Although I usually love the pizza, the response and service was horrendous today. Called for delivery order at 5:40 pm. Got hung up the first time, called back (that was my first mistake) put on hold 3x - finally place order for delivery. I say delivery twice. Doesn't ask for my credit card so I wonder .. but wait. At 6:45 I call - speak to male - same guy who took my order - he says ... delivery Oooh okay well it's on the way. Really? Seems like maybe you saw it sitting at the pick up window ... I wait again. Call back at again 7:20 ... still no pizza - is the guy really driving it around for 40 minutes? Same guy answers - oh no it's on the way - calls driver and confirms he's on his way ( we live maybe 4 min from the restaurant - say 10 if you get every red light). I ask how cold is it going to be ?? Oh no it won't be cold. About 10 min later it arrives at House - driver forgot salad in car (which came w mushrooms even though ordered without ) -- pizza looks about .. you guessed it about an hour and a half old and pretty damn cold. Best lunch value in town. $7 gets you lunch buffet of salad, pizza, twists and a drink. Such great value. This place remodeled and expanded and has a ton of room. While Round Table may not be the best pizza in the world, it is probably the best of the big chains (Papa Johns, P.Hut, Dominos). Another nice feature, the pizzas they put out aren't just basic one topping duds. They bust out veggie ones, the smokehouse special, Hawaiian, all kinds of "gourmet" ones. read more

Placed an order at 6:47pm and finally got it at 8:39pm! We had to call restaurant twice and both times they claimed it was out for delivery! Horrible experience heightened by the fact that my family was super hungry! The pizza was good - that's never the issue! However, our experience was horrible and the restaurant was not very sympathetic - highly likely never to order from Round Table again....practically a two hour wait is not acceptable! read more

Wow, the lunch buffet is the best pizza buffet I'd ever been to. They have many selections of pizza, fresh garlic break sticks, a very fresh salad bar, and some yummy gooey cinnamon bread sticks for dessert. The price which is under $8 with tax includes a drink. I have wanted to try the lunch buffet for quite a while. It actually slightly exceeded my expectations. It is priced at $6.99 but there are usually coupons in the mail for $5.99. I think it is a very good value. The salad bar was actually very decent with lots of fresh veggies and a good selection of dressings. I also thought they did a good job of varying the pizza selection. It seemed like there were always 5 or 6 different kinds to pick from. The garlic knots and dessert knots were just ok. I think a true dessert pizza (cinnamon apple?) would make a great addition. I do not like Pepsi products except for Cherry. I was really excited to see that it was available. Unfortunately the syrup ran out while I was dining and they were unable to get it working properly. I was quite thirsty by the time I left. Previous posts about not clearing your plates is true. This is nice to know in advance so that you can make your own nice pile of dirty plates and napkins. The restaurant itself is very clean and does appear well maintained. Would like to return...just hope the cherry Pepsi works next time. read more

My buddy and I had a craving for pizza. So we decided to give Round Table a shot, and boy were we pleasantly surprised. We ordered a large pizza with half of it being Italian Garlic Supreme and the other half Wombo Combo. The latter was ok, but the former was good, i mean great. Wow! It was mouth watering delicious. I grew up on Round Table, and I miss dining in at pizza places so I really wanted to love this place but I felt like even though the decor was updated, it was not being kept up. A lot of burned out light bulbs, video games from 20 years ago. (That was a highlight when I was a kid, but you'd think it would be OK to buy a new machine). I love coming here for their lunch buffet. $6.99 for unlimited pizza and salad. They have a couple different kinds of salads, a few different dressings, and bacon bits! The garlic breadsticks are the best, I probably grab as many of these as I do slices of pizza. They normally have about 5 different kinds of pizza available, but sometimes the pizza gets taken quicker than they can get made. So definitely grab a good portion of food before taking your seat. read more

Ok visited recently after 1:00 pm. It looks like the owner is trying hard to keep up with lunch buffet demands and is moderately succeeding. He gets kudos for trying hard. Been to many RT pizza buffet lunches in OC, but this one has the widest variety of pizza, including garlic chicken pizza that I have never seen anywhere else. For $9 AYCE pizza plus salad plus soda, great value, decent food. Took off one star because many tables not bussed so I had to clean my own table of leftover food, plates, and scraps, yuck. read more

