    Lots of ranch provided!

The service here used to not be so great. We came in tonight and the guy at the front was AMAZING! Truly cared about this business and our experience. I don't leave reviews often, but this experience was worthy! Food was great also!

    Pepsi...BOO...!!!

I grew up in California, and while Shakey's Pizza Parlor was probably the first my family frequented, Round Table later became our favorite. Now that I no longer live in California, one of my first meals when I return to California is always Round Table. This time we met my brother and niece for pizza at the location in Atascadero. It was a Friday night, so the place was pretty packed. There was a long line to place our order, but we didn't have to wait too long to get our pizzas. However, they never served our salads until we asked about them after the pizzas had already been delivered. One thing that stands out is how expensive Round Table pizza has become over the years. If you don't have an online coupon, you could easily pay $50 for an extra large pizza and some drinks. My other complaint is that they now serve Pepsi Cola instead of Coke. I spent most of my life eating pizza at Round Table, and I always enjoyed drinking a Coke with my pizza. As a result, Pepsi simply doesn't taste like it goes with pizza. So, I ended up not ordering a soft drink, because I have never liked the taste of Pepsi.

I'm only giving this place a one star because I have to to leave a review. I'm absolutely appalled that the service that I got at this establishment. Myself and my friend took our kids hiking and we wanted to stop for dinner afterwards. Candy the lady at the register and let us know that there were no drinks, including water. We ordered an almost $100 of food which included 2 salad bars. The salad bar was dangerously low and what was in there was definitely from days prior, messy, and old veggies. That's not even the worst part. I ordered a drink that was in a can, (that's all they had was beer.) and the woman at the register "Candi" handed me a can with a dirty top that was not able to be drinking out of and when I asked her if it was OK to give customers drinks like that, she completely ignored me.. and gave me a dirty look. She did not even offer me a cup to put my disgusting drink in or to wash it off. About 15 minutes of waiting for food candy goes over and get a fountain soda. My husband got up and asked if the drink was now working and she said yes. Instead of offering the customers who got no drinks a drink order she served herself a big old soda and walked right past us. The can that candy gave me was so dirty. I couldn't even get the remnants off in the bathroom. That was also disgusting might I add! Avoid at all costs! Do not take your family here!

I especially love coming here for happy hour from 4-5 PM and again from 8 PM until close. And if you're lucky enough to get Luis as your server, you're in for an extra-special treat. The ambiance…read moreis lovely, the service is wonderful, the drinks are top notch, but the food is disappointing. The red sauces always seem to give me heartburn, so I thought Id try the Rosemary Chicken. It was undercooked, the mashed potatoes tasted like instant-absolutely no flavor whatsoever-and the roasted broccolini was so hard and crunchy it might as well have been raw. I took most of the chicken home and after cooking it at 350 for 20 minutes it was tolerable. My husband's butternut squash ravioli was a much better choice, and since it was so rich he could only eat half of it, I got to take it home and have it for lunch the next day. So far, it's the only thing on the menu that has lived up to expectations. Really, is it so hard to make a traditional Italian dish? A good plate of spaghetti with meat sauce would be a welcome addition. Or a good Pasta Primavera. And how about a lasagna that actually has filling? I wish their chef de cuisine would take a trip to Italy and learn how to prepare real Italian cuisine. This is pathetic.

Good price as well like $12.99 for buffet, I got water cup so like $15 with soda. Good value. The only thing that was kind of annoying is one of the kids games from the game room the volume is so loud even when you're sitting on the farthest end of the dining room. Other than that maybe I'll bring my earplugs next time.

This is an update regarding an establishment my family used to love visiting. As I mentioned…read morebefore, this was our go-to pizza spot--always clean, welcoming, and enjoyable. Unfortunately, after our last few visits, things have changed significantly. While the employees are generally friendly, customer service and management decisions have become a major disappointment. We were told that this location does not honor coupons or discounts, including promotions advertised through Mountain Mike's website and app. Employees stated that the owners operate independently and have a policy against accepting those deals. Despite the high prices, we decided to stay and order a large pizza and wings at full cost. When the pizza arrived, it was disappointing. It was dry, had very little cheese, and the toppings were sparse and unevenly distributed. It certainly wasn't the quality we've come to expect. The wings were an even bigger issue. After we had already eaten about half of our pizza, I had to ask if our wings were ready. That's when we discovered they had been forgotten entirely, despite an employee assuring us when the pizza was delivered that the wings would be out shortly, after an hour... they never came out and we cancelled the order. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the direction this location has taken. Between refusing advertised discounts, charging premium prices, serving subpar food, and lacking attention to customer service, it's hard to justify returning. Customer service is a skill that needs to be valued and taught. If discounts and specials are advertised, they should be honored. These promotions are meant to help customers, especially during times when prices continue to rise. For now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere until I start hearing more positive reviews. Just a heads-up from a longtime pizza lover of Mountain Mike's.

She was excited to get into A-Town and wanted to spin by Traffic Records, but first Wild Fields Brewhouse. Located near the theater in what seemed like an under used strip mall, Wild Fields anchors down a large portion of the building. It felt like a German brewhouse, walking into a wine, open room with bar and booth seating, along with picnic tables. Arcade games dotted the far walls and the kitchen located at the end of the bar. Lots of stainless steel behind the roll up door with a list of what's :in the tanks" on thew glass behind the bar. The top list showed 20 beers available with Berliner Weiss listed as a 3.99 beer. Nice touch, and show this 3.99 beer rotates, as I returned a few days later. After finishing reviewing all the breweries in Paso for the SLO Beer Guide, A-Town was next on my list, but hadn't got down there until this visit. Talking to a couple at Cal Coast, they both agreed that Learning to Fly was their favorite IPA, so that was my mission, to check out this beer. That said, we each got a flight of beers to share and was able to sample 8 different beers from Atascadero Beach, 4101, Windswept Fields and Porch Drinkin' to Mouse Rock, Hop Clarity and License to Fill. We also tossed in Three Bridges and Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, Learning to Fly was sold out, so we left with a can as well as Cloudbreak. The beers, flawless. While not every style I faithfully drink, like brown ales or a Marzen, but am experienced enough to know a well crafted beer when I taste one. Three Bridges won gold at WBC and GABF in 2022, as did Atascadero Beach. MY second trip back I sampled their English Brown Ale, Pine Mountain Monolith, which took home gold in 2021 and 2022 from GABF and WBC, repeating that in 2022 at GABF. As was recommended to me, Learning to Fly, the 7% WCIPA was incredible. As I summerized in my beer review, "Wild Fields' first flight and still a defining one. Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra at 7% ABV and 100 IBU -- citrusy, piney, dank, tropical, crushable. The brewery's own mixtape, played from the very beginning. Still sounds good." We didn't sample any food while we were there, but they do have an extensive menu in place. Seems like a fun place to hang out and grab some beer and food. We will be back, thanks for the great beer!

It's super family friendly, and our son loves the toddler play area. Our nieces also love the arcade games, so it's a great spot for kids and families. The beer is the best we've had in Atascadero, especially the west coast-style pale ales and IPAs like Atasca-where-o, Afraid of the Grade, Mouse Rock, and Hop Clarity. The staff has always been great, the indoor/outdoor space is awesome for groups, and having a full kitchen makes it even better. We even hosted a small lead-in gathering there the night before our son's 1st birthday party, and it was perfect. We're excited to keep coming back and becoming regulars.
