This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I gave it another shot tonight after my last fiasco. Last time they charged me for a delivery that never made it. This was because after 2 hrs of waiting when I called they told me that they lost my order...not only that but the manager made me come in and show him my bank records to prove the charge and then proceeded to have me call my credit card before giving me the $30 refund! Tonight I ordered online, it gave me a pickup time and it still took the staff more than 40 minutes AFTER my pick up time to get my pizza. Oh, and they forgot the salad that went with the order...but they were nice enough to give me a side of ranch for free (Whoopty-Frickin-Doo). read more

Save yourself some frustration and go somewhere else. I ordered from there last night. When I arrived to pickup I was told my order was $3 more than what my online receipt said, they corrected it. When I got home I realized they gave me a medium instead of a large. Called them and was told that I had a to bring back the pizza and they would make me a new one, told them I live too far to do that. She said delivery would take 45 minutes, since it was 9 already and I had a hungry child I said that wouldn't work. She offered me 20% off my next order, I declined (at this point I knew they lost me as a customer) I asked for the to just refund the difference on my card. I ordered a Pizza at 5:09, the receipt said the order was complete at 6:03 but it didn't arrived at 6:41. The pizza was cold, of course, but what's worse is the large pepperoni and cheese was smashed. Great! The driver was apologetic. The manager, Amanda, refunded my money for that pizza, remade the pizza and had it re-delivered by 7:05. The driver and the manager explained to me that they were really busy. Since when is it appropriate for the customer to suffer for a business being busy? Two hours delivery time, be warned. read more

Well apparently I'm not the only one who has had negative experiences from this Round Table. My first time ordering delivery, it took 2 hours to deliver. I live 0.2 miles away! I ordered tonight at 6:47 pm... it is 8:30pm, and I am STILL waiting for my pizza. I called and they said, "the drivers are backed up." You said it would be delivered an hour ago! It was a busy Friday night around 9:30pm. I usually order from Seaside Round Table but I was coming from Salinas and this was on the way home. I ordered a personal pepperoni and 3 parmesan bread sticks with no trouble. Having never eaten at this location before, I stood at what I thought was the pick up window. Unfortunately, it was not. Five minutes later I found out from a customer and, not one of the 5 employee's working, tell me I was at the wrong window. I go to the correct window and was greeted by a "supervisor". I like to have ranch dressing with my bread sticks, and when I wanted an extra they charged a dollar for a 2 oz. container...which is obviously not worth a dollar. As I was waiting for my order, a customer came and asked an employee to change the channel to the A's game and they were told via the "supervisor": "No, there are kids here. The television has to be on a children-friendly channel." Did baseball become the UFC? Not that I know of. I looked around and none of the kids, or mothers, were paying any attention to the television. The customers were annoyed. At the restaurant I work for, which isn't a pizza parlor, if a customer asks to change the channel we do it. No one wants to watch Spongebob while drinking beer and eating pizza, in my opinion. Back to the point, I open the bread sticks and instead of 3, there is 2.5..., not to mention they were burnt to a crisp and had no garlic or parmesan whatsoever. They came with 2 ranches but I was not informed by an employee that there was 2. On the pizza the sauce was unevenly placed with none in some spots and way too much in others. The pepperoni was sparingly placed with the crust burned. I wouldn't recommend going unless you want pizza, beer, and Spongebob. Overall, I will go to the Seaside location where they actually have good service. read more

I have lived near the Marina Round Table PIzza store for 17 + years, and I have usually ordered pizzas from them. Even though I live on Mortimer Lane (which is the cross-street on Del Monte Blvd where Round Table is located, still they have to charge me $2 to bring me a pizza. Recently, I called in an order for a Chicken Garlic pizza that I wanted delivered to me 3 minutes up the street. The employee on the phone said there would be the delivery charge. I didn't say anything about it. Then I asked if they gave senior discounts (my husband and I are 75 & 69 years old). The girl on the line said they have a senior discount for orders over $18.00. My pizza was $18.99, so I asked what my final bill totaled. She said $22.56. When I inquired about the discount, she said my bill did not qualify because when they took the discount off the $18.99, the cost of the pizza was $17.09 (below the minimum) So she said I should buy something else to go with the pizza, so I chose the bread sticks. Of course I still had to pay to have the pizza delivered up the street to my house. I am never going back to this Round Table restaurant again, because the owner is a cheapskate who has to grab for every penny, even to the point of misleading people into thinking the minimum purchase is $18.00 to qualify for a 10% senior discount. read more

