Good customer service the old-fashioned way! I've been to this Round Table location several times and have had a consistently good experience each and every time. When you walk in, you're actually greeted with a genuine smile. The same is true when exiting; staff bids you farewell and to have a nice day. That's almost unheard of these days. Additionally, when you call to order a pizza to be delivered or for pickup, they actually answer the phone instead of you having to go through a call center. The food is delicious and they're one of the only locations to have the lunch buffet. Hallelujah! The decor for this location has a modern and friendly vibe, too. Almost a pub type feel. Needless to say, I won't be going to any other Round Table location in the Sacramento area for my pizza needs. Keep up the great work guys! read more

Very good customer service, a clean location and overall good vibes. Sadly the pizza was not. We spent $80+ on a couple pizzas and garlic twists. The chicken garlic was decent, lacked a bit of flavor, but was edible. The twists had no garlic and tastes like nothing. The real problem came with the double play pepperoni stuffed crust. The dough was raw. They took it out way too soon. Saw a bunch of kids making the pizzas so I assume they just rushed it as it was Father's day and they were busy. We won't be eating the pepperoni and will hopefully reach out for a refund or store credit to give this location another chance. This restaurant has consistently good food. The crusts are always tender and fluffy. They are never dried out. I prefer the deeper dish crust. We always get the to go order. A couple of weeks ago I received a mailer that shared some locations offer customer reward night 50% off on Mondays (L or XL take out or dine in only). This location partakes. I ordered a large pepperoni. OTD $15.61 + tip. If regular price, I wouldn't purchase as the quality wasn't up to snuff for me. Taste was mediocre, the dough bubbled up and left bare patches, sauce didn't have much flavor, and pepperoni was not abundant. Service from everyone was kind and jubilant. While a busy night, my pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. I will say that the cashier was visually downtrodden when the tip wasn't a generous amount. I'm just coming off a very difficult time and this is take-out, I can't tip much in this circumstance. I think the owner's story is rad. My friends and I have been reviewing every pizza place in Sacramento in search of some hidden gems and to see who has the best food in town. Our journey has led us to Round Table Pizza which personally is the pizza of my childhood. I haven't had it in about 8 years because Round Table always had the reputation of being so expensive. I was definitely excited to try it now that I've got a more experienced palate for pizza and to see if it lived up to my childhood memory. To start, when we first arrived it was dead. There was 1 employee who was cooking the pizza, charged us out, and everything. It seemed really slow which is probably why there was only 1 worker but she looked bored out of her mind. I would be too if I had nobody to talk to while working. When we walked in she was on her phone, looked at us, went back to looking at her phone, boxed the pizza, and then went back to her phone while we just stood waiting there. It had been about 5 minutes since we walked in and she asked us what we wanted and we said we had a pickup order. she charged us out grabbed a bunch of peppers and parmesan with her bare hands she just accepted change with and then threw the packets inside the box onto the pizza. Service was definitely a 0/10 and if we ever want Round Table, we've decided we'll be going to a different location. As for the pizza, it was 21$ before tipping, and yes we did still tip after all of that but thinking back on it I probably shouldn't have. The quality of the pizza was meh. It had that same roundtable pizza taste I always liked, but the crust has definitely gotten super thick over the years. There are also so many air pockets in the pizza and crust that it really takes away from the sauce and cheese. It seems like the quality has really gone down and we were quite disappointed because this means 7-11 had a higher rated pizza than Round Table which feels wrong. But we have to rate it on what we received. When we rate places it's always out of 10, and a 5/10 means it's as average as it gets. Anything lower than 5 is worse than average while anything higher is better than average. Round table gets a 6.5/10 for the price. It's fairly affordable which surprised me after having grown up hearing it's so expensive. As for flavor we gave it an average of 4.5/10. Flavor is slightly worse than other pizza places, and price is slightly better which leaves is with an overall 5.5/10 for Round Table. It hurts me to write this, but I have to be honest with what was received. read more

We usually go to the Lincoln location and the staff is pretty good (for the most part) Some of the staff charges for ranch and some dont.. which seems odd to charge when i'm buying a large pizza anyways. I just had the most awkward RTP experience and I assure you I will never be returning to this location or quite possibly any RTP for that matter as there are other higher quality options in my area... I ordered my 2 personal pizzas, 1 order of garlic twists and a "small" salad online for $36 and PAID online for my order. (As anyone would do in this tech driven era post COVID-19/ Contactless pick ups/purchases) Upon my arrival it was requested I show my ID or my card that I used for my ONLINE order. I guess they have a lot of fraud issues picking up pizzas? Last I checked pizza dough and sauce was practically free so anyways... it's 2021 I use Apple Pay for everything and unless you're a law authority I'm not pulling out my ID?
