Whoever called this stuff pizza was drinking some good stuff. Sure, I expected chain-style, low-flavor, low personality pizza. This broke the bank. The good: phone was answered promptly and courteously. All questions were answered. Pizza was ready on time. I ordered the Italian Garlic Supreme. It smelled good. It ate horribly. The "creamy garlic" sauce had the consistency and look of puss. The meat was of such low quality that it shouldn't have been sent out of the packing plant. I went to this terriable resturant with my son and daughter to get pizza and wings and when I went to pay with$100 bill the girl at the counter and owner couldn't tell if it was real and didn't except my money, even though the bill has all the security features and is 100% real.... we left and went to upper crust pizza... DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT.... went to the bank that I got the bill from and it was legal tender... know what your doing before you turn someone away and suggest that there money is counterfit and by the way I had $1000 on me and they didn't even ask for another form of payment ).... 100% satisfied! I called and ordered carry out and the owner himself answered and took my order. Ordering was easy and food was ready in 10 mins. I ordered a loaded meat pizza and they weren't skimpy on the toppings. Also had an order of cheesy garlic twist which were also good served with marinara sauce and creamy ranch. The food is great. It's the delivery service that is a problem. Website says - "food will be ready in 20 minutes" - implying that this is based on actual activity in the kitchen. Then, estimates a delivery time of an additional 25 minutes. 45 minutes total, not bad. Now, I'm at nearing 90 minutes and nothing. After calling to inquire, I get excuses about being short-staffed - as if this should be the customer's problem. Offer of a credit, or something for nothing - or anything to show commitment to good customer service? No. Oh, there was an offer to re-make it, if it arrives cold. SERIOUSLY? As if I want to wait ANOTHER 90 minutes. Should have just gone to Billy's in PS - it's better anyway. Update: When order finally arrived - the driver informed me that the entire order was re-made. Always good pizza from Round Table and a treat because they are almost obsolete. The staff at the Cat City Round Table is very kind, polite and go out the way. I ordered dinner and the staff put together a care package for my wife so I can drop off some dinner for her since she works nights. Thanks again for everything. Ordered a large specialty (Wombo). Ordered to go pickup. Since it has lots of toppings, I asked for "crispy crust". I picked it up and the crust was cooked as requested. It really makes the difference. I have had the same issue with other Round Table as the other guy, the crust doesn't cook right. So I just simply asked and they delivered. I am knocking a star off becuase I think the front register area has a "mop smell". Aside from that we really liked our pizza. read more

Best tasting pizza in Cathedral city! They stay true to quality ingredients and great service! Whether you're dining in or ordering delivery, the service is awesome. Manager Dave was very helpful. Walking in it smells like a port a potty, the smell never goes away. The fountain soda machine had food on the bottom and grime and gunk all over it. Disgusting! I have no idea how this place is open. The health department needs to shut this place down. Women's restroom was horrible. Overflowing toilets full of human waste. Filthy floors. You can see back to the kitchen and even that is a hot ass mess. Pizza dropped with grease. The ranch sauce that they served with breadsticks was old. A huge disappointment. Friday night, phoned in my order, advised it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived to pick up in 15 and the pie was ready and was being kept warm . Told a staffer I was there to pick up a take out order and was told to get in line behind about 8 people waiting to place their orders. I said in a loud voice " you mean I have to wait 15 minutes behind all these people and my pie is ready to go? " . Staffer replied, " sorry there is only 1 line " . Fortunately all but 3 of the people in line let me go ahead of them. Management needs to address this situation ! Usually I love Round Table Pizza and jump at the chance to order it. This particular Round Table made me so disappointed. The pizza seemed old, there wasn't much sauce and the cheese was crusty. The entire pizza was so greasy too. We ordered a size bigger so that we would have left overs and ended up throwing the left overs away because it wasn't even decent the first time, there's no way it would be good as a left over. My family and I had lunch there today, and let me just say that the pizza buffet was super amazing the salad bar had everything you can think of to make a delicious salad not mention that the service was also amazing. Worst service and Pizza we have ever had. Me and my wife eat Round table once a week so we know how the crust should taste and wings should be. We ordered our Pizza at 6:33pm online and had it delivered by 6:56pm. We should have known something was wrong. The dough wasn't cooked all the way and wings weren't even baked plus soggy. When i called to complain to just get a reorder I was rudely told that's how the pizza comes and they can't give refund. Then they asked me to wait until Owner called me back. When the owner called back I was in car bringing pizza back due to the rudeness. When I got there the owner Dave gave me my money but then tried to tell me that's how the pizza is. I reinforced that's BS because I eat all the time Round table . Also he saw the wings and didn't say one word because he knew they we're undercooked. Horrible service from all including Owner and horrible food.. Stay away and go to Dominos next door. Part 2 after Owner Dave response: Once again Dave you even want to continue with the your right and customer is wrong approach. As I expressed if you and Jill would have had some sort of customer service skills I would have had a reorder. You need to learn when a customer is right and for you to be quiet. Instead you want to argue like you just did on yelp. Do you think that makes you look good? Also the wings we're soggy and not baked. I'm sure the wings don't come that way out of corporate. Also I didn't even mention that we originally tried to call I our order but in order to get deal we had to go online. Chicago, Detroit, California, you name it. But finally Round Table Pizza in Cathedral City makes my mouth water! They make the best. My neighbor ordered about every variation they create and each was nothing short of amazing. My favorite? Veggie and just plain cheese and pepperoni! Maybe I am wrong, because pizza can be a very personal choice thing. But try it. Even all my friends have started to agree, this place is pretty special!! Disappointed. I ordered ahead for delivery giving a specific time request of 5:30pm. It was delivered at 4:30pm, one hour before the time requested. Delivery person was very nice and courteous. I picked up a piece of pizza and the crust was limp. Almost all of the toppings came off as soon as lifted from the box. Garden salad was fresh, with the exception of broccoli which was yellow/green. I was in town with 40 people in our group for a girls state soccer tournament. I made a special trip mid morning to the local Round Table to speak with the owner and to make sure that I would have reservations. I was assured that she had my reservation, she showed me where my party would sit and explained how she would block the tables. Five hours later we show up in a driving rain storm and the restaurant is full and the tables are not reserved. I asked to speak with the owner and she would not come out of the kitchen for 20 minutes. When I demanded that she come out and explain to me where I was going to feed the 40 people standing in the rain, she stated that she did not know. I asked her why she did not save the tables and she asked if I was the one who called for reservations earlier. I asked her if she was on drugs because I was in the restaurant and spoke with her only a few hours earlier. She just stared at me with this blank stare. The employees behind the counter verified that my name and phone number were on the reservations sheet. This "owner" never apologized, offered to help in any way, never offered a free anything. She had no problem with leaving 15 soccer players standing in the rain. I have been a huge fan of Round Table and spent Thousands of dollars on their pizza. I will never spend another penny on this company. No wonder they recently filed for bankruptcy protection. 20 plus year loyal customers are completely disregarded. Shame on Round Table for selling these Bozo's a Franchise. Now the local Round Table's in Irvine, CA will see none our our business either.
