    Pork and shrimp dumplings

Queer o meter 10! People? 10! Food? 10! Nothing more to say really! It's a damn 10 every which way. All I got were those 2 dumplings and I could've eaten 50 more. If you like dim sum, go get these. There is some outside seating and inside counter seating but not much. It's a take out joint. Cheers!

Came here for the first time on a weekend vacation for a quick lunch. It was pretty quiet with limited seating inside and some picnic tables outside. I would describe the food as a good version of a basic menu. I ordered pork dumplings, crab rangoon and bbq pork buns which were prepared fairly quickly. The rangoons were pretty full which was nice. The dumplings were basic with a good dipping sauce. The pork buns were also basic but nothing a little chili oil on the side couldn't kick up a notch. Overall I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. Not terrible for a quick meal.

We all popped in here for some mid-day snacks in the off-season (late March) and we LOVED THEM! The second we walked in the door, we were met by a lovely woman behind the counter who was incredibly helpful in helping us choose which dumplings to order and which were the best sellers. These are addicting and we cannot wait to get back here for more. While we were waiting for our food, we chatted and got some fantastic recommendations of other local businesses in the area - thank you!!!

Got the steamed dim sum shrimp dumplings. Super delicious! My only complaint is that for a fast food appearing establishment, it took more than 15 minutes to get food.

I was so happy to find this restaurant in the area. The food was amazing. I came here with my mother, and we ordered shrimp dumplings, scallion pancakes, and tarot bubble tea. I missed the flavor and texture of scallion pancakes and shrimp dumplings so much. Although the bread of the scallion pancakes had been thicker than I was used to, but it was still delicious. I also loved the shrimp dumplings, because of the flavor and the texture. They were everything I hoped that they would be. The restaurant did forget my tarot bubble tea with my order, but they made it quickly when I asked. Everything was amazing and made quickly. I'm not in the area year-round, unfortunately, but I know that when I come back in the summer this would be one of my first stops in P-Town. Please come here if you love good food.

Tasty dumplings- unique and original fillers. Tried the tofu and brussel sprout filler and was pleasantly surprised how tasty they were! The scallion pancake was quite greasy- but sinfully delicious with crispy edges. The cardiologist would never approve of consuming these!!! The counter server was helpful and sweet too! Just hope they give the place a little facelift inside and a good cleaning.

First experience with the Truro location and WOW! The food was done on time and the service could not have been friendlier. The dumplings alone are worth the price of admission. Both the beef and the chicken were outstanding. We also had the lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, udon noodles and won ton soup. Nothing compared to the dumplings but all of it was great. Not what you would expect on the outer cape in December...such a pleasant surprise!

Really solid food - the crab rangoons were absolutely unreal, so fresh!! I wish I had tried the dumplings but given the proximity to the beach, took a chance on the rangoons and was not disappointed. The boba tea was pricey but super tasty and refreshing on hot day. King Fu Dumplings is a cute, casual spot with friendly and attentive counter person. This is a super affordable spot in an otherwise pricey area. They have a cute little back deck area (near public restrooms - helpful, but sometimes a little busy) and right off the beach!!

Located in Provincetown kung fu dumplings offers something no one else this side of Hyannis does....Asian dumplings. Steamed, pan fried, soup or savory they have it all. I don't know about you but on vacation I have food cravings. I realize it bizarre but I see something and I've got to have it. Dumplings are one of those foods. Hot, delicious, savory with tender pasta like skin and a savory filling...oh so good. Not the absolute best I've had kung fu dumpling does the job filling that outstanding craving for what my inner self desires. They do it at a somewhat reasonable price for the location (cape cod) and they do it with many different flavors and options. If you have a craving....do like I do and try kung fu dumping!

Delicious dumplings - I went to the new location in North Truro. Friendly, helpful staff and the dumplings are so so good!

Great place for dumplings in Provincetown. Had lunch with family. Great dumplings. This visit we got steamed and pan fried beef, steamed chicken dumpling, pan fried pork, Lo mein, and cheese steak egg roll. All excellent. Have self order stations as well cashier to order from. Picnic tables out back. Good quick service. Repeat customer for a reason.

Both drinks were very weak with perhaps too much juice or sour mix . After this was dropped off, the server did not come back for at least 20 minutes and did not give us water. We did take a couple sips of our drinks as we ate since there was nothing to wash our food down with as we waited. I informed the waitress that we did not like the drinks . She took them back and a very rude, defensive bar tender came to the table and insisted those drinks were fine and that's how he makes them for everyone. he asked if we wanted him to remake them and my boyfriend said yes as they took them back. I immediately thought that I should change mine to a glass of wine since that would not involve any mixing or expertise in cocktail making . I went back to tell them this and the bartender said it didn't matter since he intended to charge us for the two drinks that were 2/3 to 3/4 full along with the new drinks and accused me of trying to get extra. That was totally uncalled for , nasty and rude. It is so cheap for them to make a new drink that they should have accommodated the customer like any other establishment would. I took back the drinks since we were paying for them no matter what. We did not enjoy them but suffered thru them and cancelled the request for his remake.. No one should have to do that ... I didn't want to stay but my boyfriend was hungry . The hamburger came out burnt. and they chicken dumplings were horrible too. The french fries tasted like frozen fries. What a terrible disappointment !!!! We will never go back.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant. You would think that this place would have taken to mind the many negative reviews and made improvements. But no, the food is shockingly bad and shamelessly expensive. For many diners, the quality of a Thai restaurant's pad Thai speaks volumes about the rest of the menu, sort of a litmus test. The pad Thai was easily the worst version we ever had in over 30 years of dining out: I would not call it pad Thai because it is just a flavorless mishmash of ingredients. I figured out that the one major thing that was missing was tamarind sauce. Pad Thai is not pad Thai without this key ingredient. Stop calling this abomination pad Thai. To charge $34 for this crap is criminal. Giving cutesy names to unremarkable sushi rolls will not elevate their taste. The "Imagine Dragons" roll is nothing special and served with, I kid you not, a pea-sized ball of wasabi. My husband has to search for it around the plate, literally. The cucumber salad was bland. I ordered the martini without asking for the price so I did not know that I was paying 5-star hotel price for it. It was good but we had to ask our server to take it back because I was very clear when ordering that I wanted a rim of salt and it was served without salt. The service was... serviceable. Being the only Thai restaurant in Ptown, this may be the first taste of Thai cuisine for many people, and serving really bad food will not create new fans of the cuisine. Johnny Thai should reevaluate their menu and perhaps have a knowledgeable chef or cook give them constructive advice. As it is now, we will not be returning to Johnny Thai.

I see ratings here complaining about quality and speed... and I say this... comparing a lower-priced, casual spot to a higher-priced restaurant on quality and expectations isn't fair, as their resources, ingredients, and service models are just fundamentally different. Casual spots are designed to offer quick, accessible meals and a relaxed atmosphere and this local spot has never disappointed in our 4-5 visits here so far!
