I've hired them three times over the past 15years and they're quality of work has significantly degraded. Find anyone else, they overcharge and under deliver! It appears they're more concerned with making a profit then delivering quality service and way over priced. Don't let their time in the business fool you, they're products are over valued and labor overpriced (they never provided me with an itemized receipt). Most recently, I hired them in March to install carpets for 2x bedrooms (10x10) + stairwell and it took them 3.5 days over two weeks to complete the job (they ended up coming back to fix their mistakes). They left a mess, parts of the carpet were already coming off, sections were either not measured or poorly cut and they forgot to complete a section. If I could give them MINUS stars I would. I'm a renter so it's unfortunate I have no choice with companies that my landlord chooses to use. They have sent this company many times to our house but this last time was it for me. I will not even allow them in my house if they hire them again. We got new carpet and new flooring in our rental of 15 years. The workers were extremely violent with not only with moving our appliances, but nearly ruined our blinds as well. They took absolutely NO care or respect with our personal property. While they were doing the job I had to supervise constantly. They left glue on our newly painted walls in many spots and I had to tell them to clean it, didn't hook up our water line to our refrigerator properly so it leaked shortly after the new kitchen floor repair, left green glue seeping out from crevices and caulking (see attached picture), they left many bubble spots in the new linoleum, and the worst of all....they moved the fridge so many times that it caused a rip in the new flooring right in front of the refrigerator (see attached picture). Of course they didn't think we'd see it but how could you not. They did manage to send out someone to fix the flooring. They didn't completely redo it of course, they patched it. Remember this is one sheet of linoleum, not tile that can easily be replaced. While the new guy that came out was extremely nice and seemed to know what he was doing, he managed to properly replace the damaged patch of linoleum but he failed to put it in the correct way so the pattern is off. So in the middle of the floor we have a patched area that doesn't correctly match. DO NOT USE this company. Their staff clearly doesn't care about your property and do not do a good job. read more

Had a beautiful Crate and Barrel wool carpet cleaned by Bonded. They can out and tested a area. Pleased it would clean with no fading or bleeding, I let them take it. Sad to say it came back faded and full of pills and the back binding torn off in several areas. After serval phone calls and saying that would even come and see my concerns To NO avail did anyone come. All I got was a lot of lip service. They really don't care. My apartment recently got flooded thanks to a overflowing toilet from the upstairs apartment. Bonded Carpet was hired by my property manager in order to replace the padding under the carpet, dry up my place, and to sanitize the affected areas of the flood/repairs. The install was acceptable, but the scheduling was a horror show. We were told it would be a two day install with 4 installers. Day one two installers came out and did the demo and completed the carpet in one room. Day two two different installers. Day three one different installer. Day four one different installer arrived at noon. Each morning we called and no one would take our call. They called back in the afternoon with excuses. We ended up delaying our staging and first open house due to their lies and incompetence. read more

I have used Bonded for many years and finally decided to write my review. They have installed flooring for both myself (primary residence and rental units) and my clients with the same spectacular result every time. Most recently I had them install luxury vinyl tile (LVT) in my home. The seaming is great, the stairs are even and the thresholds are flush. Paula has been my rep from the beginning. She is prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and quick with bid turn around. One Yelper noted that they ask you to pay by check. I have only ever paid by credit card and never had an issue. I've used this company to install my carpet on my projects for the last 3 years . They have been good for the most part . The last 2 carpet install they did for me was a very sloppy job . They damaged the wall that had just been painted. The installer wasn't professional at all . I've contacted Bill about having them fix the issues but it was never fixed . Horrible customer service. The manager for the apartment I've lived in for nearly 10 years uses Bonded so I've had to deal with their staff. The people who came into my unit were friendly but did shoddy work. Recently my family purchased a home and decided to get three estimates for new laminate and carpet. I was reluctant to call Bonded but thought perhaps their work in homes would be better. I'll never know because I couldn't get past the horrible customer service. The customer service rep, Sandy (spelling?), was pleasant enough the first time I called. She took note of my preferred appointment time and promised to call back the same day to confirm. She did indeed call back same day and let me know that Bonded's entire sales team would be in a meeting during my preferred time. I asked for a 7-9 a.m. time window on a Monday and she said this was outside regular hours so she would need to check and get back to me. Great! I never heard back from her. It is now Monday and, specifically, the date I requested. This morning a Bonded sales person apparently came to my door. I had already left for work. At 7:41 a.m. the sales person left a message informing me I had missed my 8 a.m. appointment. I immediately called Bonded to find out what had happened. Sandy again answered the phone and was not at all warm. She kept interrupting me and talking through me and made me feel an inconvenience. It seemed to me she thought I was at fault for the error. She insisted that she had confirmed the appointment with me and didn't seem willing to admit she might have made a mistake. Her manner was incredibly condescending and for a few moments I couldn't get a word in. I finally told her that due to her poor customer service I would not be using Bonded. A realtor recommended Bonded so maybe the work is better than the customer service, but based on what I saw in my apartment, I'd say that is unlikely. Calling Empire Today. read more

