While I did mention that to booker, on the day of, Amie didn't know, but was a true pro on the day of, jumped on in, gave me the color I was looking for (which is a HARD color to do and I am PICKY AF -- "not too white, not too yellow, not too ash - somewhere in between - and Amie nailed it), and hung in there until she got it right. She also fixed a bad hair cut I had received prior, blending my bad cut AND prepping my hair for when I CAN come back to get extensions. She did not make short cuts, listened very well about what I wanted, got on the same page super quick, did not cut corners -- she did not let me leave until she was happy with the end result and so was I. It's an amazing space, and Kim and Amie are lovely and very sweet. Getting intensive color or extensions done is a long process (lol I wore my pajamas to be comfy because I know it takes time), and everybody is friendly, make you comfortable, and there is an adorable little four legged guy who says hi while you process. I approached the salon about the issue. They took several days to get back to me. Even though they were aware I was not local. By this time, I had more than 10 K-tips fall out. When I met with the stylist, there was little to no accountability, and she said that she would contact the owner. I contacted the salon on Friday and heard nothing until midday on Sunday, and I was the one who sent the follow-up text.They said it was my brushing. I had no contact from the owner- or solutions sent to me. I would've expected a more timely response and better education with how much I paid. Since then, I have switched to brushing exactly how the stylist recommended (from a video taken after their resolution), and they continue to fall out. The hair knots easily, and no matter how much conditioner I use at the ends, they slip out, and the knots stay. Tonight, I had 5 k-tips slide out after brushing it very delicately. I would not recommend this salon purely due to their lack of accountability, their unwillingness to fix issues, and that they will not resolve things in a timely manner even when they know you are from out of town.
