This is the kind of company you could easily give minus stars. At first, Juan came and his service was excellent. He was later replaced by another person and he could not do the job correctly. It appeared he was not informed about where the traps were, or, for that matter, how to arrange for an inspection. He came at arbitrary times and did not schedule visits ahead of time. When he came, he did not check all the traps. When we asked to discuss this with a manager, we were told Tim would call us. Later, we got a call, but from Robert. When he asked what the problems were, we told him. In response he sniped that he already knew those complaints and pushed those aside and wanted to know what else we had. Assuming he was covering for the new person, I asked to speak to the manager, Tim. He then cried out that there was no reason to talk with Tim because he, Robert, was the President of the company! It took a second to understand that. How could someone with such poor customer skills be in charge? Instead of solving our original problem, his abusive conduct just created another. We will never use this company again (sorry, Juan!), and suggest you do likewise. Very disappointed with this company. I hired them to get rid of rats. I paid for exclusion work to my roof and my crawl space. The problem continued month after month. They blamed my roof stated I needed it replaced. I hired a different company which stated there was no exclusion worked done in crawl space. There was an open sewer line which was the point of entry. The new company got rid of rodents in one week. They set up cameras to confirm they was no activity. I would not use this company if the issue is rats in walls or attics. read more

It's been a week since my inspection, and still no call back with an estimate or service. I scheduled an inspection for some bugs that were biting me at night. Operator was courteous, and the technician, Juan, was also very courteous when he showed up. He told me we did not have bedbugs but had dust mites. He was wrong. I did some more research and found dust mites don't bite people, and we were probably getting bitten by rat mites or bird mites. Took a few samples to the San Mateo County Vector Control Department and they identified the bugs as tropical rat mites. I'm ready to do some kind of service and they won't call me back with an estimate so I can get it approved by landlord & scheduled. SLOW (or bait-and-switch?) company. After weeks of dealing with mysterious bites and unsuccessful DIY pest deterrents, we knew it was time to call a professional. Through our own research, we had narrowed it down to either fleas or (oh-the-horror!) bedbugs... That's when Jonathan and Hunter came to our rescue! With no physical evidence upon visual inspection by us or Jonathan, we needed Hunter's nose to give us some definitives. My husband had traveled a lot over the past 6 months, so it was REALLY important to us that we rule out any possibility of bedbugs. It was easily worth the fee just for that peace of mind. We've been incredibly pleased with Round the Clock. We had been finding some bites on our family and weren't positive what they were from. We'd never had bedbugs before and were not seeing any live or dead bugs themselves. We had another pest control company come to our apartment with a bedbug-sniffing dog. They were friendly but found nothing. The bites continued. Then Jonathan from Round the Clock brought Hunter in to sniff around. The inspection was incredibly thorough. Even though Jonathan himself didn't see any bugs, either, Hunter detected bedbugs in two hard-to-reach, specific locations. After Round the Clock heat-treated our place, Hunter came back and found no bugs. We haven't seen any bites since, either. Even more important that the peace of mind they gave us was Jonathan's patience and communication. He answered all of our (many) questions throughout the process, whether in person or by text, with patience and professionalism, and put our minds at ease by explaining everything to our satisfaction. Stay away from this company. They schedule their treatments without performing initial inspection to find out where and what to treat. It means they are ready to do it , but they are not aware of what and where will they treat. Called over 7 companies yesterday and not even one company agreed to perform treatment without initial inspection. The Pest Control Act requires that all Pest control companies in California use standardized inspection report form. The inspection report must detail every part of the house checked for signs of infestation. The report must also state which areas have been inspected and which areas have not been inspected because of inaccessibility. Do not trust this company. read more

After one other service came out and did an evaluation that "didn't feel right" to us, we called several others--many never returned our calls. Round the Clock impressed us from the beginning. Sam quickly identified it was a mama raccoon and her pups. How many, we couldn't be sure. But Sam made his recommendations and we set the trap Monday afternoon. He checked in with us daily, picked up the mama on Tuesday, then today (Thursday) returned to retrieve -- by hand! -- four small pups. He then repaired and secured wire over the two entry points, and we're done. Throughout, we have felt we were in the care of an experienced professional. I was confident that everything he told me was on point and he knew very much about his profession, someone had came the day before from a diff company and did the worst inspection said there were no obvious signs and left!
