    Country side egg Benedict

Service was ok , little attitude of hurry to order , but passable , food was definitely not that great , the country style potatoes were barely cook and no flavor , then omelette was weird as they use American cheese , place a little dirty on the floors , definitely a no second time here .... Disappointing as had very good reviews

This cozy spot beckons a visit for breakfast all day. I visited when they first opened as Eggs Up. Now signs say Egg House. I'm not certain if they've sold but everything is just as tasty as before! I'm quite shocked at how quickly the hot foods are delivered given the constant arrival of added diners. Wait times were under five minutes as table quickly turned over with traveling tourists. Even a family group of fifteen was quickly accommodated! The coffee is typical diner coffee. It's not super strong but it is served with fresh cream as a provided option. I really loved the Mexican omelette! The eggs were fluffy and filled with peppers, onions, jalapeños, sausage and cheddar cheese. They also included scoops of salsa and sour cream to accompany the eggs. I'm not big on a side of potatoes but the home sliced home fries were tasty! My husband ordered the super 8 and really liked it. The two eggs, 2bacon, 2sausage and 2cakes were right inline with his appetite. He did sub out the cakes for the fluffiest French toast ever! He was delighted that his eggs were perfectly cooked as he's a picky eater. This diner is definitely doing things right. Service comes with a smile and plenty of great offerings on the menu!

This is going to be fun! This new Lake Wales breakfast spot just opened in January and appears to be setting the world on fire! Between Yelp and that other unnamed review site they already have over 100 reviews averaging 5 stars! I headed out to see what all the fuss was about. Arriving- Finding this place is a snap. It's on US 27 Northbound about 25 miles south of Interstate 4. The location used to be the Egg House restaurant. Parking is a breeze with plenty of spaces. Pro Tip- This area of US 27 has been under heavy construction the last couple of years. Expect detours, lane closures and general craziness. Ambiance- Not much. This is a one-room joint with about 8 booths and lots of four-tops. There is a counter that seats 7. Everything is spotless. Customer Service- Awesome 5-star service with absolutely no complaints! Pro Tip- They don't have their own Wi-Fi but there is a nearby Xfinity hot spot. If you have Comcast, you are good to go! Popularity- I showed up about 7:30 on a Sunday morning and my server was by herself. By 8:15 there were five servers hustling. Yikes! Food- The menu is classic American breakfast food except for one item and my eyes zeroed in on it like a laser! Marinated Beef Tips with Peppers & Onions as part of a breakfast platter! Oh, hell yes! I ordered this bad boy with two scrambled eggs, hash browns, and of course coffee. It set me back $18.50 pre-tip. Note that this is the most expensive item on the breakfast menu. Most everything else is cheaper. The coffee was great. The tips were marinated as advertised. I could taste a little garlic and admired the beautiful grill marks. They were delicious and a large portion. My eggs were just fine, and my hash browns had a nice crisp but were not burnt. This was one fine breakfast backed by great service! I'm going to join the crowd and say five-stars!

I stoped in traveling across the state early on a cold rainy morning and this place was exactly what I needed. My food was perfectly cooked don't know if I was just really hungry but I couldn't find a thing wrong. Service was very fast and friendly. I definitely will be stopping here again, great breakfast.

Service was great. Our server was attentive and helped us make decisions on what to order. Food was just ok. All fried food was piping hot. Wish I had got the waffle fries instead of the regular fries. Catfish fingers were good, lightly breaded and crispy. Patty melt was a nice thick well seasoned burger and onions were caramelized well. Onion rings were blah, breading was too thick and onions were tough. Dining area appearance was ok. Lots of tables, minimal decor. Might come back to try breakfast.

This place only just keeps getting better! Country fried chicken breakfast was so good!!! I already can't wait to go back for more! Hubby got the western omelette and it was so good too, especially the jalapeño!!! Breakfast & Lunch served all day! Service is very good too. Young servers but work well & care. Place is clean, cozy & relaxing. So glad this place opened up here in Lake Wales!

Food was classic diner style. Omelettes were well prepared with generous fillings. Potatoes were good. Service was excellent. It's located in an old fast food restaurant. Lots of windows. Not much else. I recommend. Just don't expect more than good diner food and ambiance.

Great service for being so busy. First off, my all time favorite beer on draft! Michelob Amberbock!! Of course chilled mug! Ordered raw oysters, delicious. Then shared the fisherman's platter. Everything was yummy except the Fried oysters were not as good as everything else. Fresh made onion rings, scallops delicious. Very large seating area with Tiki bar next door.

