After work on a Friday, I did not feel like cooking, my family was home and hungry, with a friend also visiting. What better way to enjoy some takeout than to call ahead to Round Table and to order an extra large pizza and family sized salad for pick up. Great impression of the young man who answered the phone. He spoke clearly, politely, and immediately offered me four dollars off any extra large pizza. I ordered pepperoni and mushroom toppings, and a family sized Caesar salad. Haven't tried them but most of the other pizza spots in the area. Haven't been happy with the other for one reason or another (too few toppings for the price or quality don't match the price). There is no better pizza chain than RTP. They offer unique ingredients such as linguica, chopped green onions, and artichoke hearts. If you've never had this vegetable on pizza then you're missing out! Round Table is a pricier than most pizza chains but their ingredients are fresh, the pizza is overflowing with toppings, and the cheese to sauce and crust ratio is just right. I normally don't eat the crust edges but at RTP I definitely do because the toppings overflow to the edges. My go to order is the following: tomatoes, green onion, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, pepperoni or linguica, sausage, and to balance out the salty flavors...pineapple! Do yourself a favor and also order some spicy Buffalo wings. Deliciously hot! Everyone's financial situation differs so if this is too pricey then I urge to treat yourself on a special occasion. Was shopping in the area and saw this place. Reminded me of the one I use to go to a long time ago, in West Covina. Kind of enjoyed myself, if I remember correctly. So this place is kind of small, but does have a video/game room, a small bar with a few stools. The girl at the ordering counter was pleasant and helpful. The dinning area was decorated like an average pizza restaurant, had a cool circular fireplace. Place was kind of filthy, with about 4 tables unbused and just left there, approximately 40 minutes, while we were there. The food itself, the wings were good, the garlic bread was tasty, but the pizza fell short of quality pizza. The taste overall was ok, but the crust, especially the edges, were hard as a rock, don't know if it the receipe, or over baked, it just chewed up the inside of my mouth and gums. So basically a low score for this place. I would of enjoyed a dominos pizza more, and definitely would of appreciated the cleanliness over there. read more

Just left this location and saw one of the workers making pizza without gloves. I talked to the lady who made my pizza and she said that all workers are supposed to have gloves. She said"I wear gloves because I have nails." All workers making food for customers should have on gloves. That is the reason for E-coli and Hepatitis. I will be reporting them. read more

I'm only giving this review a 5 because of ROB! Firstly the girl at the register was kinda rude. When she brought our pizza she didn't bring a pizza spatula. Although everyone else had one. I guess I was supposed to break it up with my hands, but no biggie. We proceeded to ask for one and she said "we're all out sorry." Rob was kind enough to say he would wash one for us. Which I truly appreciate. I just wish that people who don't want to work at their job would quit. It makes for bad service, bad energy and a bad experience. When ordering over the phone, I had called the wrong Round Table. I was a little upset that my meal was not ready but the "owner" was super helpful and friendly. He rushed for my order to get done. Yikessssss I reaally hope I dont get sick from eating here. I did an online order and chose a regular pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings. The wings were unedible we had to throw them away. The meat tasted old and mushy and the wings had no flavor. It almost felt like biting into soggy brocolli but atleast that would have tasted better. This Round Table Pizza has a Lunch Buffet for $7.99 (some others a $7.59 personal pizza/salad bar/soda). Buffet is better than you'd expect. Lots of different pizzas came out, Salad bar is nice and fresh, and the garlic cheese bread twists were surprisingly fluffy and warm. Lots of other reviewers complained about bad service and messed up orders. IDK, I always get the buffet for lunch.... no problems here. read more

This is a great place to enjoy pizza & beer, lunch, dinner, on a date, with family..everyone I've ever taken to Round Table absolutely loves their pizza! My favorite is the X-Large Pepperoni or King Arthur Supreme. They have coupons & their pizza's are stacked with quality ingredients, so it's a good deal overall for dine-in, delivery, or take-out. The video games take me back to when the original RT pizza chains openned up in the 80's. I worked at RT Pizza in college at one of the original locations in West Covina, so I know for a fact that RT has a process of making pizza's superior to other Pizza chains from the way they prepare their doe, the ingredients they use, the way they construct the pizza, to the way the pizza is cooked. The owner of this location, Mac, is dedicated to quality & service. They don't have too many places like this around anymore so we need to support places like this. A couple of years ago we lost the China Gate in Montclair, which was the best Chinese food Restaurant in Montclair. Let's do what we can to make sure the best pizza restaurant in Claremont stays here for a long time. What a great place! Our jeep club needed a place to hold our annual meeting and this place did not disappoint. Firstly the owner Max was incredibly helpful organizing our event and knew exactly the right questions and suggestions for what we were doing. He took the time to call me and let me know what he had prepared for the buffet and even brought in extra staff to make sure we were served well. The place was clean and proper as any restaurant should be. The food was excellent and fresh. The beer, well the beer was cold (really what more could you want from beer) and they have a great selection. We brought 80+ jeepers into a pizza place on a Saturday morning and had the best time ever. We will be back next year and looking forward to it. read more

I was looking forward to the Italian garlic supreme and their crispy buffalo wings so I went online to search for coupons since Round Table can get pricey, anyway I saw a coupon for $5 off of an order of $25 or more...sounds good right? So I placed an order for a medium specialty pizza, an order of breadsticks and buffalo wings, after I hit checkout and tried to apply my coupon code, it said it was denied. I know I read the fine print and met the specified dollar amount yet I was not able to use the coupon code. A little bit ticked off, I called the restaurant and explained what happened and I was told they don't know why it wasn't accepted and they don't know anything about web orders.
