OMG we love this restaurant!!! I wish this restaurant was near my house so I could eat here every week. Why can't you move to New York? The food is so good! There are so many Indian restaurants near where we live, but seriously, this place has food that is so much better. I ordered two mango lassi's--yummmmm, then I had samosa chaat which was amazing! My husband had daal sorba (Nepali lentil soup), he said it was the best lentil soup he'd ever had! For mains, I had bhindi masala (okra dish)--so good and similar to Ora I had in an Indian restaurant in Queens that I've been searching for years to taste again--it's cravable! The hubs had lamb biryani, with he said was so tender and so yummy! He told me that the quality of the lamb was very high quality. Much better than the usual meat we have gotten in other Indian restaurants! We ordered a poori bread, raita and we shared rasmalai for dessert. We were both stuffed and took home half our food for dinner tomorrow after we get home. The portions are so huge. Don't order as much food as we did! From my very first experience here I was thoroughly impressed. My first order was take out,which was perfectly packaged and secure. But most importantly...every single thing in my order was exceptional, from the tikka masala wrap, to the butter chicken and even better...the fried momo. Exceptional! My second order was for dine in. Everything inside of the restaurant was extremely clean! I always gauge a restaurant's cleanliness by their cups of water and utensils...both were SPOTLESS, not to mention...the water taste "clean" as well, lol. My third order was for the tandoori tikka chicken, all dark meat. My only suggestion for this would be to maybe stop cooking about 5-7 minutes sooner, as the meat was pretty dry. I would consider myself a regular here and it is worth a stop if you like indian food. The lamb and chicken dishes are always cooked beautifully, the sauces are always well spiced and always correct according to the requested spice level, and the host is always warm and inviting. My vegan friend and I go here because of all the options. That is huge because it can be difficult to find a place that we are both satisfied with. The atmosphere could use some work and occasionally the staff can be a little too casual, but nothing that I would ding them on in this review. Still, the food makes it worth it. read more

Such a nice little hole in the wall! It's right next to the gym so my husband and I decided to try it out and my gosh, it did not disappoint! We were first drawn to the restaurant from the aroma! After working out we couldn't resist the smell! The man serving us was a sweet gentleman and took care of the front house all by himself. It's amazing this restaurant has survived COVID and I'm so glad! The interior is cute and there is a lot of seating. It'll be a nice spot to have dinner with the family especially since the food comes out family style. They had starters which looks like Indian chips with 3 dipping sauces. Tamarind, mint, and Indian pickle. My favorite was tamarind but my husband loved the mint. The Indian pickle has really strong flavors so it might not be for everyone. My husband and I ordered the Lamb Tika Masala and Buttered chicken, such great dishes! They were both so flavorful and the rice is so fluffy! The food is tasty and packaged well for carry out. They add plastic wrap around the containers (it's a bit extra because the containers close fine. The Kashmiri Naan is really good, sweet. Consider it dessert. I've had both the saag paneer and the paneer tikka masala. Their green chutney is good it not spectacular (this happens to be my favorite condiment so I judge based on its flavor and spiciness). Note that they don't provide it unless you specifically ask (and when I ordered online, with the request in the special directions, it was still not included until I asked, this is how I know they don't read the online orders). So, don't order online, they don't look at it enough. Call. Although the phone is sometimes busy. They also took my credit card for a charge and forgot to give it back. A plus is that they requested ID before giving it back. The minus, no apology or anything. Since I had to go back I ordered another entree. This time they used the chip reader on the front counter and I came home with good food and my credit card. read more

My sister and I tried the buffet today after being enticed from a Facebook ad. It was empty so we were seated right away. The waiter/ owner (I assume) was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean. Now to the important part. The Food. Yummmmm. We told the owner that they should post some buffet pics as that would prob be great to market the place. We looked on Yelp and website and there were no pics. So I took some as I went to get my 2nd plate. The variety was great. Starting off with salad fixings. Along w sauces. The buffet food looked fresh and was steaming. We arrived for lunch about 12 noon. Buffet hours are from 11:30pm - 2:30pm Tuesday - Sunday. They are closed on Monday. Big thing for the thumbs up was the staple fresh Naan. I tried a bit of everything saving a few things for my 2nd round. They had a great variety of of authentic vegetarian and meat dishes. The eggplant dish was yummy as well as the butter chicken and chicken curry. All of it was tasty. Hence the 2nd full plate. The owner told us they change the menu. I had high hopes for this place. I ate there once and I loved their butter chicken, I placed an online order for the same thing a week later. They must of messed up my order because it was not butter chicken, not the same color & not good at all. The chicken was really dried out and just tasted bad. Rather good Indian/Nepali food. My favorite dish was the Grilled Madras Chicken Wings. They were sauced well and grill to perfection. I asked for and got a small tub of mixed achar/mixed Indian Pickles and they were a perfect complement to the wings. I ordered the Chicken 65 ($14) with plain basmati rice ($6). It is outrageous to charge $6 for plain rice. The Chicken 65 is listed as an appetizer but yet they charged $14 for it and the quantity was insufficient to qualify as a meal. It was a big disappointment because there were only a few green onions and they were very skimpy with the sauce. The meal failed both in cost and taste.
