I called at 2:45pm ordered 2 salads with beef on it for local delivery ... after 45 mins called them back to see what's going on they saId on the way. After waiting snot 30 mins I called to cancel he said okay & hung up on me without saying any word. I love their pizza! Portions are nice and big to share. The wings are some of the best wings I've had. Always a must when in la & they are super quick to get the orders ready. I've been eating at this place for over ten years ( since I graduated high school) they have a chicken sandwich and wow!!!! It's worth it- the bread is great too. My go-to pizza spot!! They just delivered my order and I thought it was time for a 5 star review! I order from here at least twice a month. Any and every kind of pizza is super fresh, delicious and inexpensive! And their philly cheese steak and fries are bomb!! They give a fair amount of time for delivery, and it's always early. My two year old son absolutely loves their food. I'm beyond lucky I live so close to them! Extremely rude staff & horrible customer service and food is OK! The staff who prepare the food never smile at you or say hi. They looks so demanding deems like they are royal family. They never wear hairnets and gloves, very rude and unprofessional!! 5 stars for a good solid pizza (quality ingredients and good taste), and this place cannot be beat in terms of value for the buck, (especially for me - because its walking distance from my house ). Still, the pizza keeps me coming back as it also meets my (fairly high) pizza standards- for flavor, and convenience. I typically drive over and pickup- although sometimes parking can be tricky (with traffic & the metro station across the street & and same side of street as Royal Pizza) - they have an online orders/delivery option- pickup and delivery options are available through GH site. Don't try to phone them, only online or walk-in ordering (the phone method requires leaving a message, so I'd stick to the other two methods). read more

For our outreach events, pizza is usually the go to food for the large group of volunteers. The use of Yelp to help find local businesses is what we usually rely on and this was no exception. Royal Pizza was open early and deliver locally, which is always a plus to feed the hungry helpers after a couple hours of walking. Pizzas were very reasonably priced, (about $7 for large one topping pizza) especially on our budget. We ordered a variety from a fully loaded veggie to bbq chicken (my fave) of the bunch. Since there was a little of each left over I made sure to take a slice of each to try (don't judge me!). All the pizzas were evenly sauced and full of toppings (other places sometimes skimp out). I really loved how cheesy each slice was as well. So if you are looking for yummy pizza then Royal is the place to go! We will probably use them again if we plan other event in the area! read more

You got my hopes up so I tried it, only to get a run-of-the-mill doughy, bready, average LA pizza similar in style to crappy chains like Domino's or Papa John's. It's not horrible food, it's just not good pizza. Yes it's cheap, filling and the toppings are fresh, but if you actually like quality pizza look elsewhere. We did also try their ajarski khachapuri (a football-shaped Georgian specialty made from pizza dough, salty cheese and two fried eggs) and it was delicious. However, it also would pale in comparison to an ajarski made elsewhere with a more impressive dough. read more

The food is simply great. I've never tried their pizzas but I have had their sandwiches. The Philly cheesesteak is packed with flavor. They use yummy peppers and onions to give the sandwich an extra kick. I'd also recommend the chicken sandwich. The flavors are unique and will keep you wanting more. The only problem I have with this place is the service. The staff seems a bit cold and distant. Other than that it's great food for a cheap price. read more

That's exactly what i got, the best pizza and cheese bread I've had in a LONG time. I ordered the Royal SUPREME pizza (over the phone i just said royal pizza and the man said they don't have anything called that) a pepperoni, and cheese bread! I walked in and the majority of the employees who were preparing the pizza as well as the gentleman at the counter were not wearing masks over their mouth or nose. When I asked the man at the counter why not, he told me if I was scared to stay home. It seems a reasonable expectation that those who work in food service should wear masks during a pandemic. The man didn't make me pay for the pies (he took them back) but nonetheless I found the workers at this place to be irresponsible, rude, and have a lack of regard for the health and safety of their customers, at least in this instance. read more

I was walking by this shop and was literally stopped by the wonderful smells coming from this place. I saw their sign said shawarma and I had to stop by. I lusssssttt royal pizza I was a little hungover from the other night and I knew I needed something greasy to get me right. I usually get a small pizza with pepperoni and chicken and it sets me back about $8 now. The time I call in the order from the time I pick it up is about 10 minutes. I've tried there chicken wings which they bake and the big girl in me wishes they would fry them just because when they're baked reminds me of the frozen Wings you can buy at Costco. Blehhh I really deducted a star because when I call I wish they would be a little more enthusiastic or some type of excitement you're selling me a pizza sheesh! As other reviews mentioned, I didn't get a "hi" either when I walked in, but I went straight to the counter and got some immediate attentive service -- which I appreciate. My sister ordered a small pizza as well as my long sought after ajarski. Her pizza came out first and it was super yummy with a little bit of grease, enough where it's good but not too much where it's gross. I tried the ajarski for the first time and although I had totally no clue how to eat it -- it was soooooooo good. It was a little messy, but with a fork and knife and plenty of napkins, I was fine. I wish I had a side of something fresh though, so consider ordering a salad so you can have a brightness along with it. This place is small with a couple of tables for lunch time customers.