I contacted Bonded for a quote to install wood flooring. The sales person came and took measurements. I expected to receive a quote within a few days but NEVER heard back from the sales person! Even after sending several emails, the salesperson never responded! I was finally contacted by the sales manager who apologized and assured me that he was reassigning another salesperson on a Wednesday. I didn't hear from Bonded until the following week. They completely dropped the ball and if possible, I would give them a negative rating for their customer service. These guys are loud and obnoxious and lied when I asked the name of the business so I could report them. They don't care who else in a complex could be effected by their hoses, truck or noise they make. This review is for carpet cleaning, since I see that Bonded does a bunch of different things apparently. I live in a relatively small condo and desperately needed my carpets professionally cleaned. I scheduled appointments with 2 different companies, but canceled after seeing horrible Yelp reviews. I then decided to find a place through the Better Business Bureau (old school, but I was freaked out about getting ripped off). I scheduled an appointment with a time range of 1-4pm on a Tuesday and they said they would call 30 minutes in advance (they didn't). The guy arrived at 12:30, but it was fine. I paid the extra money for the degreaser and deodorizer ($45 total) because I figured I needed this, so I might as well go big. Whoop whoop! 1.5 hours later- I am VERY happy with how things turned out. The carpets look infinitely better and my place smells way better. Total cost was $120 and worth every penny. read more

I've had my carpets cleaned multiple times and through different companies, and few times through Bonded. As a recommendation for my Property Management, I contacted Bonded to come out to clean my carpet again. There's always a different technician. I've never had the same one twice. So, I expected the usual, soaking wet carpet ALL day and heavily soiled areas, especially at my front door and my kitchen entrance to remain soiled. Much to my surprise the company sent out a technician by the name of Thomas who arrived earlier than I had anticipated and had the job completed within 30 minutes. He walked in, greeted me, pre-treated my carpet and got to work. He did such a fantastic job of removing stains and cleaning heavily soiled areas and did not leave my carpet overly wet. This was the best carpet cleaning job I had ever experienced. . I've had other technicians from this company come out in the past, but he was by far the BEST! I was so impressed I didn't hesitate to contacted the company to let them know how satisfied I was with his service. One week later, I am still HAPPY! with the results. When I decide to have my carpet clean again or my upholstery, I will request him because he'll meet my expectations and that I'll be happy with his service. read more

But alas, here goes... I was originally referred to Bonded Carpet by my real estate agent when I needed new carpet installed in the crib. Rudy was extremely helpful and would frequently drive out to the property with samples and suggestions until I finally selected one I was completely happy with. The installers were quick and did a great job. Later when it came time to replace the linoleum with tile I contacted Rudy again as I had learned from past experience that laying tile is extremely tedious work and I would be contracting it next time (much gratitude to my friends who were conscripted to help me though!). Rudy exhibited the same attentiveness and service as always. And Chris was able to beautifully lay down the custom pattern exactly as I had envisioned it. Bonded carpet was referred to us by our Property Manager, as we were getting our condo ready to rent out. The overall installation went well, except they damaged a closet door track. So much so that it had to be completely replaced. That is when the issues began. First, we had to call more than 3 times to get someone to respond to our calls about our closet track--and they would only call us back when our Property Manager called them about the damaged track. I met Marc from Bonded at our condo--he tried to fix it using pliers (HA!), then realized it needed to be replaced. I went to Home Depot and ordered the new track. Marc promised that Bonded would pay me back for the cost of the new track. He picked it up from Home Depot and installed it, but then I never received payment for the track. I emailed him at least twice about the payment, and each time he had to ask how much it was, and that he would get the payment to us.The damage to the track happened in June, it is now September. Payment has never arrived. The cost wasn't much--less than $40. We can absorb that. But the fact remains that an employee from Bonded damaged our property, then they promised to pay for the property and never did. We won't ever use them again. read more

