First, I just want to say that this service is very misleading on their website and over the phone. They had a special that said sofa cleaning for $89. I called the owner. He told me that this was for a sofa not a sectional which I understood after he explained it to me. I told him that I needed my sectional sofa and a rug cleaned. I told him how big sofa was and how many pieces and so I told him it was a very big sofa and 5 pieces total and you can imagine that a five piece sectional is pretty big. He quoted me at $115 for the sofa and $35 for the rug. But when he got to my house after looking at the sofa, he then told me that it was going to need deep service cleaning so an additional $112 would be paid if I wanted a full deep cleaning. The reason why I say it's mis leading is because he gave me a price of $115. There are no prices on his services and also told me to pay him as Venmo "friends and family". I was in the middle of a meeting so I did not argue and paid him. The whole thing seems sketchy. DO MOT RECOMMEND! read more

We enjoyed meeting Phil, the owner of Royalty Carpet Care, and based upon his comments and plans for our rugs, we set an appointment for wall-to-wall carpet cleaning and his takeaway service for a 22' long silk-and-wool Persian carpet. We were completely disappointed with his work on our wall-to-wall carpets. While the carpets were definitely cleaned, Royalty left the carpets so soaked it took two days to dry out with every window open. In some places the soap/cleaner residue was so significant, the carpet is crunchy and stiff when you walk in bare feet. We were really horrified by their work on the Persian runner that they took out-of-the home for a cleaning. Not only did it take more than one month to get the carpet back, it came with significant stains and a slight odor. We tried to reach Phil the owner to talk about this poor work. We called, left messages, sent images via text and email and never heard back on his promise to "make it right". Thanks to his poor workmanship and customer care, we did what we should have done in the first place and entrusted the Persian rug to Blatchfords Carpets. Unfortunately, now we are out another $300 for a proper cleaning. Save money and frustration and avoid Royalty Carpet Care. read more

I had Royalty Carpet Care come into my house to clean the carpet in the three rooms and the living room. I didn't think the carpet was too bad, but I have a cat and nephews, so... why not to get a professional cleaning instead just the usual vacuum? Like I said, I didn't think it was too bad, but after I got home, I was like "wow"!! What a good and professional cleaning can make! It made a huge difference. Came into my office to clean couch and chair. They are "well used" and have seen many clients. They couch and chair came clean and look good. They also suggested doing the traffic areas on the carpet - which we did. They were prompt, courteous and did a great job and gave a good price. Be careful of the bait and switch... I called a company who had great reviews, discussed my desire to clean a sunbrella covered sofa and loveseat and was guaranteed $99 rate. These were NOT stained or heavily soiled but just needed a refresh. Next day, this company Royalty Carpet Care's owner shows up, no mask or gloves (during Covid) and tries to upsell the 'deep' clean for $70 more! My husband declined. So the upholstery actually looks worse, little stains that I easily get out with a little Folex, still there, and I got the gift of a big stain on my carpet. Several hours later, waiting for things to dry and hope they looked better, I called and told him of my disappointment and stain on carpet. He blamed my husband for not getting the 'deep clean' which used cleaning enzymes... uh, huh? I asked what cleaning solution was used for our clean and basically he said steam. Again, huh? So no cleaning solution? So I paid $99 to have my upholstery steamed, looks worse, and have a huge stain. He wouldn't do anything to try to make it right and hung up. PLEASE, if you see this company van roll up, KEEP THEM OUT! Unfortunately my husband paid cash so I have mo other recourse except to help this not happen to you. read more

On the website, it's advertised that they'll clean the carpets in three rooms for $69. When the technician arrived, he told me it would be $175 for one 12x12 room and a hallway with stairs. I reminded him of the special and the tech replied that's only for "steam cleaning" and that I would require a "deep cleaning." He couldn't explain the difference or why it was so much more expensive. I have never paid more than $90 for the same area and said that I would have to get someone else to do the job. On February 5th i called to schedule a free quote as there website said they had a special for $69 you can get 3 room cleaned.. Well i was stoked! I set the appointment for today February 6th they always give you the open time slot 9 till 11 or when you set a time the leave a window of a few hours no biggie for me cause i really want clean carpets. Dogs and kids with this insane rain makes for dirty house, so the person calls and says he will be to my house by 925am so i say ok and i start moving things around to make it easier to have the full carpet cleaned. I even vacuum to get up some of the lose stuff. The guy gets to my home at 1021am an hour after the agreed apoun time. I show him what i need cleaned and I apologize for the mess in the house. He then tells me its an additional 45 per room due to deep stains and needing treatment. He says it will be 204 dollars. Im shook by that and declined to have the carpets done. He then demands i give him gas money. He got 10 bucks from me just so i could get him to leave but here the best part as he was cussing me out and flipping me off as he left he also threw in a free spit! Now it seems if you made it to here that i am just bitching about how much it costed, yes i am upset that it went from one price to another but i had already informed i had only pulled x amount from my bank. So the whole thing is he came to my home and insulted me, verbally abused me then assaulted me by spitting on me which i have all on video. I filed a police report and am pressing charges against him. If you want the head ache and all that awesomeness go ahead and hire them, however i wont be dealing with them or referring them. read more
