[[HIGHLIGHT]]Asher was our salesman, he was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We knew what we wanted and I'm stoked we left with that we wanted a TRD Pro Tacoma and at the deal we wanted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We totally appreciate you and your team making it happen, we love the truck[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and as someone who has serviced at RM Toyota for 20 years, I finally bought a Toyota from you and after this experience definitely will again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nick Larson in finance was also great!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thanks.

Update July 16, 2025, my brand new 2025 Toyota platinum. Bought it from Toyota Wilsonville, I would highly recommend them over this place.

I'm a registered nurse that works nights, I am pre-approved for a sequoia through my bank. I haven't test drove any of them, but I've been looking at all the models. Last night I sent out a few inquiries. The first phone call I got was from Royal Moore Toyota at 802 am (totally fine, I was excited ).Unfortunately, I didn't catch the sales Reps name. I told him that I had multiple inquiries out, and I didn't know exactly which Toyota he was calling about. He was very annoyed, and rude. Like I was a burden to him. I told him again I didn't know exactly which one I was interested in and that I haven't test drove any of them. He laughed multiple times during the phone call as if I again I was an inconvenience to him. Finally I told him thank you for your time, and hung up on him. Very unprofessional. You also lost a sale. I hope you get some extra training, you need it.

My salesman, Evan Miller, was outstanding from start to finish. There was absolutely no pressure at any point. We stayed in touch over the entire month while I worked through my options, and he was patient, responsive, and incredibly accommodating--even when I know I wasn't the easiest customer. He stuck with it until we found exactly what I wanted. With the help of Sales Manager Jacob Inukai, they not only secured the specific vehicle I was after, but actually exceeded my expectations. On top of that, they worked with me to get the deal exactly where I needed it to be. (Side note: there are a couple of fellow Army grunts working there as well--if you know, you know.) I also want to give a shoutout to Dave in Finance--he made that part of the process genuinely enjoyable, which is not something you hear often. Let's be honest--car salespeople don't always have the best reputation, and sometimes that's earned. I'm also at the stage in life where I have zero patience for pushy, high-pressure tactics. That's exactly what I didn't experience here. The entire team was straightforward, easy to work with, and focused on making sure I left satisfied. I can't say enough good things about this group. If you're looking for a dealership that treats you right and works with you--not against you--this is it. Thanks again to everyone at Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai--I'll definitely be back. Jeff B

My Hyundai Ioniq plug-in hybrid (PHEV) was towed to Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai for a 12V battery…read morereplacement in late March, after I had called Dick's to confirm the dealership was capable of servicing my make and model. I twice asked, in writing, that specific diagnostics were performed due to known issues with the electrical system of the model of vehicle I have and any applicable service bulletin be checked before the repair was closed. I was told that the requested work was done and was billed for it. My vehicle was at the dealership for about ten days, in part because Dick's had difficulty sourcing a part, which I ultimately located and brought in myself. Notably, when I had to have this same repair repeated at a second Hyundai dealership because the necessary records were not provided, it was completed over a few hours and full documentation was provided to me to verify that it was done correctly by certified staff. Communication with the service department at Dick's was also challenging and often required my follow-up, even when calls were promised at a specific day/ time by staff. After my car had been in their service center for a week, I called to check status and was told that the advisor who had been handling the repair no longer worked there and had left minimal information about why my car was there. When I picked the vehicle up, the trunk was left in disarray: the battery terminal cover was unsecured on the far side of the trunk, bolts and the old battery were dropped into a crevice, and both the trunk and battery compartment panels were left open and out of place. I immediately reported these issues to the service manager and was told that everything would be put back together. The panels were back in place when the car was returned to me the second time, but days later another Hyundai dealership found the components beneath them still unsecured, documenting in writing that the metal battery hold-down bracket and battery terminal cover had been left unsecured next to high-voltage components, presenting a risk of electrical arc or fire. While reviewing the documentation that Dick's provided to me, I noticed that the battery test Dick's provided was run using an AGM setting, despite the 12V OEM battery in my Ioniq being a conventional (non-AGM) type. When I flagged this to the dealership as an issue and asked for copies of the diagnostic records and further information about the work I paid for, they declined. When I asked for confirmation that the technician who performed the work on my car was certified for hybrid vehicles, the dealership told me it considered the matter closed and declined to engage further. Dick's own website blog advises customers to ask "Are Your Technicians Hyundai-Certified?", says its service creates "an official, verifiable record of all maintenance and repairs," and describes its team as "Hyundai Master Certified." Hyundai's technician training catalog (publicly available on its careers website) states hybrid-vehicle work requires its "Specialist" level certification, while the staff training report Dick's service manager provided lists all of its staff as "Certified" (the level below Specialist). If you own a Hyundai PHEV, HEV or EV, I strongly recommend following Dick's published advice and obtain confirmation of technician certification and the availability of service records before authorizing work or considering the purchase of a CPO vehicle from this dealership. Update, July 3, 2026: Thank you for your response. My direct correspondence with the dealership consisted of two emails before the service manager closed communication and directed me to pursue the matter through external channels. I followed that advice. By the dealership's own account, this matter has been ongoing for several months. During that time, the dealership has had the opportunity to provide objective documentation: service records, technician certification, or a response explaining how its practices align with Hyundai's published training framework, and has not done so. The statements in my review are supported by an independent written assessment from a second Hyundai dealership, written communications with Hyundai Motor America, as well as Dick's and Hyundai's own publicly available documentation.