To keep it short, the cleaner was friendly, professional and was on time as scheduled. I'd definitely recommend them. After moving into our new home we needed new blinds. We choose Bonded and the company did not disappoint. I ordered our upstairs blinds in 2018 love them and then decided to finish downstairs in 2019 with more blinds. The customer service was wonderful I was able to actually talk to someone. The installers were nice and knew what they were doing. One blind was cut wrong and with no argument they offered to reinstall a new blind at no charge. They made sure the work area was clean and checked to make sure I was satisfied. I am very happy with my blinds and would recommend this company. I was looking for DUCT cleaning and called several Heating and Air servicing companies. Several of the Heating and Air companies referred Bonded. Referrals are everything to me! When I called, the young lady who answered the phone was very polite. She told me when they had availability and how the appointment worked. I scheduled my appointment with her and was given a 9am to 1pm time slot. Today for my appointment the gentleman from Bonded called to let me know he was going to be at my house in 30 minutes. It wasn't exactly 30 minutes, but it didn't matter as it was the polite call that impressed me. This was my first experience with Bonded. We had them out just to do DUCT cleaning and I can say I would definitely refer and use them again. I have to give special props to Ryan, the gentleman who did the work. I personally work customer service and have been for over 20 years. I have received many awards for my customer service and expect a lot out of people working in the service industry. Ryan was awesome! Great customer service, great personality, was willing to explain things without acting like he's put out (you know what I'm talking about... those people who sigh at you when you ask questions). Last, it was nice to have referrals in the end. He referred us to a website for an electrostatic filter due to having such severe allergies. There were no high pressure sales or anything else. I use Bonded at work, and they are the best! Their prices are very reasonable, they are quick to get the job done, and they are eager to please. If I ever have a concern about the cleaning, they go back out right away, no questions asked. This happens less then once a year. On average, I use them about 150 times a year. That shows what a great job they do. I also receive excellent service when installing new flooring. I get estimates quickly, and the flooring gets installed the next day once approved. The best thing is the warranty. On occasion the vinyl will get ripped when moving an appliance. When it is under warranty, they replace it for FREE! Not only is the vinyl free, but the labor as well! They don't try to repair it, they just replace it! I work with many different vendors every day, but Bonded is my favorite. I recently had Bonded Carpet perform a standard cleaning on our carpet, area rug and a large sectional couch. The technician, Danny, was on time and very polite. We live on the 3rd and 4th floors of our building so I was a little concerned that getting the hoses up or having to use a portable machine could cause a problem and possibly an additional charge. Danny had no problem figuring out a solution and did not upcharge me for the service which he easily could have. He did a wonderful job cleaning our very dirty carpets and was in and out in about 2 hours. I called Bonded after my tenant moved out. They left a mess and had a dog which made the unit smell bad. Bonded's carpet cleaning service used a machine called a pile lifter to remove all the dog hair, replaced the damaged pad and deodorized the slab flooring. No one would know the previous tenants had a pet living there. Bonded's janitorial service came in the next day. Laura did an outstanding job and made the place look new again. I was very impressed with the information provided on their website for handling pet urine stain removal. I had recently lost my elderly pet who had urination problems so I was looking for a company that could address this issue. I also looked up the company on the San Diego Better Business Bureau. I should have been weary as there were 4 complaints in the last 3 years, but I felt the way their website described how they handle the stain removal was important. Their rep came out and gave me a quote, breaking down the cost of the process. I called the office to setup the first appointment to treat the area and then later a second appointment would be made to clean the carpet and replace the pad. When they arrived, they told me they didn't have one of the products needed to to the job, a barrier sealer. This surprised me, as I would have expected a call to let me know this so that we could reschedule. He said he went to the supply place to pick it up that morning and they didn't have any in stock. I asked him, was it possible to try some other supply place? He said that it was the only one that the company had an account with. Seriously? Anyway, he started the process of treating the area/carpet. He put bleach on the sub floor and sprayed the carpet with the enzyme cleaner and removed the padding. Once he was done, I noticed the rug I have on the tile was discolored. I said to him that he must have gotten the bleach on it as he used a spray bottle. He said no, he did not. I used my fingers to wipe the tile in front of the rug and it was wet. I asked him if he would guess that this is bleach? He wiped it up with a towel but said nothing more about the rug. He left, taking the old padding with him so that when they come to clean the carpet that the padding will be replaced. I called the office and spoke with the manager about the rug that was ruined. He wanted to see the 5 foot rug to see if he could spot dye it. I said I couldn't take more time off work but said I could give the rug to the person that comes to clean the carpet. One thing he didn't mention was that he would be gone on vacation. A few days later, they came to clean the carpets. The new padding he brought was not the same density as my old padding. It appeared to be the same thickness but not the same density when you press down on the padding. My existing padding when pressed down on, didn't give much where the new one was very soft and giving. He said this is what they gave him and he called the warehouse and decided not to install it instead taking another piece of my old padding with him. and said he would personally look for a match in density in the warehouse. I then got a call from a woman at the company office saying they had the padding. She was under the impression that I didn't install the padding because of the padding color. How absurd, why would that matter? Carpet isn't transparent, you won't see the padding, hello! She was insistent that I pay the whole balance as I had only previously paid for the treatment and cleaning as that was what the carpet cleaner guy asked for, He had crossed out the padding and install since he didn't do that. I told the woman at the office that I didn't agree that I should pay the outstanding balance since there was still an open issue with the bleached rug so the job wasn't completed. She said they needed payment in order to allow the appointment to replace the padding to happen. I said okay but I didn't think that was right. I had no guarantee that the rug would be addressed once I made full payment. Also she told me the manager was on vacation and no one else could deal with the ruined rug issue. Really? I told her I would go ahead an pay so that we could schedule the padding to be replaced but I would not recommend the company to anyone. No one showed up for the scheduled appointment time! I called the office, spoke to a different woman. She said I was not scheduled for an appointment. What? The other woman didn't schedule it on purpose because I was apprehensive about paying, even though I gave in and agreed to make payment. The woman on the phone says she doesn't have access to my paper work as it was in the other woman's desk and she was not authorized to get it. She couldn't help me setup a new appointment to finish this job. She said I could just leave a message for the other woman to call me on Monday which I did. Do you see the trend here, people who can't seem to do their job! I didn't want them back in my house so I ending up replacing the padding and stretching the carpet myself. They did give me a $40 credit for the area rug they ruined. Note, I was never able to find a comparable replace rug. Then a year later they called me saying I was in collections for the $40 dollars balance. Yeah, seriously! Hello, that was a credit for the rug that was ruined. Unbelievable but that's what happen. read more