Awful! We live in the area and come often.. we sat at 7.. took 20 minutes for server to even get to…read morethe table.. we received our food at 9! That's right 9! We ordered 3 burgers (2 med, 1 well done, the well done being for a child) and 2 tunas.. all 3 burgers came out wrong (wrong temp and wrong toppings, one burger had wire brushing in it, which owner argued, saying there's no way) tuna was ice cold, and not seared cold, like fridge cold (which again owner argued saying there's is no way) . Server was great and apologized over and over ( which she should not be apologizing she's not the one in the kitchen) owner (female) finally came to the table, asked us how our dinner was. When we expressed how it was, she began to argue with us, saying there is no way that things were wrong. At one point addressing the server as if she was the one who made our food. At this point, we had enough and knew it was not going anywhere! The owner did take off 1 burger and 1 tuna.. which was appreciated. After being talked down too, we all expressed at the table, that we would rather just pay our bill and leave! Not one time were we rude, disrespectful or mean in any way to be spoken to the way she spoke to us. Absolutely wild experience! We truly love this place.. but this has definitely set a tone. Edit... Her response says it all! Facial expressions were because we were absolutely appalled at the fact that she was arguing about our experience! While ahi tuna is supposed to have a cool center the fish was ICE COLD.. FRIDGE TEMP FROM TOP TO CENTER! When asked to take it back to heat it.. it was microwaved.. which then turned it gray.. but once returned that pink center was cool, not FRIDGE COLD! The wire brush was in the burger.. she argued with us stating it was a hair from the onion(which burger was supposed to have no onion) .. even though you could perfectly see it was a copper wire of some sort! Mind you it was found at the end of the burger. The reason we didn't take the offer of new food, is because we were done.. 2 hours to get our food, and they waited till the absolute end, to approach our table! By that point we had eaten what we could and she was speaking to us by this point like we were awful people.. WHY WOULD WE STAY ANOTHER HOUR! Especially after being talked to like she was! We couldn't get a word in! So as you can tell about her response from here, you can only imagine her response in real time!!! Horrible display of an owner!

We found the relatively large restaurant mostly full when we arrived. There were multiple rooms with a full bar on one side with lots of people having a great time and lots of great food in a place that still felt homey and cozy with a water skiing cow and Statue of Liberty. My wife came for the Crab Leg Special that included 2 lbs of crab at significantly cheaper prices than other restaurants in the area. The crab was fresh and cracked easily and pulled easily like it should. As good as it gets in central Florida. I opted for the larger Low Country Seafood Boil that also included the Crab Legs and added Prawns, Corn, Uncle John Sausage and Potatoes. The prawns were huge and I chose the Old Bay Seasoning versus Garlic Butter and another boil seasoning option. At market price, it was still reasonably priced and tasted great. Our lovely waitress was very attentive and insisted we save room for dessert. We were so glad we did as we shared the most wonderful Crooked Apple Pie Ala Mode. The spiced apples were cooked in a crispy Fried Tortilla Bowl, covered with Vanilla Ice cream and topped with Caramel Sauce and Cinnamon. As good as it gets. They also have an Orange Creamsicle Cake, Key Lime Pie, Cheese Cake and Peanut Butter Pie that are all made in house. As we left, live music started. This is an iconic place that must be experienced when in Polk County and we look forward to eating here again soon.

We arrived a bit after 5 pm, too late to take advantage of early bird food specials but in time for happy hour (which ends at 6). This gave us 2-for-1 pricing on draft beer and house wine. We were seated immediately. By the time we left (around 6:30) there was a wait. We ordered drinks, and these and rolls were delivered with cinnamon butter and pats of plain butter. I ordered the Tuesday special, grouper "fingers," salad (soup is also a choice), and a sweet potato. My husband had linguine with chicken. Our server, Carmen, offered cinnamon butter for my sweet potato. Salad is tossed and plated at the table. It arrived well ahead of the entrées. We had the house-made ranch dressing. Overall, it was a pretty bland salad, mostly iceberg lettuce. The grouper was wonderful, lightly breaded and the perfect crispness. The portion of 3 filets was more than adequate. A small tub of Ken's tartar sauce was included. The cinnamon butter and sweet potato made an excellent combination and a great foil for the grouper. Everything was piping hot when it arrived. I wouldn't hesitate to order this combination again. My husband enjoyed his linguine. Given it was about an hour between when we were seated and when the entrées arrived, we thought the pace was rather slow. But the quality and quantity of food made up for it in my opinion.

We got to the store and they had many options to choose from. We got the Lemon pepper sauced wings 10ct. with fries, 1 Spicy Ramen, 1 Reg Ramen and 1 Beef Yakisoba to start. Everything was Yummy and enjoyed by all. The wings were cooked well and the sauce was on point. Both Ramens Spicy Beef and Pork were both flavorful and delicious. The Shrimp & beef Yakisoba Combo was flavorful, but the Shrimp was overcooked and I do wish they had a steak option. The beef was just ok. Steak is always better in my opinion. Beef is just the cheaper alternative and has a longer lifespan compared to Steak. I hadn't eaten all day, so I got some pork dumplings. From the reviews I read on YELP the donuts were the thing to try. So, I got an order of those for the table. The pork dumplings were fried, but only on one side. We like both sides with a bit of pan crusted flavor, but they were still YUMMY!!! The DONUTS OMG, they were so warm and delicious I am so glad we tried them. Donuts will definitely be a have to get every-time we come to Tasty Wings & and Ramen. They were that good!!! The service was acceptable, but a little more happiness in the customer service & knowledge of the menu wouldn't hurt. The second register person when I purchased the dumplings and donuts was a little better. The decor and ambiance were pretty basic with painted walls and basic furniture. Not really a huge space less than 10 tables. The Food to Value was decent, but the portion size of the Yakisoba could have been more. The Ramen's were on par with other places similar. The wings combo was a bit pricey, but the wings were delicious so they are worth the cost. Next time we are in the area we would definitely eat here again!!! AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

The yum sauce was watery and barely stayed on the small pieces of meat. The salmon was, I have to say, horrible. It was way overcooked, it was paper thin, cardboard dry and it was such a small portion, if there were two ounces I was lucky. It was the worst example of salmon I think I've ever been served. It was thrown half heartedly on top of the vegetables and, even soaked in teriyaki sauce, which it was, it was difficult to eat. I stopped for dinner on my way home to West Palm Beach from Tampa. I wasn't looking for a Michelin starred experience, but I was hoping for a nice dinner break during a long drive. I was disappointed.
