I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL....ESPECIALLY TIM CLAUSEN. Highly unprofessional. He gave me 3 different quotes over the phone, wasn't listening to my concerns, Said he was listening but I could tell and hear he put his phone away from his ear and I could hear him talking to someone else and came back to the phone saying "I understand" when I asked him questions. The thing that really got me was when he said I needed to pay by Aug 31 because he said it was the end of the month and he wanted to get paid for my service. I was shocked when he said that. Then when I texted him back saying I would take it to GMC of Beaverton (where I usually take my GMC) he texted some sob story about dealing w someone before me and was pretty rattled. Ha How unprofessional!! Then when I did get my car back, I went inside to pay, super condescending and my car was a mess! Backseats were down, my stuff was everywhere inside the car and my door handle was broken. So you can tell I was not satisfied with my experience.....Tim made me feel like he was that sleazy car salesman! Yes he apologized but he should've!!! He was super distracted, lied and rattled! I'm disappointed with GMC and Royal Moore in general. My truck sat at your dealership for 105 days due to a previous CCV issue last year, which was infuriating to say the least. Recently I took my truck (under 25,000 miles) in for a check engine light, which was diagnosed as a crankcase pressure sensor. Apparently this is not covered by my 5yr/100,000 powertrain warranty. It doesn't make sense as the crankcase is a powertrain component. Additionally, my 8yr/80,000 emissions warranty did not cover the sensor. Apparently it falls on the 3yr/50,000 emissions warranty. Perhaps if I had driven the truck during the time it sat at Royal Moore for 105 days it could had fallen under warranty if the issue presented itself. Lastly, Tim forgot to get the oil change I had requested completed at time of pickup. He had hand written the oil change request on the original paperwork, but forgot to follow through, which should be embarrassing. He wasted my time, which is just the cherry on the top. I was in the process of swapping out my truck out for a 6.2 Denali Ultimate with Brandon, but due to the lack of GMC and dealership support I will now look to the competition for my next truck in the coming weeks. read more

I still stand with my original post that working with the Mazda Royal Moore team was easier/better than Kia or Toyota. I did reduce one star due to some after sale issues. I bought the hybrid CX-50 under the contract that they would install a trailer hitch package. Apparently, Mazda doesn't make an OEM hitch kit for the hybrid model. I feel this is something the sales team, and finance team, or someone on the team should have known. I mean, it is the brand they sell. I love Mazdas, but I would not have done the trade/sell if I'd have known this. I needed a vehicle that could tow a small trailer. Mazda reps took over 3 months to get me a refund for the trailer hitch that I didn't get. I felt that the time it took to work through this issue was entirely too long and I had to be the driving force. No one called me to ensure this was taken care of. I had to keep calling to get the issue resolved. In the end I was given advice that I could go to U-Haul and they could possibly get me a trailer hitch kit that would fit on my CX-50. At this point, it is what it is. I can't say the guys at Mazda weren't nice guys. But I can say the right hand didn't seem to know what the left hand was doing in my case. I still love my Mazda better than the RAV4, and would come here again, but next time I'd do a lot more research. read more

Don't try and deal with Royal Moore's arrogant sales staff. I tried to buy a 2021 Ford Escape that was listed for $19,900. I had been researching what these were going for for several months. So I made an offer of $17,500, a low but fair deal. The best the sales staff could do was $19,200. I stated I knew something about the automotive sales markup. This seemed to piss the head salesman off. He had to inform me that they had a spreadsheet that showed the prices of all Ford Escapes in a certain area. So I walked. Over the last month and a half the price has dropped many times. During that time I offered $18,000 but the offer was not good enough. Now the price sits at $17,600, a $100 dollars above my lowest offer. Has anyone contacted me, No. I feel this is because I pissed of the head salesman because I would dare state I knew something about car sales. I also know the Escape has been on the lot for months and will go to auction soon. I feel that the head salesman is leaching of the junior sales staff. Instead of making a sale and allowing the junior salesman make a commission, He allowed is pissed off attitude and unprofessionalism to tank the sale. read more
