The dumplings were so juicy I accidentally bit into one and it went everywhere lol, really good though. I also got the scallion pancakes it was delicious. This place is so good!!! The ladies that worked there were so sweet and friendly and the restaurant had cute decoration and places to sit. Came here for the first time on a weekend vacation for a quick lunch. It was pretty quiet with limited seating inside and some picnic tables outside. I would describe the food as a good version of a basic menu. I ordered pork dumplings, crab rangoon and bbq pork buns which were prepared fairly quickly. The rangoons were pretty full which was nice. The dumplings were basic with a good dipping sauce. The pork buns were also basic but nothing a little chili oil on the side couldn't kick up a notch. Overall I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. I was so happy to find this restaurant in the area. The food was amazing. I came here with my mother, and we ordered shrimp dumplings, scallion pancakes, and tarot bubble tea. I missed the flavor and texture of scallion pancakes and shrimp dumplings so much. Although the bread of the scallion pancakes had been thicker than I was used to, but it was still delicious. I also loved the shrimp dumplings, because of the flavor and the texture. They were everything I hoped that they would be. The restaurant did forget my tarot bubble tea with my order, but they made it quickly when I asked. Everything was amazing and made quickly. Tasty dumplings- unique and original fillers. Tried the tofu and brussel sprout filler and was pleasantly surprised how tasty they were! First experience with the Truro location and WOW! The food was done on time and the service could not have been friendlier. The dumplings alone are worth the price of admission. Both the beef and the chicken were outstanding. We also had the lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, udon noodles and won ton soup. Nothing compared to the dumplings but all of it was great. Really solid food - the crab rangoons were absolutely unreal, so fresh!! I wish I had tried the dumplings but given the proximity to the beach, took a chance on the rangoons and was not disappointed. Edited review. Unfortunately, due to Covid, it was probably two years since I last left a review here and gave them three stars. We came back again simply because my other half is Asian, And once in a while likes to reconnect to the Borg Continuum. Likes. The taste on the dumplings (we got the pork ones) has vastly improved and it's delicious now. The sauce they put on it is not straight soy sauce, and is also tasty. The real delight was the fried shrimp. I've attached pictures to the review. It was spectacular. The batter is lighter than before, it is slightly crispy, and the shrimp are very flavorful. I highly recommend this place now. Well done, guys! Dislikes. Very, very few. I'd say it would be nice to have a recycle bin somewhere(there's a City one 20 feet away), and it'll be nice to be able to cut the dumplings with a knife. Right now, we are attempting it with an extremely inexpensive fork and half of a chopstick. The problem is that both of those items would increase the cost of the product for them, and if I were they, I would be resistant to changing, too. read more

Other than very friendly service, there is nothing positive about this place. The fried rice was inedible. No idea what kind of rice they used but I hope my review is seen by them and they try to use the rice variety almost every other Asian place uses that is tastier and softer. The dumplings were oily. This restaurant is a solid no. Spend your money elsewhere. The fried chicken wings are thickly battered, greasy and from a freezer bag. The crab rangoons are not wontons but triangular shaped samosas with a filling that is not good. The dumplings we got steamed were also from a freezer bag with a filling that is not good. The worst was the vegetable lo mein which was excessively oily with a 1/2 C. oil on the bottom with over cooked vegetables and gone bad broccoli. read more

this is a review for the Truro shop, which opened a week ago. I ordered online last night and had the strangest restaurant experience ever. It took 2 and 1/4 hours to complete my order. It wasn't just me. The store had many other people waiting for long periods for their orders. A family of 4 with a simple order waited 2 hours. When someone's order was finally completed the entire store began clapping and cheering - if that gives you a sense of it. When I fiinally got my food my noodles were ice cold, my pan fried dumplings were initially burnt black on one side, and the shrimp dumplings were disgustingly fishy. Maybe they will work out these issues but for right now things are pretty broken over there. read more

Superior dumpling outpost on the tip of the world. I want to start off first by saying this is a good take out location and not optimal for dine in - it is very casual and informal being steps from the beach / harbor. And though the dumplings are high class, the locale is not. ALSO don't even get lured into other menu items other than maybe soup. They really aren't going to come close to the dumplings - and you can find better at a run of the mill Chinese / Asian fusion restaurant. That being said - TRY ALL OF THE DUMPLINGS ! There are only usually 5 or 6 kinds and if they feel good about it a special one though with COVID it's been just the staples. The chicken and mushroom pan fried dumplings are all I dream about and when someone mentions P town I automatically dream about bathing in the delectable sauce that comes with any order of dumpling. First of all, I feel a little bad leaving a three-star review for a place called KUNG FU DUMPLINGS because of non-dumpling issues. Now given the name, I would never personally order things that aren't dumplings and I would say anyone who does is tempting the fates as far as a disappointing dining experience. But the rice and noodle dishes were so shockingly subpar that I had to deduct a star, even if the people in our party who ordered them never should've done that. Been wanting to try for a while, finally got in there a few days ago. Not much to say except outstanding food, great amount of variety to appeal 5o any taste, very reasonable prices, clean a d attractive setting, exuberant, pleasant and helpful staff...don't know if I forget anything? Not everything is positive though, to be honest...location is a little 'challenging ', but so is everything located on the Commercial Street corridor in P'town (not their fault of course). But if you can handle parking (or walking) and maneuvering crowds on the way there, you'll find it well worth the effort. Side note # there have frozen dumpli gs you can take and prepare at ho.e, too! Haven't tried this yet, but it is certainly on my short list! A great find, highest recommendation! read more

As somebody who will kill for a dumpling my expectations are high, and this place met them. If you just happen to be in town this should be your go to place. The food here is mouth watering dumplings here are no joke. Everybody is so nice and caring. They get your food to you in under 10 mins. The star of the show here is clearly dumplings. I am rather confused by the fact that every door and the wall has some sort of Chinese animated woman on it, but aside from that this place has good food, people, and a nice place, what more do you need? I've visited this dumpling shop on previous excursions to Provincetown. It didn't blow me away then; nor did it last night. But, it is what it looks like and the food is served quickly...albeit without a smile. I can't remember what I tried during prior trips, but last night I was VERY excited to see soup dumplings on the menu! So, we shared an order of those and a tray of steamed shrimp dumplings. These are made with eggs, scallions and shrimp. The soup dumplings are tasty...but there's no soup in them. They are basically good pork dumplings..but don't expect to slurp anything. I liked the flavor of the shrimp dumplings but my companion didn't care for them. Might have been a consistency thing? So, it's not like going to Chinatown in NYC. But, if you've had a few too many libations and want some hangover remedy fare, Kung Fu Dumplings is a good, quick choice. read more
