Sept 12, 12:55pm at Indian Hill & Arrow, Claremont. Came to buy 2 BMTs, asked for salami on the side since they were charging me double pepperoni. Employee wanted to charge me double for my own meat, told me "go to another Subway", accused me of insulting her when I never did, and laughed when I said I would take a photo to report. Ordered the following: - 1 #1 The Philly Steak and Cheese footlong = $13.59 - 1 Roast Beef footlong = $14.69 SUBTOTAL = $13.99 TAX = $1.36 TOTAL = $15.35 The coupon was so worth it - so I took advantage of the most expensive footlongs! I used to love coming to this location. The staff was always friendly, knew my order, it was always a great experience. Overtime of course the staff changed, it happens. I've worked in the customer service industry six years, 4 of those years were in the food industry to give background. I've never had a problem until a new woman was hired. I've seen her break multiple health code violations, have seen her handle cash with gloves then go back to the sandwiches. She was asked by the customer ahead of me to change gloves and seemed upset that she was even asked. Gross. I don't even know her name since she doesn't wear a name tag. I've had multiple issues with this specific employee. Overcharging me, orders made incorrectly, has flat out denied requests that are even on the menu, I had asked for the wrap and was told they didn't have it just the flatbread, even though I pointed to the menu and she said they don't do them there. Mind you I've ordered it a few times before at this location. Tried doing the store promotion they were running and was told eventually she couldn't do it. My final straw was genuinely the poor attitude and getting home to open my foot long sandwich to discover there was only 3 slices of ham. 3 slices on a footling sandwich. How was this woman even hired or still work there? She doesn't even seem to know basic food handling precautions. I will attach picture I took upon opening my sandwich. I called the next day, spoke to another woman who said the owner would call and ask me about it. Apparently they've been called about this woman multiple times and has had multiple complaints, according to the employee I spoke to. She even knew exactly what employee I was talking about, described her entirely. I never got a call back from the owner either. My suggestion? Skip the location entirely or pray that woman isn't working. She normally works evenings. read more

1 out of 5 stars A few weeks ago, my friend and I ordered two footlong sandwiches from this Subway, and what we received was honestly baffling -- the ingredients were shoved into the short end of flatbread and rolled up like a burrito. It wasn't even close to a proper sandwich. When I brought this up to the employee, I was told "too bad" and that I had to keep them. I followed up with the store multiple times due to how poorly the food was made. Eventually, someone called me back and offered me a free sandwich. Fast forward to today, I went in to redeem it and was told I could only have a six-inch, even though I had originally paid for two footlongs. I wasn't even asking for two replacements -- just one footlong -- and I was still given a hard time. Overall, the customer service was dismissive, inconsistent, and frustrating. I won't be returning to this location. Definitely zero stars if that were possible. read more

This place sucks, try to go to a different subway if you can. I come in with a positive attitude, and i am leaving with negativity for the 3 straight time. Asked to use d the restroom and the tell the patron to go find a bathroom somewhere else. This is a restaurant for heavens sake. I told the lady that the other woman let me use the restroom last time. She said that the woman should be reprimanded for letting me use the facilities. I've never had such a bad experience at a subway. I wanted just one foot long sandwich and I always ask for extra pickles and it's never an issue. 2/19 at 3 pm the lady was rude and tried arguing saying a sandwich only comes with 6 pickles so I state I'll pay for more which I've never EVER had to do and she only put 2 more. Absolutely ridiculous service. On top of that she wouldn't allow me to redeem my free cookie or $2 off coupon so after that I just left. I was unhappy with the sandwich anyways but how are you going to deny me to scan my app!! read more

It's probably my fault given that I decided to get a fast food cheesesteak, but I was genuinely surprised by how bad the quality of the meat was. The beef was dry, stringy, and tasted awful. I've had cheesesteaks in similar places like Jimmy John's and while they usually aren't great, they've never been this bad. The only redeeming thing about the meal was that the guy working the counter was nice, though the quality of the food makes me question if he was washing his hands. read more

Needs management. Walked in with wife and there was only one customer. The customer must order a few sandwiches and only one person was helping her. The next service person (I assume she was in charge) asked if she can help me. So I ordered a meatball footlong. They were out of meatballs needed to five minutes. I said cool. Then she went and helped the other customer. Didn't ask if I need anything else or anything. My wife said something to the third service lady and they acted like she was crazy. Anyway they then billed the other lady but still need to bag her stuff and then they billed me. Took my food home and I don't have a %%^*# meatball sandwich. They gave us the other customers food. DO NOT GO! I walked in yesterday and a girl NINA was sweeping and collecting the stuff she swept up with the dust pan. She greeted me and walked fast into the employee door, walked around the walk DIDN'T WASH HER HANDS. She walk around that wall in 3 seconds and immediately put on oven gloves to take the bread out of the oven and then washed her hands. I'm so glad she didn't make my sandwich. Food was fresh workers are amazing considering their working conditions. Management and corporate listen up workers deserve better pay otherwise you are going to continue to have employee turn over. Management do your job and listen to employees they are your front line and essential start acting like you know this improve working conditions that benefits employees not just corporate. If you are having a hard time or bond by policy maybe corporate needs to hire a woman ceo and pay her 110% of what you pay male counterparts. Otherwise your company will not survive and get beat by your competitors and Small business owners and customers will not choose to frequent your establishment. If I could give this place a zero I would. worst subway I've been to in a while. The subs I ordered were not made correctly. The BNT I ordered I wanted it toasted and it was not. It did not have any ham. The chicken teriyaki footling lacked any of the vegetables I asked for and had no chicken. For a second I thought I was eating a mayo sandwich. Next time I'll just go the extra mile and head over to the one on arrow and town. They have better customer service and make ACCURATE mobile orders. read more

I ordered online a wrap and made it a combo when i went to go pick it up the manager said they did not have my ordered and said i had the wrong store. Not only that the manager was extremely rude to her employees. She yelled at them which i think its unprofessional. I went to get my phone from my car and they locked the door. I was baffled. I went in after work 40 minutes before they closed , I was told that they cannot make my sandwich because they need the last 30 minutes of their time being open to close ; you should be cleaning the store after the closing time . We just ordered from here and we had coupons that just came in the mail. They didn't accept them and we came for a refund since the amount was more than 10 dollars of savings. Please if you are coming in with coupons they do not accept coupons. That is... unless you order online you can apply the coupon there. According to the worker which gave me attitude but I understand no one likes to deal with an issue in fast food, they do not accept coupons. I've worked at subway before and I wish that these workers were more polite, as I was. No need to cause an issue when the customer is simply explaining that if the coupon works online then we should be able to in store order and use the coupon. Anyways this was my fav subway but I won't be coming anymore. Not like it matters, but kind of miss polite workers because I know I'm not a rude customer.
