disclaimer, i'm not a sweets person ‼i think this spot is overhyped? their donuts are yellow and comes out warm but taste-wise, it tastes just like a donut? Wasn't anything special to me!

Their donuts are made fresh, and have a pleasant orange color to them. (They don't taste orange).

Round Rock is one of my two favorite donut spots in Texas. The other being Duck Donuts. I stop by RR Donuts anytime I'm going down I35.

By far some of the best donuts I've ever had! Anytime I'm even near Round Rock I got out of my wash to get these donuts. My favorite is the classic glaze hot and fresh! The maple is really good too. It reminds me of Canada with all the delicious maple things there. My 1 year old devoured too many donut holes to count and embarrassed to admit that she had so many. We will definitely be back and glad my daughters love them as much as me!

Oh, Round Rock you had me at donuts. Round Rock Donuts has been around since 1926 and it's easy to understand why they remain a staple in the area. They're known for specific specialties such as the "Texas" donut which is as big as my butt. Ok well, maybe not but close. It's a 14" donut! The cinnamon rolls are just as ginormous. They have regular-sized donuts, donut holes, kolaches, and mini-donuts. Another specialty is their glazed yellow donut (color from fresh eggs). Yeast-risen donuts. The double chocolate (cake style) mini-donut is my favorite. The bakery offers walk-up window service as well as drive-thru. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They get really busy and are open 4:30 am-6:30 pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lines start to form as soon as kids get out of school for the day. RR Donuts are absolutely worth the hype!

This place is legendary for a reason. I always recommend avoiding the drive-thru in favor of actually standing in line and going up to their walk up window because it'll save you minutes on the hour. A few things to knock out briefly: Their kolaches are pretty good, and I'm always getting at least one when I pull up. Their black coffee stands on its own. It's some peak donut shop coffee. Now the rest: Their donuts are so gas. They are bright orange, yeasty, and incredible. It's hard to explain what the difference really is between them and everywhere else, but if you try one of their glazed donuts fresh out the box, it's undeniable. Their cake ones are also fantastic. It's interesting to never see those get the praise that their glaze gets. As a whole, their donuts are still on par with most places' prices. They're not overcharging because they're popular. You gotta love it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I guess the only downside is there is no where nearby to sit and destroy them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You want me to drive home after getting my donuts. I want to sit and stare at the clouds while I make the donuts go Houdini. It's amazing being so close to them that I always go when my girlfriend is in town. At work, my team was gifted one of their Texas-Sized Donuts and that guy was incredible. I was cutting off bits all day. A volunteer at work always brings some Round Rock Donuts on the last Thursday of every month, and I always pig out. It's gotten to a point that he reminds me about him bringing them. I'm so helpless. Minus the donut that is big, their donuts aren't gimmicky, they aren't "gourmet" with unique toppings. They are just beautifully orange and perfectly airy like a dinner roll. Life is good when Round Rock Donuts exists. RIYL: Waiting in line for donuts

I had heard about this place for months so, my daughter and I decided to drive over from Manor and try it out. It did not disappoint! There was quite a line. (It was Saturday morning)... however, it was efficient and ran smoothly getting our order out in a timely manner. The doughnut itself was really good. It's soooo big! Think one dozen doughnuts in single sitting. We didn't get to try the frozen coffee because the machine was down. So, we'll be back!

I probably won't come here again. The donuts, in my opinion were sub-par. The dough they use is not fluffy at all I held my donut and it completely deflated between my fingers. I don't know how to explain it but the texture was to "elastic" for me. I like my donuts to be more dense. The glaze was super messy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The line was wrapped around the building so this place obviously is well liked by many in this area it's just not for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I personally would not wait in a long line for these

Super yummy! It's the OG for a reason. By far my favorite was the little donut holes. I liked the powdered donut too but it was more of a cake donut. I'm sure the regular glazed donuts was probably amazing based off the little donut holes. Convenient parking and friendly service. Will be back!

Donuts were so good!! Especially the large sized glazed! The dude taking orders outside could be friendlier. Maybe they're nicer at the Cedar Park location:/

Glazed, Red Velvet, and Blueberry Donuts. The Glazed Donut definitely stood out and is absolutely amazing!

