Pizza is made to order with your topping choices and topped with a sauce at the end of the firing. The pizza was cooked well and was adequately topped with your choice Had way too much garlic and the jalapeño were too spicy for me. The service is line service and self serve beverages. Blaze Pizza is typically a positive decision for me because it just feels like every pizza is more bespoke. I made the mistake of ordering a head at this particular shop and the pizzas we got were just not made with care. The bottoms were somewhat burnt and the ingredients were just thrown on with very little in some spots and too much in others. We still ate the pizza so I guess it was fine, but I'm just used to a little bit more thoughtfulness and mindfulness. I'm probably partially to bland because I could have chosen better or less ingredients, but I was in a bit of a rush. I ordered 5 pizza's for delivery & only rec'd 4. The manager looked at the tape to see if the delivery guy picked up all 4, but there were too many people that he could not see. He said he would refund within 5 days and it's been over 7 days now. The pizza's were cold, soggy & did not taste good. I threw mine away after the 1st slice. I love Blaze locations in other states. I think the food is good and for a great price. However, the employees at this location have an attitude problem. The first time I went every employee acted as if I was bothering them for ordering food. The second time I ordered ahead of time and when I picked up they forgot to include ranch (Which they charge for, every other blaze I've been too doesn't actually charge for them) When I mentioned to the girl at the checkout that I was missing ranch she acted as if I was lying and didn't pay for it ahead of time. Twice being treated poorly is enough for me to not go back. I don't expect retail/ food service employees to be super cheery and above and beyond but I expect to not be treated rudely. read more

While we generally appreciate the quality of customer service, specific interactions during this visit were pretty disappointing. My family member encountered significant difficulty while attempting to place their order. They were unfortunately interrupted by a staff member, Angel, before they could fully complete their order. This premature interruption leading to a clear sense of being unheard and directly contributed to misunderstandings regarding their specific preferences. Furthermore, an error with my own order due to internal miscommunication between Angel and another team member, Rhea (my apologies if the name is incorrect). Beyond these specific communication issues, we observed instances where staff members, particularly Angel (again) , exhibited an unprofessional demeanor. This included appearing visibly overwhelmed and demonstrating an unhelpful attitude. Such conduct significantly detracts from the desired customer experience and can negatively impact a customer's perception of your service quality here at Blaze Pizza, especially when they are seeking assistance or clarification. Additionally, a small but notable detail, the usual courtesy of offering sauces or other accompaniments, after the main item was prepared and cooked, was overlooked - a deviation from the attentive service we typically associate with your establishment. Delicious - sooooo many toppings & flavors that I chose most! Everything is fresh. Creative & friendly staff who don't mind answering questions, even dumb ones. Restaurant is has an industrial vibe that is cold.. literally, so take a jacket. Pizzas are good sized for one person & there's an offer for a 3-pizza + beverages deal for families. Busy place & seems understaffed during peak times, so it can be a bit dirty. Bathrooms were very clean & well-stocked, though. Buyer beware if ordering from UberEats as the pizza is only half sized. Used the app to order ahead of time, but they massively screwed up both pizzas, despite the paper printouts on each being accurate. Screwed up in moving about half the ingredients of one pizza incorrectly to the other one, and also barely added any meats to both, meaning both of our pizzas were extremely unsatisfactory. So not only did we both not get what we wanted in basic ingredients, but over half pizzas slices were missing basics (chicken, bacon, ham etc.) Pretty pathetic and one of the worst meal experiences in 10+ years. read more

The lady working behind the counter tried to tell us our service dog was not allowed. I understand at first she didn't realize it was a service dog, but she still insisted even when I informed her it was a service dog. Fortunately the gentleman working with her corrected her, so we sat and ate their without further incident. While I appreciate the gentleman stepping in and correcting her, it does make me feel that additional training is needed for your staff on ADA guidelines for service animals. I found this so off-putting that this lady was trying to take my medical equipment away. It's like saying you don't allow bikes when someone comes in with a wheel chair. Restaurant was clean and spacious and not very crowded at all considering it was close the Cal State Monterey Bay university and around dinner time. Definitely recommend this location. I hope the staff is getting paid well enough to live in this beautiful beach community. Very clean and modern interior with huge windows provides for an enjoyable dining experience. The staff kept the place clean (even though they were slammed) so I was rather impressed. 2. The line was out the door at one point while we were here. The staff remained professional and highly on top of things. One gentleman behind the counter tossed my pizza in the oven and continued to multi task. I was worried he was going to burn my crust, yet it came out perfect. It's actually easy to overload them, unless you're a veggie lover pizza fan, so keep that in mind. Standard Chipotle style industrial ambiance, clean and efficient. We are addicted to Blaze Pizza in Marina, CA! I can't believe I haven't gotten a review for it up yet... bad me. We stop by Blaze... kinda a lot during some seasons. I feel like there have been weeks we've been more than twice. Nom nom. It's amazing because you can choose any style you're in the mood for. It's also great for picky eaters, as they can add or skip whatever toppings they prefer. Just typing about it now makes me wanna order a pizza... In the last years, Blaze Pizza developed an app that offers pickup or delivery. We like to use their app to order delivery to the school my son goes to sometimes. Though their online ordering isn't always available (so he knows to get school lunch if he's not called to the office to pick up his lunch) when they do have the extra staff to take online orders and service for delivery, we've never had a problem with timing or quality. I appreciate Blaze and their continuing to try and meet community needs despite the pandemic and labor shortage. Keep up the great work! Definitely see ya there! read more

Walked out again today. Went in @12:15 to order. No one else in line. Staff completely ignored us. They were cleaning things which is great but they looked up and say nothing and go back to cleaning and prepping dough. More people walk in and same. Walked out after 5 minutes. WTH. Will not be back. We used to go once to twice a month, but it is not worth my hard earned money anymore. Ordered 3 pizzas, one was a 2 topping pizza. Each slice barely had any cheese or mushrooms on it. When I sent in a complaint via email they did not try and fix it. They basically said- too bad and end of story. I would have put in a complaint at the restaurant but we ordered pick up and only realized when we already got home 10miles away that the pizza was basically just dough and sauce. I didn't want to drive 15 minutes back and forth for a new pizza so we had to put our own toppings on the pizza to make it edible. Not worth the $15, plus $2 tax and $2 tip I paid for it. Save your money and get oven Pizza from Target, because they atleast have toppings on them and it's about the same quality. read more
