Super awesome experience. My daughter has a sidewall blowout save immediately freaked. She called me she I told her call AAA. Within 20 minutes, Ian arrived in scene, was super cool and calmed her down and 5 minutes later we were in our way. On August 20th we came to Thousands Oaks to my husband to have eye surgery. All went well until we were ready to leave. We had a dead battery. These guys are AMAZING. I had a battery go out on my Acura. AAA sent Roy's Towing to assist. Their guy Romeo came out, calling first to make sure he'd have what I needed, tested my battery, explaining everything as he did it, then replaced it for me in minutes. I already knew from my mechanic that I needed a new battery, but was pleasantly surprised by the superior customer service Romeo gave me AND it was cheaper than having my mechanic replace it AND it was done at my house. I was so impressed that when a friend of mine was visiting and HIS battery died, I requested that AAA send Roy's (and Romeo) out again. I even called Roy's directly to make sure my request was received by them. It was and they did indeed send Romeo, But the man who answered the phone was so helpful and "with it" that I have a feeling they're all great there. Yet again, Romeo called before coming out, updated me on his progress, showed my friend what he was doing, and left us feeling very well cared for. Really? My car was towed from Zuma beach almost immediately after I parked near the highway were million other cars were parked in a line. Cost me $560 to recover it within 3 hrs after I parked there. +additionally $73 City parking citation. I took my sick mother and special needs toddler to have some stress relieve after we lost my dad and found out was GONE with all medication and toddler food inside! Initially I thought it was stolen but decided to ask the lifeguard. Then run to sheriff office and they told my car is somewhere. I run to get my purse from my mom (I am 45y/o) waiting me a mile away and back to their office because we would potentially be left on the highway and never return home.This tow people were reusiming at 6pm and I was not even able to walk to get to Malibu High School parking lot were they took my car. Indeed? $640 for a 3 hour sitting on sand and near heart-attack condition for me and my sick mom with my hyperacting toddler on hands standing on the highway with no clue what to expect? Really guys? Do you really think you should have excessively charged me $560 for 2.5hrs storage and half mile tow? Just WOW. read more

I broke an axle on my 12 foot ATV trailer literally less than a half of mile from there tow service and tow yard. Roys towing said they would come get my trailer for $250 and get this.........then roys tow service wanted $190 per night to store my 12 foot atv trailer until I could get it fixed Monday morning. I was also told by Roy's towing that there is no overnight parking in thousand oaks which was a LIE!! UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY MAJOR MONEY I WOULDN'T RECOMEND THIS BUISENES !! read more

He diagnosed that my battery was dead and the one they had in the truck wasn't the right one to replace it, so he drove back to the tow yard got a new one and came back within a half hour. I unfortunately got my car towed away by Roys due to not calling HOA Saturday at around 3am. I was actually not feeling well and I was at the ER and forgot to call, regardless when I notice my car being gone at around 3:30pm I couldn't even find my car due to cobalt security person writing my address wrong. CHP kept telling me my car wasn't reported towed, so that I would have to make a stolen car police report, luckily some of the sheriff helped by calling around and found my car. Once I got to Roy's towing they charged me $689 to get my car out I guess they charge extra for being a weekend, they didn't even have my car for 24hrs. That's so insane that they're able to charge such a crazy amount of money for just a few hours. read more

I called AAA kind of late for a battery jump. Chris (aka Santa) was dispatched out to get ol blue going again! With fingers crossed Santa hooked up the box with cables and told me "alright, give her a turn" hot damn it was the battery in the old girl. He also showed me the positive and negative on the battery and how to hook the cables up to give jump in the event I ever find myself needing a jump. Very, very nice man. I was in an accident and my car was towed to Roy's lot in Thousand Oaks. I went the next day to clean out the car. Before I left, I tried to look under a seat for something. I had to take my watch off to fit my hand under the front seat. When I found what I was looking for, I forgot about the smart watch and left. When I realized that I had left it I called them. They looked and said they didn't find a watch, so I drove there again to look for it. The car had been moved, which means someone was in it. There was no watch. I don't like to accuse. I'm sure Roy's does a good job, because they have contracts with various law enforcement agencies. It's unfortunate that one bad apple is causing me to write this. It's great know that whomever took the smart watch won't be able to use it because it's locked. Maybe they'll be more careful who they hire in the future. read more

I absolutely loved the service I had last week from Roy's Towing in Thousand Oaks. I called AAA because my car wouldn't start. I asked for a tow truck just in case but called again to tell them maybe I just need a battery jump. Both vehicles showed up and I automatically felt secure and positive because John and Keith were so kind and friendly to me. They were both very competent and knowledgeable about my battery situation. They quickly tried to jump me then realized I needed a new battery. Keith even had the right battery size for me. I was involved in a terrible accident in Thousand Oaks Blvd when a man suddenly made a left turn on my green light. The Sheriff called AAA, and when Roy's towing arrived, they didn't even ask for my membership and towed my car to their garage. While i was still recovering and didn't get a chance to get my car out they already charged me $800 for the cost of tow and 3 days in their garage. Today i went to get my car out which is 5 days after the accident and they charged me $1,500. What a ripoff! read more
