Why am I having Thai food in Cape Cod? Restaurants close here at 8:30!!!!!!! I can't get over this. It makes me feel pressure to get hungry and start eating by 8 or it may be too late! Anyway so while we were driving back to our Inn expecting to eat at Wendy's I saw a big red Open sign in the corner of my eye. The place wasn't busy and the waitress/ hostess...and possibly chef... seated us right away. The menu was pretty standard with noodle items, fried rice items and curry items. My husband got the "Crazy Noodles" ( called Drunken Noodles at most other Thai restaurants) and I got the green Thai curry with beef. The food came pretty quickly, I imagine that it's all prepared ahead of time. Nevertheless it tasted pretty good with lots of fresh vegetables. My beef was a bit odd in texture but it tasted fine. It likely wasn't the best cut of beef. The chicken in my husband's noodle dish was also a bit rubbery. All in all I thought the food was OKAY in terms of flavor. 3 stars from a lady from Brooklyn - America's Thai Food Epicentre - is pretty darn good!!! It doesn't look like much, but I highly recommend. The food was great and if you ask for advice, you'll get it. We went by their spice recommendations, which was great for one of us, the other needed more. They brought more chili paste to accommodate. We ordered a bunch of food. The dumplings were great, the pad see ew was nice, the Tom yum soup was excellent. The service was wonderful. This place is so rude. We entered the restaurant at 6:10pm and told the waiter who was managing the restaurant that we were trying to make a show at 8pm about 30 minutes away. The waiter even asked us what show we were seeing. We placed our order. Nearly 25 minutes later, the waiter came back and rudely said that the food was going to take a very long time so we should probably leave. A solid, no frills Thai Restaurant with a surprisingly extensive menu. I really appreciate the fact that what they advertise as vegetarian and not as with many other Thai restaurants anchovy based. There is no fish used in their vegetarian entrees. They are also open in the winter and have extensive hours - very good for the Outer Cape. The service is excellent! read more

We are a family of four and ordered beef noodle soup, spicy pad Thai, crazy noodle with soft toufu, and a beef Thai fried rice. We went late Sunday night and it was not too busy just 4 tables of customers. The service was good and you can BYOB. The beef noodle was tasty, we ordered the spicy pad Thai extra spicy it definitely hit the spot. The other 2 dishes were good too. I really like Thai food, but sometimes I have trouble distinguishing between what is considered "good" and what is considered "mediocre" or "bad", so I am not great a comparisons. I ate here with my parents. They weren't really into coming here because they don't consider Thai food to be worthy of a Cape Cod vacation dinner. It was later in the night and there were only 2 other tables filled in the restaurant, but it took awhile for the waitress to come and take our order. Seriously - my dad almost got up and went into the kitchen to look for her. Once we placed our order, the food came out really quickly. We all loved our dishes. I would lick red curry sauce off the ground, but my parents can be hard to please with Asian dishes. Both got the Pad Thai and various appetizers and thoroughly enjoyed them. The restaurant is owned by a young lady in her 20s who took over the restaurant from her father. She is unbelievably pleasant and accommodating. The one thing that keeps this review from being 5 star is that the red curry was advertised as very spicy and, while delicious, could have had more of a zing to it. read more

some of the best Thai food I've had outside of Boston. I'm allergic to corn and when i announced my allergy, they did all they could to make sure that my food was not only allergen free, but delicious! i wasn't thrilled that my boyfriend's food came out way before mine, but i was still marveled at how flavorful my Spicy Pad Thai was and the steamed vegetable dumplings were some of the best I've ever had! My boyfriend's non-spicy Pad Thai was a bit bland looking and despite him liking it, after the small taste he offered me, i thought it didn't taste like much as it was missing the Thai basil and a few other key ingredients. The place was a bit small and lacked a lot of space, but it made it cozy. The walls were covered in chotskies and other Thai/Asian artwork, which made it a bit busy and headache inducing, but the food made up for the crazy, overdecorated atmosphere. I was there on a rainy day during the off-season, so we were seated right away, but it might have a wait during peak season as it's right on 6A in Eastham and restaurants seem to be few and far between there. overall, it was worth a second trip and i highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a break from the fried seafood found nearly everywhere on the Cape. read more

When we walked in to one our favorite restaurants this summer the guy at the front acted like we should be grateful to be seated by him. Okay... Our kids eagerly sat at our 'regular table' while the waiter sort of skulked. When we ordered he asked if we knew what we were getting and while happily sharing that: yes! we love this place! He was quick to tell us that it was under new management. From "California." I'm not sure how that's relevant but alright. Dinner arrived and was yummy as always: green curry, pad see ew, pad thai and tofu broccoli. There was a question about an ingredient in one of our dishes and instead of checking with the kitchen the same guy barked at us: no you're wrong. Um, ok. Overall the food is good, the service stinks. Maybe the old management needs to come back? We used to sing this places praise but now I'm not sure if we'll return to this former favorite. read more

Pad Thai is the dish I always use to compare Thai restaurants, and the takeout pad Thai I got from this place was the worst I have ever had. Too sweet, too acidic, and no vegetables or sprouts, and little chicken or shrimp. $12 for pad thai! Steamed dumplings were okay, but nothing to rave about. Fantastic restaurant that serves great tasting, authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price. The Pad Thai in particular is excellent, with the proper blend of salty/sweet/sour flavors balanced harmoniously in one dish. It is hard for most places to get this right but these chefs know what they are doing and so the dish is very, very good, like homemade. The yellow curry is also highly recommended, as well as their fresh summer rolls. Royal Thai Garden is a rare find. read more

Royal Thai is wonderful! My stomach was still feeling queasy from the fried oysters that I had the day before at Arnolds and we were headed to the Wellfleet Cinema and needed a break from seafood. Delicious- we were a bit unsure if Thai food on the Cape would be decent or not, but the reviews are right- it's excellent. We got take out and had Pad Thai, cashew chicken and a house salad. The portions are generous- the salad and peanut dressing were great. We had to provide our own paper plates and utensils- not sure if they would have provided them because we forgot to ask. Very tasty food, it was great to find a good Thai place on the Cape. I tried the thai eggplant entree and my boyfriend got the green curry. The curry was A-MAZING and the eggplant was very very good.