Been here twice now in the past few weeks. Best pizza place I know of in the area. Both times we went in to watch football and were able to use the room with two HD TVs. They turn off the music if you ask and the air conditioning controls on the wall turn up and down if you need (my wife is always cold). The whole place is super clean including the floors, restrooms, etc. Will be back often, see you there! read more

Lunch = best deal around. For $8 you get an amazing deal. All you can eat salad bar, all you can eat pizza and a drink. If you're like me you think Round Table pizza is very good but just to pricey to buy on a regular basis. Here's the solution to that problem...lunch M-F 11am - 2pm. The salad is fresh with plenty of great condiments such as broccoli, spinach, onion, mushrooms, cheese, bell peppers and the list goes on. The dressings are good and include the basics like blue cheese, italian, ranch and honey mustard. The pizza is free flowing and incredibly yummy. I've always liked Round Table crust, a happy medium between thin and hand tossed. That's it but what more could you ask for but salad and pizza. read more

Love the lunch pizza buffet. You get a quality salad, drink and as much tasty pizza as you can eat. They continue to bring out hot pizza as the lunch goes on. For only $7.50 you get what you want and can over eat if that suits your mood and stomach. I think we are going there again today since my wife has requested the tasty munch a bunch of pizza again. She eats a ton and doesn't gain an ounce! My 8 yr old loves running back to the pizza bar for one slice at a time. read more

Let me start with their salad bar, it's the best salad bar. I love it! I came for the all you can eat buffet and I honestly just had salad. Yea, it's that good! Why the two stars? Customer service, first of all we didn't even get greeted when we waked in. The cashier that helped us was Carlos, he was good had pretty good customer service the only thing I didn't like was his hat, it was on backwards it just looked really unprofessional to me. We also decided to have beer with our pizza and salad when we got our mugs, oh wait we didn't get mugs we got plastic cups! Who drinks beer in plastic cups?? Anyway if that wasn't enough the other cashier Mia was just standing around talking, on her phone. When there was no pizzas on buffet (FYI there were pizzas up on the counter waiting to go for buffet) she was too busy making out with her boyfriend who apparently came to visit. It was really disturbing watching her and her boyfriend make out while there were no pizzas out on the actual buffet table. This place obviously needs a manager, I don't understand how it's still running like this. So unprofessional! The one person that's actually working was Mariolo he was running around cleaning tables, refilling the salad bar, putting pizzas in the buffet, cleaning. What would this place be without him? He should be a manager he'd probably do a better job than the one (if there's one) they have right now. read more

DON'T GO! Not only did they mess up the order 5 out of 4 times but they also hung-up on me when I tried to explain that this is not correct. The people who work there stated they were managers and wouldn't give me their name but said they couldn't help unless they knew who i\I talked to. If no one gives you their name then how am I suppose to give it to you. Customer service is horrible and I do advise everyone I know not to go here. Normally the pizza is great compared to the other delivery service. But when I got home my daughter pepperoni pizza was burnt & the other pizza had the smell of it. Will not buy from there again & employee demanded for me to go back. I can send a pic instead. I would have posted it if this allowed me. I guess its going to be Peppino's. read more

I thought the Tuesday night buffet was a great deal for a buffet and drink, but the pizza tasted blan (really plan and basic, not even really pizza-ie tasting). What really irritated me was that the female cashiers were on their phones the show time gossiping and didn't pay any attention to us when we tried to order the buffet price. I've visited this place many times since they opened as a full sit down restaurant. Their Tuesday night buffet it awesome, but get there early because the place does fill up pretty quickly. It's great for the kids, they have games the children can play with while eating. They also have the lunch buffet for $6.99 (if you get the coupon from the mail you can save a dollar. I recently went to this Round Table to eat. I was second in line, behind a woman who was ordering something. There was only one girl behind the counter, by the name of Mia. This costumer bombarded Mia with every pizza question in the book. She repeated and repeated questions. Mia patiently answered all the questions. Mia told her how much it was, and this customer asked over and over again about the price. Then when the time came to pay, took out numerous bills, and was slow to figure out how much she owed. During this entire episode, Mia remained calm. She was a true professional, and never lost her cool. She is an asset to the business, and represented it well. She apologized to me, but it was no problem. She was a delight to talk to. After my questioning, she told me that lady was just ordering a large pizza with one topping, for home delivery. really!
