I finally got a chance to wear something new from my closet...and then I got food on it. There are a lot of well-rated cleaners in my neighborhood, but I chose Royal Dry Cleaners bc they have good reviews and a Yelp deal. It's a mom and pop shop and they were nice and accommodating as they told me they weren't honoring the Yelp deal lol (which was ~2 years old). It's fine; i get it. Fortunately, Yelp refunded me. Fast forward, i dropped off the my jumpsuit and cardigan on a Friday and it was ready by Wednesday. I'm pleased with the job bc they got the stain out. read more

I have never Yelped before and may never Yelp again but feel compelled to share. It amazes me that in this economy where small businesses are doing their best to stay in business that Royale Cleaners are immune. I was just treated with total indifference by the owner. They lost a shirt and refused to compensate me for it. I work for a company who has a motto to do what's right. Obviously this cleaners needs to move in that direction. read more

Stopped by here last week to drop off my husband's shirts and a few of my jackets, and I got to meet the new owners. They were super friendly and helpful! I like when you can tell that business owners take pride in what they do. Apparently they remodeled the space as well - everything looks very clean and new. The Good: I'm mixed on this place. It has a mom and pop feel to it. I love how the lady asked for my name and when I went to pick-up my stuff a few days later she called me by my name(I really can't get enough of people saying my name). It's close to home and it's right next to a Trader Joe's so you can drop off your clothes and then go there. The Bad: The service is a tad slower than I'm used to. Flairs was like next day pick-up and here was like a 2 day. I'd like to see the prices lower, but I always like to see prices lower. It seems like there are so many dry cleaners in the area I'm bound to find a place cheaper. The Ben: Meh, I always need faster, cheaper, and cheaper dry cleaning. This place is the best! I had a handful of clothes that needed minor alterations, and had been putting it off. Through a Yelp search, I found this place right by my work. I brought in my items, explained what I needed, and left with my fingers crossed. By the end of the week, my clothes were ready to be picked up. Everything was beautifully altered - I couldn't have been happier with the results! Not only that, but the owners (a husband and wife team) were SO kind and helpful. I'm already looking for more items that I can take in to get altered. When clothes are tailored to fit you perfectly, it feels like you have a whole new wardrobe! I've been coming here for many years. Now it is under new management and Tony and Margo, have been consistent with the same prices and quality as before. I could not be happier with the organic cleaning method that they use. I love how perfectly pressed my closed are. When I have needed alterations, Margo quickly took out her pins and knew exactly how I wanted my things altered. They are great dry cleaners But I made that gigantic mistake of bringing them Saint John's. Ladies trousers to be tailored . The first time they handled them back to me it looks like a well looks like my grandchild could have done a better job at 12 years old. It looks like a kindergartner scissors cut them and then she sewed them The llegs were not the same size I was stupid enough to bring them back a second time well they did it again so she asked to bring for me to bring them back a third time I said the first time shame on you second time shame me the third time I'm not a fool... so these $600 pants all she would compensate was to sew 2 lengths of a duvet cover to take cover and she'd only give me $30 credit to my dry cleaning I told him retire the tailor . This is not the first time it took me for a ride my moms fur coat when she passed. My arms are longer than my moms I asked to see what she could do she ended up putting leather along the cuffs charged me $100 I paid it I didn't know any better . I've been to some to my new cleaners Lewis cleaners on Adams they took out the leather and re-stitched The lining so I just brought it home didn't think it would fit. Then much to of my astonishment I had called him Lewis cleaners on Adams Avenue and said what is this loaves in the fishes I can now wear this coat. And if this is inot bad when I did bring St. John's pants and I brought 2 skirts I needed them to be taken in she sewed them like a simplicity pattern. Don't do that with knits ! **DO NOT GO!!!!**, You have been Warned! I recently dropped off a few shirts, two piece, and three piece suit. I picked up and paid the amount due then was on my way to fly out for an important business trip. Not thinking, I reluctantly forgot to check to ensure all items were included. Once I arrive at my destination and began to unpack I came to realize that my newly purchased vest was not there. I was not too concerned as I assumed they still had it and would return it once I was back in town. I got back from the business trip and stopped by the cleaners to explain to them that the vest was missing. The man looked at me with a blank stare and said, "You picked up". I replied I understand I picked up my belongings but the vest was missing. He looked at his computer then said again, "You picked up!" I then politely asked well can you humor me and look at a missed/left behind items that you may have. He refused and still just said, "You picked up!" At this point my irritation levels rose and I told him I would not be wasting my time nor his coming to the store if I knew that it was missing. He just looked at the computer again and said, "I remember putting vest in jacket, you picked up!" This was a two-week business trip until I was able to come back by to retrieve my expensive vest, so his memory of one item of the thousands that filter through there astonished me.