Have heard about Round Rock Donuts from many and finally decided to give them a try! Came here on Saturday and Sunday morning, during a Texas Cold front, and there was definitely a good line of donut-seeking customers! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a nice display of donuts at the center of their window, with two ordering lines.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Glazed, Red Velvet, and Blueberry Donuts. The Red Velvet was good, the Blueberry was average, and the Glazed Donut was absolutely amazing! The Glazed Donut was warm, fluffy, and proportionately bigger than a typical donut. Highly recommend and personally would say that is their signature item. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here the following morning during the Austin-International Half Marathon to get some donuts at 630 in the morning and loved the aesthetics of lights.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely made the mood better during the 28 degree weather![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!

My donut was amazing!!! Service was fast. We got a few of the strawberry frosted donuts and a few glazed donuts, both were amazing and warm. Just underwhelming when we saw flies flying around the donuts in the shop display

WOWZER! What tasty donuts! My first time here and I'm thrilled! Delicious donuts, friendly staff and fast service. I myself, did not like the kolachi, I asked what was inside of it and was told " two meats", it was a mini hot dog. Yuck. I Highly Recommend the donuts. A+

Ive been meaning to try this place forever. If the triple A baseball team chooses your product as their alter ego, the donuts cant be THAT bad, right? Turns out, theyre pretty dang good. Yours truly went with the tried and true standard glazed donut. Sure, they had sprinkled, iced, cinnamon roles and kolaches but, as a newbie, I needed to walk before I could run. It was great; warm, super soft, sweet but not coyingly so. High marks. The staff was friendly and inviting. You walk up, place your order at the window and then a guy runs it out to you. Bing-Bang-Boom.

When you go and get the hot fresh baked donut they just melt in your mouth. I recommend the glaze and Bismarck cream filled donuts most.

We've always loved the quality of their cakes and were happy to support a local business, which is why it's disappointing that we won't be able to continue using them this year. Historically, we've paid around $135 for the same style of birthday cake. This year, we were quoted $235 for essentially the same cake--a price increase of more than 70%. While I completely understand that costs have gone up and businesses have had to adjust pricing due to inflation and increased vendor costs, this level of increase feels excessive, especially for a child's birthday cake. I reached out to Diane, the owner, to better understand the significant jump in pricing. After about a week, I received a response stating that their vendors' prices had increased. While I appreciate the explanation, it doesn't change the fact that a more than 70% increase is difficult for many families to justify. This review isn't meant to criticize the quality of their work, which has always been excellent. Rather, it's to share the experience of a long-time customer who has unfortunately been priced out after years of supporting the business. It's disappointing to have to look elsewhere after so many years, but at the current pricing, we simply can't justify the cost.

I just ran out to grab somethings and hadn't had breakfast. So I just typed in coffee place and chose the most unique name near me. Oof I walked in and it was beautiful with what looked like gourmet pastries and coffee. Not a place to be covered in dirt and grass clippings. But I was already there, the coffee smelt good and I saw a matcha croissant (I love matcha) so I ordered to go. The girls in front of me bought the last one, but they very quickly made me another one and they were far too nice The food was spectacular and the best I've had in a long moment! We were exited to take my niece to the 'unicorn place' and support a plant based shop. It was super cute and she was excited about the decor and unicorns. Came a little after 9am on a Friday, it was maybe half full, but it took about 40 minutes to get two lemon tofu toasts. I was patient until my niece was getting antsy, she finished her pastry, we both finished our mediocre coffees, still no toast... I checked and the Apple Pay time stamp went through more than 30 minutes prior. I asked staff if our toast was still coming and they replied rudely like I was being a jerk to even ask. Pagers for food when they went off were obnoxious beeping. Just give people a table number and carry it out to them. Maybe they have one little toaster and person in the back? That said once the food came, the tofu was DELICIOUS, and a large portion. We could have split it. Croissant was unimpressive as was their chocolate croissant. Macarons were tasty, but not with the signature chew that ones made with egg whites would have. $$ Two plain lattes, two lemon toasts, a chocolate croissant and 6 macarons with a $5 tip was $88. Pretty ridiculous, and I am used to California, Bay Area prices.