I, like many of you, have the type of landlord that will try his best not to make repairs to his rental property. When he does, it's always going to be with the cheapest guy in town... hence why we are in the midst of dealing with Bonded. If you want a company that will come to your house, make a mess of your things, break some, and then in essence tell you to F off when you call them out on it, then look no further, you've found them. In fact, when a copy of the report detailing the work done in my bedroom was requested, the rep flat out said, "no, you didn't hire us, get it from your landlord." If you find out you're stuck with these guys, then be ready to document everything and deal with some chick who sounds like one of the whiny sweet 16 girls when she gets a new Beemer in the wrong shade of pink. If it's not too late, then try Flood Rescue first. They are much friendlier and more helpful. read more

I had Bonded install luxurious vinyl and vinyl tile in 3 rooms. The price seemed right. The installation process was a bit of a disaster. All the materials had not been delivered in time so they had to come back again once the material was ready. They came back again and finished the job. The vinyl in the laundry room began to bubble so they sent out a quality assurance guy who told me it had to be replaced. They didn't have the vinyl I originally had in stock so I chose a lesser quality (it is just the laundry room). Bonded called me to say they were able to get the vinyl I had originally at no charge. The installer was meticulous, but took 9 hours to do a small laundry room. I would rate them 3.5 stars. i would use them again, but I recommend calling a few days in advance to ensure all your materials are ready for install. read more
