    Salad bar

Do you ever just cringe at the thought that you are somewhere that you don't know where to get good pizza so you just go to a place in hopes that it will somewhat satisfy your craving for pizza because you are in a strange town? Well we were in this situation as we were at an RV resort just up the hill from here and didn't want to cook so we decided to go to town for pizza and chose to try this place. I ordered a large half wombo combo half Hawaiian on original crust. To go. Used the 15% off Yelp offer and the gal was almost excited to see I was using it. So I had to wait for it since we had no cell service to call ahead. My friend ordered a pizza and got a family salad out of their salad bar, she used the coupon offer too. Their salad bar was amazing and I almost changed my mind and bought one too. It was so fresh and full of lots of goodies. And the pizza only took 15 minutes. But we were there at 4pm so it wasn't too busy yet. The pizza was fantastic. Toppings were just right. The wombo combo consisted of Canadian bacon, pepperoni, sausage, ham, green onions, peppers, mushrooms and olives and my half the Hawaiian was Canadian bacon, onion and pineapple. The crust was perfectly medium thickness and done perfect. Completely satisfied my pizza craving. Yay!!!

From my childhood in San Diego to adulthood in Long Beach and now living in Winters, Round Table has always been a go to for me for pizza, I'm not much of a crust eater, so their style of dough is perfect for my preference. The Winters location always has the friendliest staff. We are Pepperoni and Pineapple people in this household and their pizza never disappoints. Very consistent from So Cal to Nor Cal, and definitely happy the Winters location is right in my neighborhood,

Gourmet Veggie plus pepperoni. Absolutely delicious!!

Every time we eat here we get upset stomachs. Been to other round tables and they are great but not this location.

I had the lunch buffet and it was terrible plus when I complained about the lack of choices they would not bring out any fresh pizza.

We had about a 10-15 minute wait, which honestly wasn't bad considering how busy they were. The menu had a lot of great-looking options. Two friends ordered the chicken fried steak, another ordered a veggie/Mediterranean-style omelet, and I had the carnitas huevos rancheros since I'm gluten-free. Portions were generous and the food was good, though not necessarily something I'd rave about. The biggest issue during our visit was the service. Drinks and ordering started off fine, but when the food came out only two of the four meals arrived. My friend and I ended up waiting quite a while longer and had to flag someone down to check on our meals. We were told the ticket must have gotten mixed up and our food would be out shortly. By the time our dishes arrived, our other friends were basically done eating. One side order was also forgotten. To their credit, they did remove that item and gave us 50% off the delayed dishes, which we appreciated. I completely understand that busy restaurants can get hectic, but better communication and table follow-up would have made a huge difference. Overall, cute spot with decent food and good portions -- just hoping the service experience improves.

It was early, around 4:00 p.m., and there were only two people dining inside. They agreed and eventually placed two tables together indoors. My thought was, why was this not offered from the beginning, especially given the heat and how empty the restaurant was? The ambiance was great, but unfortunately, the food was not. I ordered a salad with chicken. The salad was very skimpy, with only two thin slices of apple, two small orange slices, very little feta, and mostly lettuce. The chicken portion was extremely small and was served separately on a plate rather than sliced and placed on the salad as ordered. The other dishes were also small and underwhelming. The burger and fries were nothing special, and the spaghetti was plain and lacked flavor. If you are looking for great ambiance, this may be a nice place to visit. But if you are looking for great food, you may want to consider other options. For a great burger, I would recommend Buckhorn instead. It costs less and is much better.

It was not surprisingly packed for a Saturday night and I think one or two other families were celebrating birthdays. We started off with Tri Tip Tot-chos and they were deliciously addicting. So much we ended up eating half our dinner and taking the rest home. The tri tip had great flavor to go along with the crispy tots. The boneless ribeyes were so great! Nicely seared on both sides amd seasoned perfect. Tender to the cut and bite. Buckhorn is a restaurant I know I can come to and get great quality steak in a consistent basis. Hope to be back there sooner than later... and I'll definitely order those Tot-chos again.

The wagyu had a richness that's hard to find, and the ribeye held its own right alongside it. The sourdough bread as a side was simple but really good -- don't skip it. We also had a chance to try a couple different wines before committing, which our server made easy and relaxed. The staff was friendly and patient the whole night. We took our time figuring out what to order and nobody made us feel rushed -- they came back to the table multiple times without any pressure. We were there to celebrate an accomplishment and the atmosphere fit the occasion well. On a previous visit the German potato soup was one of the best I've had, and it's still something I think about. Already planning to come back.
