time for them to bother having all of the items available. That being said, we were given less than what we paid for. The App is also very disappointing. Un-readable menu, no full receipts shown just amount paid and no app ordering. I really wanted to 5 star this place but it's not getting better. read more

It's not the same Roti we visited years ago, that's for sure. They have clearly gone the cheaper cafeteria style. Flavors are still good. But the crappy paper plate barely held the cold rice with 3 heavy sides of which the main entree, chicken, was cold too. It was tough stabbing dry chicken with plastic utensils. By the time two of us paid at the counter the bill was $28 dollars. Everything was extra. Suggestions? Put paper towels in the bathroom so you can open the door and try regular dishes. Been here a few times now. I've had the chicken roti, chicken kabob, and steak roti. The chicken roti is very good, the chicken kabob is more bland than eating a plain hot dog, and the steak is extremely undercooked each time I've had it. I eat my steaks medium rare, but I know when I see an undercooked steak. I am extremely disappointed in their ability to cook steak and I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
