However, since it does come free with the room, I gave it an extra star. First of all the coffee is terrible. Also, the regular eggs are terrible as well. They have a vegetarian egg option, which is surprisingly a lot better. I also get vegetarian sausage since I don't eat pork. This time instead of pancakes or French toast sticks they had munchkins. I didn't try one, but my husband said it tasted like Krispy Kreme so that's a high compliment. The biscuits are quite good, very buttery. I also appreciate if you order oatmeal it comes with little side of raisins, cinnamon, brown sugar, and granola. My younger son always likes to start with Froot Loops and milk. And then we ask for double biscuits in our normal platter and no eggs, so essentially the biscuits take the place of the eggs. Service can be slow so that's why once you know what you like I highly recommend saying it all at the beginning. I love how this is so close to the play area so it's quite enjoyable to just sit and chat as adults while the kids run off and play. I would never choose to pay to eat here, but since it's free and on property, it's super convenient and worth it.

It's pirate themed and has epic Lego creations. My son loves the area where kids can play with Legos and it's nice for the parents too as it gives them a break. The food is served family style and you get a lot of bang for your buck as you can reorder as many things as you'd like. We chose the Pirate Platter which includes: a delicious salad with apples and pecan and honey bread upfront, then a platter of assorted meats such as brisket, steak, sausage, chicken, and ribs. The brisket is our favorite. It comes with green beans, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I really wanted to try some of the vegan platter so they brought that out for me at no extra charge. For dessert, we got a pan cookie with ice cream as well as the vegan chocolate fondue with fruits and marsh mallows. All of this unlimited for only $39 per adult and $19 per child with drinks included. Delicious and such a fun dinner experience! Since I stayed at the hotel, I also came here for breakfast as it is included in the stay. Breakfast is the same across all three Legoland hotels. It's also served family style and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, French toast or pancakes. You can add fruits, yoghurts, cereal, oatmeal at no up charge. We ended up purchasing 5 meals. 3 tropical burgers, 1 slider meal and the most expensive burger on the menu the "House burger", all came with fries. Total cost for all 5 was about 60$, and let me tell you right up front the price is similar to most burger places where you can sit and get drinks so it's kind of expensive in comparison for food that we are taking home and supplying our own drinks. The food took about 35 min. to be prepared, a bit long seeing as they were not busy, but the thought is always good food takes time. The real challenge is their timing on the food coming out. When a Family orders all the food should come out at the same time, it did not. We received the sliders about 5 minutes before the 2nd bag of food, ultimately I had to reheat it when we got home. The tropical burgers came out 2 at the same time and sat on the counter not bagged while the 3rd tropical and house burger were finishing up. We ended up having to reheat the 2 tropical burgers as well. We were only 5 mins from home. Final thoughts: We will definitely go back to try their empanadas, but we would not return for the burgers b/c of price and effort to reheat. It definitely is not for like $22 for adults and $17 for kids (which I think is the price I saw). It's the exact same breakfast you get at the Legoland hotel/pirate hotel. It's AYCE eggs, biscuits, sausage and bacon (or veggie sausage if you request it), French toast sticks and breakfast potatoes. Fruit, cereal and yogurt is available upon request. For me, the biscuits are delicious (we should always request extra since the kids like it.) I also like the vegan sausage. The kids like the bacon and sausage and sometimes the French toast sticks. Nobody likes the eggs. My husband loves the biscuit and gravy (the gravy has pork) and liked the potatoes. The coffee is atrocious, be warned. You might as well make it in the room and bring it. There is a Lego place for the kids at the back of the restaurant. The kids love the Lego area and it buys us some peace and quiet. Our server was fantastic. Service can be hit or miss, but I really liked ours this morning. We got there at 9 am and it was about a 25 minute wait. If it's free you might as well do it, if you don't get it free with the room you should skip.