33 years ago, this business was my first employer. I remember all the locals coming here to hang out, drink beer and play video games. Just recently, I met the new manager, you see I went there to use their free Internet. Now one would think I would have to purchase something to sit for an unlimited time on their Wi FI, but NO. The manager gave me the code I needed and never once pressured me to purchase anything. I was treated with respect and was told to come in any time to use the Wi Fi. This was just the beginning, while sitting there the manager came over and sat with me for awhile, so I took the him down memory lane, the time when this place was our local hang out. How we used to sit around that great fire place in the winter, and how we all felt like we were at our home away from home. Well I'm here to tell you when my husband and I go there now, we get that same feeling we used to get 33 years ago. Thanks to our new manager and the team he has established, we absolutely love coming here to eat. Yeah, sometimes the noise level can get up there, but that's to be expected when one of our local sport teams has a night out. Now lets talk about the quality of the pizza, WOW!! Not once have I been disappointed or had something other than what I ordered delivered to our table. The salad bar may be small, but its got a nice variety. I know one thing, if I'm going to pay $23 for a pizza, then I better love it and we DO!! They offer numerous ways to get a discounted price for your meal, so there is no reason for anyone to pay FULL price for their pizza. If you are one to complain about the cost, then grab one of the many coupons sent out with the weekly ads. I'm pretty sure you can find one that will suit your fancy. Now I want to address the appearance of this establishment. First, that picture someone posted with the broccoli on the floor, You mean to tell me you would rather take a picture of how PEOPLE can be such slobs and leave food that THEY dropped on the floor? And you're no better you took a picture of it but did you pick it up? Or is that too much to ask? This place is well maintained and the rest rooms are always clean. Never once has anyone refused to change the channel on the TV no matter who is in the establishment. I love the customer service we get every time we go. The manager, sorry I know his name but not quite sure how to spell it, takes pride in this business. He has really made a terrific change in this place and we want to welcome him to our little town/city. They even allowed us to plan a last minute birthday celebration, and I mean last minute, the birthday celebrated was that day.....Thank you !!! What more can I say other than ENJOY. My family and I ate at the Marina Round Table last night June 6, 2012,after my son and daughters high school graduation, The staff was awesome, professional and very friendly. The place was very clean and people friendly. I also had the opportunity to meet the manager Noe. He was very polite and you could tell he enjoyed his job. He spoke to all the customers and even congratulated my son and daughter. That doesn't happen much nowadays. I would highly recommend this establishment and it was very kid friendly. read more

Horrible service, waited 30 minutes to find out they hadn't made the pizza waited 10 more min and as I was going to ask for my money back they come out with a pizza that wasn't what I ordered, was asked if I wanted them to find it and get it for free, I said no got my money back and left. I wOuld not come here again. The customer service is horrible, even the manager is rude. The establishment looks like it's never cleaned. I tried their buffet and it looks like they pre-make the pizza and sits for hours before they bake them. The salad bar was dirty. The booths were dirty. And when I called for pick up they told me 20 minutes. I got there 10minutes after and they told me it would be 10 more minutes. I waited a 30 minutes. When I received my pizza it was burnt. I asked for extra cheese and it looked like it didn't even have cheese on it at all. Very disappointed. read more

Pizza here is just ok. It's like all other Round Tables. But my experience with their service was horrible. Went there with my wife after work. Some idiot painted the ladies room and put up no "Wet Paint" signs. Needless to say my wife had paint all over her business suit from brushing up against the door frame. You'd think they would have comped the food but they didn't. The girl behind the counter turned to one of the workers and said "You only painted the men's room, right? Oh, you painted only the ladies room? OK." My wife had to run around to find a cleaners that thought they could remove the paint, then call this Round Table and wait for the manager to call back, which sometimes took days. Then she had to bring in the cleaner's bill to get reimbursed. I don't think anyone ever apologized to her once for the trouble. We'll never go there again. People that work there act like they're doing you a favor by selling you pizza. read more

We called in our order for pick up and was told 20 mins. We arrived in 20 mins and the cashier, who was very friendly, mentioned that it was just coming out of the oven and by picking it up, our pizza would be very fresh. I paid for our pizza, chicken wings and bread sticks and figured it would be a couple of minutes at most. After 5 mins the cashier asked if we had ordered chicken wings (which I already paid for) and was informed they somehow missed that so they had to make them. After waiting 20 mins I asked what was going on and was told it was now my breadsticks that were the hold up because they had been burnt. Now I'm waiting for a new batch while our pizza was still sitting there. So much for "fresh". 35 mins after my pizza was taken out of the oven I again inquired as to the status of my order only to find out that the entire order had been sitting on top of the oven in boxes. I mentioned the unacceptable length of time that my pizza had been sitting and was told it was still "very hot". I admit that yes, the cardboard bottom was warm but we didn't plan to eat that. I talked to the manager and all I got was an apology and a lukewarm (at best) pizza. When we got in our vehicle, we looked at the breadsticks and discovered it was only half of what we ordered and paid for. I went back inside for a refund for the breadfsticks because I didnt want to wait yet another 20 mins but all I got was a quick apology and the rest of my breadsticks. I asked for bleu cheese dressing and was told it would cost extra. Seriously?! After all that horrible service and they still wanted to charge me for the dressing? As if that wasn't enough, the chicken wing order was also wrong. Thank goodness there's Pizza Hut and Domino's nearby where I can actually get what I order in a timely fashion. read more