Unfortunately, just three days after bringing it home, the check engine light came on. We had the car looked at by our mechanic and were told it needs a new catalytic converter--something that typically fails over time, not overnight. When we contacted the dealership, we were told the vehicle was sold "as-is," which we understand. However, it's very concerning that such a major issue showed up almost immediately after purchase. It raises serious questions about whether this problem existed prior to the sale and whether it should have been disclosed. Overall, this experience has left us feeling misled and disappointed. We expected more transparency, especially after being assured the vehicle had gone through a thorough inspection. Buyers should be cautious and consider having any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing.

Once I identified the problem, I brought it back immediately because this is a major safety concern. I was told the issue had been fixed. However, after being out of the country for two months, I returned to find two flat tires again--clearly, the problem was never properly resolved. The dealership then offered to buy the vehicle back for $33,500. I did not feel this was a fair price given what I originally paid, but I didn't have the time to continue dealing with the situation and felt stuck accepting it. What's even more concerning is that the same vehicle is now listed for $40,000 with the same rims that caused the issue in the first place. Selling a vehicle that cannot reliably hold air in its tires raises serious safety and legal concerns. This experience felt dishonest and careless when it comes to customer safety and resolution. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

I feel that this dealership was repeatedly dishonest with me during and after the purchase of my vehicle. During the sale, the person handling the paperwork raised their voice at me several times while I was reviewing documents, which felt like an attempt to rush me into signing without a full review. Afterwards, he pressured me to write a review at the desk with him present. After the purchase, my mechanic found the car needed over $1,000 in repairs. In addition, several fluids were low, and both the engine and cabin air filters needed to be replaced. None of this was disclosed at the time of sale. Regarding the Nissan Altima mentioned above -- that was my former vehicle, which I traded in for a $200 discount. The dealership explicitly told me it was going to the junkyard. That was the only reason I agreed to part with it for so little. Based on a mechanic's inspection that can be seen on the vehicle's CARFAX, I believe the junkyard is the best place for this vehicle: it had a split CV axle and extensive power steering issues, with repairs estimated around $10,000.

About a week after I had purchased this car the check engine light came on and I took it to a mechanic. The mechanic had a long list of things wrong with my car, he had said his reader pulled up 30 codes, something that had never happened before. The most concerning part of this for me is that the air bags had been tampered with, the mechanic said it was likely a salvaged title, and the car is unsafe to drive. I was not informed of any accidents. The car is still running but makes very strange sounds, and I do not drive it more than 15 miles at a time, and I feel very trapped by these circumstances. As a single mom I cannot afford to get another car loan. Although they claim to sell the vehicles as is and are unwilling to make returns, after many conversations and threats to pursue legal action, they were willing to take the car back, but asked me to pay DMV fees and mileage, to which I declined as I had already paid DMV fees and am unwilling to pay mileage. It is very concerning to me that so many people have come out with similar experiences to mine in such a small amount of time. I have spoken with a lawyer, filed a consumer complaint and I am prepared to proceed forward with legal action. If anyone that has fallen victim to this business would like to work together for justice, please reach out.

On the flyer it breaks down your odds because only 1-2 people can win the good ones but the prize everyone else gets is a smart watch. I decide to go down on Friday night, day 4 of the promotion. The first thing the guy tells all of us is that they are out of the watches so there are no prizes, unless you won a major prize (even he said only one of those had been claimed). They only got 400 watches in and had over 500 people show up. So they lured me in under false pretenses and they think I'm still gonna want to buy a car from them??? Incorrect. This is my first impression of the entire dealership, whether these guys work for Dick's or not. The guy then tells me I can come back on Saturday because they MIGHT get more in. Why would I come back and waste my time two days in a row with that kind of answer? This dealership started off our relationship with a lie and that is why I will never do business here. Even if Dick's had no control over the prize inventory, they ultimately let this contest take place on/for their dealership. Why wouldn't they bring enough? Why wouldn't they have some other stand by prize if this happens. The guy said they travel the country doing this so I am sure it's not the first or last time they'll be short. It could be something small like a Nissan key chain but they did nothing to show they valued my time so I will put no value in their dealership. There are much better/more honest dealerships in town that don't have to rely on half-cocked giveaways with out of town salespeople.

I truly felt like royalty, the treatment was so top-tier I don't think I will ever step inside of another companies dealerships again to purchase any vehicle. My salesmen, Christian (Royal Moore Mazda), was the kindest, goofiest and most enjoyable person I could ever have to help me with my journey of purchasing a car. He was so knowledgeable and created such a huge impact on me while creating a bond of friendship and trust as well. I could not have asked for a better experience to replace the bad memories someone else created for me. Thank you so much Nathan, you truly made the day even more special. Also for the record, NATHAN SAID. Last but absolutely not least, if it wasn't for David, the general sales manager over at Royal Moore Toyota, I wouldn't have had this opportunity to purchase a brand new car at all. With his help and a miracle I was able to climb my way out of a fraudulent bad deal with another dealership.
