The pizza here is obviously always good. They haven't had an off day which means the pizzas always delicious. My favorite are the cinnamon twists. I definitely would come here for the pizza if you want it tasting delicious. read more

I love Round Table. It has always been my favorite place since I was a kid. The quality is always consistent and it's literally so good all the time. I would literally pay hundreds of dollars for this pizza, and I'm simple just cheese and pepperoni. Call me crazy but I'm just being honest. And not only was the food amazing and perfect to all requests made but the delivery man on the receipt it says order taker is Natalicio D. (Don't know if that was the delivery guy or not but whoever he is is amazing) I normally don't order round table from Newport because I just moved here, but the delivery driver made my night. He was so nice and had the best smile in his face and also he was 30 mins early! Amazing! Hands down the Best Pepperoni pizza in Newport Beach. Try the triple Pepperoni - Classic, Mini, and Primo combo for $17.99 We tried Skinny Crust and Light sauce. There were 8 of us. I ordered two pizzas for pickup instead of delivery. I drove in to pick it up and Eddie and Leo helped me out. They were really gracious and offered to refire the pizzas. When it turned out to be a bit burnt, they offered to remake one of my two pizzas, and it was amazing! The pizzas were a bit expensive, but they were delicious. I really appreciated the hospitality. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. So this has been a 6 month escalation. I'm a licensed banker and live right down the street. Order on NFL sundays after a long week. My first job was at flippen pizza. This stuff isn't rocket science. They over charge me. They don't bring stuff I paid for. These are several different occurrences. From 3 peopl saying, I'm manager to speaking with the owner "Kyle" and manager "Brian" these people don't know how to communicate or listen and after spending money here this place got progressively worst. Aside from over charging, the pizza I just found a hair from it. It's cold and hard. Makes me feel like when they know they are delivering to me they mess with me. It's why I never tipped. How hard is this job? It's not. You make pizza. Attend to the people keeping your job. Ridiculous this place. Never been so pissed to pay $50 for a pizza I'm throwing out. Never going back now. Pizza was great. We love a good maui zaui. Unfortunately, they didn't do the sauce selection right. We asked for spicy red (which seriously...that should be the automatic, not the nasty poly sauce) and the cook made it wrong. Poor delivery guy had to trek all the way back. We then had to tip reallllly well, because the poor guy fought a lot of traffic twice just to delivery $50 worth of pizza. And yet, he was still nice about it. read more

I frequent this place at least once a week, so I thought its time to post an update about my recent experiences. IMHO, this place is in desperate need of new/rectify management. Customer service has become terrible here lately, very RUDE staff, unprofessional service, and stingy. yeah, isn't that ridiculous that you pay over $20 bucks for a mediocre pizza plus tips and they ask you to pay for a tiny ranch sauce? Once, I ordered by phone and picked up my pizza, when I opened the box, I noticed they messed up my order. I didn't have time to go there and get another one and, well, i don't eat pepperoni. Round Table is pricey but worth it...usually. That's why I always go for pizza buffet! But guess what, THIS ONE DOESNT HAVE ONE! C'mon man! Pizza was very tasty. What ruined it for me was the service. When I walked in there were 4 employees standing at the counter. I greeted them with a hi when I entered because well that's the kind of girl I am and after an awkward 3 second silence, one of them replied back with a hey. Okay. I stood back a bit to study the menu and when I was ready I approached the counter only to be ignored by the guy working the register (the others went back to the kitchen) as he chit chats and laughs with his buddies in the kitchen...asking them if they want some M&Ms from this bag he was waving around. Round table pizza serves great tasting pizza but in my opinion, their pizzas overall are just way too overpriced. In this day and age when the economy is still struggling and domino's, pizza hut, etc are lowering prices, round table has not stepped up to the plate. At this location, the service is pretty slow, but maybe that was because it was during the lunch hour??? Either way, i'm not knocking the quality and taste of the pizza because I think it's great. Every time I've ordered (walk-in or internet) from this place I've had nothing but incredible service and food. Let's get food out of the way. I don't think I've ever had bad Round Table Pizza and this place is no exception. Delicious! Service. I'm one of those people that hates interacting with others and always gets anxious about ordering from a menu, making small talk and dealing with money. Every time I enter this place I'm immediately caught off guard about how polite the cashier is, and even enjoy the small talk. And every delivery person is just as polite and friendly. Not sure if they were having a bad night but I will not order again any time soon! Called at 6:40 pm for delivery was quoted 45 min. delivery time. An hour later still no pizza so I called and the girl said the driver had left at 7:20. No apology, just simply said they were "backed up". I was about to call back and cancel when at 8:03 the delivery person drops off our COLD pizzas and one of them was made wrong. Asked for extra sauce and got NO sauce. This experience was POOR all around. They need an infusion of customer service. They should have called me to give me a heads up they were running late or offered me $ off the order. Have ordered from this location about 3 times now for delivery only because I'm unable to switch the delivery location since this is the closest one to us...every time they have been 15-40 minutes past their quoted 45 minute delivery time, and the pizzas are cold and overall disappointing. After paying $43 for one pizza, 6 twists and delivery fees, it's really disappointing not to get a decent meal. Having given this location 3 tries over the last year, I'm definitely not ordering from them again. read more

I ordered a vegetarian large pizza last night from this location. The pizza came early, cold and the had no cheese. It was like someone placed bunch of raw vegetables on top of pizza dough. Taste was so bad I had to throw the entire pizza on the garbage. Please don't order from this place, staff very unprofessional. Been coming to this Newport Beach Round Table for years. Recently taken over by new owner. Prices have jumped maybe 40%. Ordered a small King Arthur. Paid over $18 for a tiny 10-inch diameter pizza. For that kind of price, Papa John's, BJs, local pizza joints are much better value. Two stars for good taste and ingredients quality. But totally not worth the money. At these prices, and seeing how competitive the pizza business is, I do not think they will survive. Never coming back. read more

if you're ballin; and price is of no concern... get the large bbq chicken and the smokehouse combo. the bbq chicken is so effing good. with the first bite, it made me believe in unicorns. i also heard this pizza has the ability to cure cancer. its full of flavor, and the sweet bbq sauce was used instead of the tomato sauce. good choice round table! the smokehouse combo was salty, but it was still pretty tasty. we got 2 pizzas, and a medium salad. the total came out to about 53 with delivery charge. fuck man, 53 bucks for all that?!? for 53 bucks, i expect to be fanned by those huge leaves and fed grapes from the vine. seriously not worth it. read more

Best Pizza Ever. I almost always order delivery and split the pizza between two of their "specialties" (I always want to try *everything*!). I see that some reviewers note that it's a bit expensive, which can be true, but honestly if you're alone and want to spend the evening eating pizza and watching Lord of the Rings (you're having one of those days), it's not going to cost that much more than, say, Dominos, for a small pizza. There WILL be a lot more toppings, and you will be able to eat the rest of the pizza the next day for lunch. At least, if you are a girl :-). Anyway, the pizza is just really, really good. I don't know what I would do without the existence of Round Table (and I have always had good experiences with the Newport Beach one in particular). read more

We ordered our pizza 45 minutes before they closed. They're a 6 minute drive from the delivery location. I called 10 min before closing and they said the pizza was coming out of the oven and would be here soon. It never came. I never got a phone call. My credit card got charged. And now they're closed and an hour after closing (naively hoping they were still delivering our order as their last task of the night...). Furious. And still hungry. At least call and say you can't deliver my order. And refund me my money. read more
